• Disk I/O error copying a Exchange 2007 database

  Hi all, A short time ago due to disk space I moved our Exchange database onto an external drive, the drive was new and the database was being backed up daily. I've now discovered the database is corrupt, I've run the Exchange utils to fix the database and this works but it corrupts again as soon as I try to move it. I need to get it off the disk, any suggestions? I'm also trying to restore the last good database but I'd like try to get the database off this disk, any suggestions? PS I know putting the db on an external disk was a bad move, I had no where else to put it :-( Thanks

• Windows XP and IE8 javascript won't work even though Enable Active Scripting is enabled

  Hi all, I have a Windows XP machine on our LAN, origianlly running IE7 and now IE8, javascript won't work even though Enable Active Scripting is enabled. I've disabled the Anti-Virus with no luck. Other PCs are fine. Any suggestions on what would cause this? Thanks Scott

• Should I use Windows deployment server to deploy Windows 7?

  Hi all, I've installed the Windows Deployment Server role on to Windows 2008 R2, I've found the Windows PE .wim file from the Windows 7 AIK and added it to my deployment server. On a client I can now do a network boot and have the Windows PE image load, now on my previous Windows 2003 Deployment Server I'd type WDSCapture and upload the Windows client to the server but WDSCapture is no longer present. Am I missing something? Should I be using Windows Deployment Server for Windows 7? Many thanks Scott
