When using Powershell to set Out-of-Office in Exchange 2007 (e.g.), do multiple commands containing -StartTime and -EndTime add to some internal list that Exchange maintains or does each successive command replace the previous command?
For example we have a staffer who is only in the office Tuesdays and Fridays. We'd like to set up Exchange to send an Out-of-Office message to all internal senders on those days when he's not in. How is this best done?
I have a couple of backed up .pst and .ost files that were used with a server that is not accessible anymore. On my local machine, I was able to Add... the .pst file to my fresh Outlook2007 and access the emails. However, adding an .ost file does not seem to be an options in the Accounts Settings dialog.
Is it possible to import the .ost file, or convert it to a .pst w/o the aid of the exchange server?
A couple of my users are having a problem where they will accept a meeting request, but the accept notice sent to the meeting coordinator says, "Accepted on behalf of X user by Y user." I have triple checked the settings for the permissions, and none of the people accepting on behalf of have access. (Not that they are actually doing the accepting anyways.)
We are currently using an Exchage2003 server with Office 2007. OS wise it's XP pro SP3.
Hi
Does anyone know if there is a way to see when a user had been issued full mailbox rights in Exchange 2007. Or is there a way to check which commands were issued when and by whom?
Thanks

I'm usually using Thunderbird, but for testing purposes have to start Outlook every now and then. Afterwards, Thunderbird informs me that it is no longer the default client, which it should have remained.
How to stop Outlook 2010 from being so insolent?
edit In fact, Outlook does not change any of the settings I checked so far (it doesn't re-register files, and mailto: links still open Thunderbird, so I'm rather confused at what Thunderbird considers to be modified by Outlook
Is there a way to automatically create an odd-numbers list in Word 2007 without having to manually change each line number by using the "Set Numbering Value" menu item in the Paragraph section of the Home ribbon?
Is there a way to find my SMTP information on my Exchange Server 2007? It was set up by someone else but I have full admin rights. I would like to use it for an internal .net application just to send emails locally.
Thanks in advance!
Daniel
When I create a relationship in access 2007 the line shows up connecting the two fields but I don't get the 1 on the primary key and the many sympol on the other field. It says one to many in the Edit realtionship box when I create the realitionship. Thanks in advanced for the help
In outlook2007's To-Do bar (the bar on the right with the Calendar, your task list and upcoming appointments), is there a way to hide a specific series of appointments?
I have daily appointments for scrum meetings, but I'm not interested in seeing the whole list of them.
I have a feeling this isn't possible, but anyone got any ideas?
Hi,
Can Exchange 2007 auto-reply to an incoming message? I don't want to set it up in Outlook I want the reply to be done on the server.
Many thanks

Hello. Look at the following picture:
This is MS Word 2007, hello/world is an MathType formula and the second one is an image. I want the picture to be treated exactly the same way, specificallty, having it aligned vertically on the same level with text. How can I do that? TIA
I am trying to create a protected form in MS Word 2007. However, once created it won't tab between the text fields, or from a text field to the next field, it only tabs inside of the text fields. It will tab to the next field for everything else, ie date boxes, list boxes, etc.
I have tried using the Rich Text control, the Plain Text control, the Text Form field and the Text Box control and it all does the same thing.
I am using Word 2007 and am trying to use the combo:
Ctrl + mouse scroll
To zoom in and out of the doc.
This function works fine in other programs (like google-chrome)
Is there a place to fix this ?
edit: I found out that when I scroll the mouse FAST the desired effect happens. I would like it to also work with slower scrolling. The thing is also that on any other program - the scrolling acts as normal. (so this is not a system wide preference)
I'm curious about the file formats of attachments moving through an Exchange 2007 mail environment. For instance the number of .doc vs. .docx files on average. Exchange Profile Analyzer seems more geared to message size than anything else. Is there anything that can provide this information without being hugely intrusive?
Outlook is always sending along 2 pictures (image001.png and image002.gif) with my mails. Even if I don't attach any images.
How do I fix this?
Thanks.

I have a problem getting my word and excel to work in ASP .NET.
I get the error message:
{System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {000209FF-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} failed due to the following error: 80070005. at xxx.Utility.WordDocument..ctor(String filePath, HttpServerUtility util) at customer_communication.BuCreate_click(Object sender, EventArgs e) in
This means I have access problem to the DCOM files. In Vista this isnt a problem, all I have to do there is to run "dcomcnfg" and in there find the Microsoft Excel dcom file.
In Windows 7 I cant find it, and I have no idea what to do now...
If anyone could help me that would be great!
I have a some tables, we will call them Table1,Table2.... and I need them to be Exported into specific spreadsheets in a macro enabled Excel File (.xlsm) that already exists. So I would need to put Table1 into Sheet2, Table2 into Sheet3... and so on. I had been doing this manually by going to the export menu in Access but it is getting monotonous so I would like to automate the process. The Excel file will already have code in each spreadsheet which would need to still be intact.
Hi there,
I have an excel spreadsheet that contains the primarky-key/id value for a record in a table in an access database.
I would like to export specific data from certain cells in the spreadsheet to certain fields in the corresponding record in the table.
Is this possible, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Noel
I would like to create a rule that moves anything with the words "SUCCESS * BenchmarResults", where the * indicates a wildcard to a specific folder. We have multiple systems that will be put in place of the *. We have emails that will return "WARNING * BenchmarkResults" that I don't want the rule applied to. I know I can create a seperate rule for each of our systems, but I want this rule to be dymanic where I can add new benchmark emails without creatting a new rule.
I'm using Outlook2007 and would like to combine multiple email accounts (some are Exchange, some IMAP) into a single Inbox/.OST mail file. An example of the functionality I'm looking for is the Blackberry, where you can configure multiple email accounts and then access that mail either by the inbox for that specific account or via a single aggregated mailbox. In the single mailbox case, when you reply to a given piece of mail the Blackberry is smart enough to switch your "From" address to be that of the account where the email came in to. I'm essentially looking for this functionality in Outlook.
Are there native options and/or third party plug-ins which do this?
Hi All
currently having an issue where the personal folders in outlook seem to be disappearing.
We have a folder called 0 Mail Filing, it seems to have disappeared, but doing a search for mail, it finds the mail and the folder is still in inbox/0 Mail Filing.
Is there anyway to find the exact location, or get the folder back. We have checked all of the other subfolders and the folder is not in any of them.
We are using Outlook2007 with Exchange Server 2003.
Thanks
