  I have 2 mysql tables : Question with the following columns : id, question, nranswers Nranswers must be a number from 1 to 5 And the other table is Answers with the following columns: userid, answer . Now the problem is that I want to get the replies for each answer for one question(id 22 let's say) . P.S. If the nranswers is 3, the result should look like this: (the right number means how many times the reply number was chosen) 1 - 2 2 - 8 3 - 7 If the nranswers is 5, the result should look like this: 1 - 3 2 - 8 3 - 14 4 - 19 5 - 8 Please help me out with the query, atm he's not counting the answers that weren't chosen, only the ones that were chosen at least one time.

• New TPerlRegEx Compatible with Delphi XE

  The new RegularExpressionsCore unit in Delphi XE is based on the PerlRegEx unit that I wrote many years ago. Since I donated full rights to a copy rather than full rights to the original, I can continue to make my version of TPerlRegEx available to people using older versions of Delphi. I did make a few changes to the code to modernize it a bit prior to donating a copy to Embarcadero. The latest TPerlRegEx includes those changes. This allows you to use the same regex-based code using the RegularExpressionsCore unit in Delphi XE, and the PerlRegEx unit in Delphi 2010 and earlier. If you’re writing new code using regular expressions in Delphi 2010 or earlier, I strongly recomment you use the new version of my PerlRegEx unit. If you later migrate your code to Delphi XE, all you have to do is replace PerlRegEx with RegularExrpessionsCore in the uses clause of your units. If you have code written using an older version of TPerlRegEx that you want to migrate to the latest TPerlRegEx, you’ll need to take a few changes into account. The original TPerlRegEx was developed when Borland’s goal was to have a component for everything on the component palette. So the old TPerlRegEx derives from TComponent, allowing you to put it on the component palette and drop it on a form. The new TPerlRegEx derives from TObject. It can only be instantiated at runtime. If you want to migrate from an older version of TPerlRegEx to the latest TPerlRegEx, start with removing any TPerlRegEx components you may have placed on forms or data modules and instantiate the objects at runtime instead. When instantiating at runtime, you no longer need to pass an owner component to the Create() constructor. Simply remove the parameter. Some of the property and method names in the original TPerlRegEx were a bit unwieldy. These have been renamed in the latest TPerlRegEx. Essentially, in all identifiers SubExpression was replaced with Group and MatchedExpression was replaced with Matched. So it generates a random number, and the switch algorithm swaps the chosen image with the one in the imgview. but I want a switch in the settings app to toggle which set of images to use. I know pretty much how to do it...it's just that it doesn't work.   In Google Analytics, there is extensive information on the mobile device, version and browser version. However, this doesn't seem to go beyond the mobile browser. I would like to determine which application is responsible for visits to my site. Specifically, I want to know how many visits are coming from zite. http://www.handsetdetection.com/properties/vendormodel/Apple/iPad/page:4 seems to indicate this information is probably available, where/does Google Analytics expose this?

  Hi, A mortgage page on our website is accesible by multiple links on one page. In order to determine which of the links on that same page has been clicked on, I use event tracking. All events for these links are being stored under the category: "mortgage" When I look at the total number of pageviews for this mortgage page and the total number of events for the event category "mortgage", the number of pageviews is 10%-20% higher. • Strange behaviour of switch case with boolean value

  My question is not about how to solve this error(I already solved it) but why is this error with boolean value. My function is private string NumberToString(int number, bool flag) { string str; switch(flag) { case true: str = number.ToString("00"); break; case false: str = number.ToString("0000"); break; } return str; } Error is Use of unassigned local variable 'str'. Bool can only take true or false. So it will populate str in either case. Then why this error? Moreover this error is gone if along with true and false case I add a default case, but still what can a bool hold apart from true and false? Why this strange behaviour with bool variable?

• Pygame program that can get keyboard input with caps

  I have a Pygame program that needs text input. The way it does this is to get keyboard input and when a key is pressed it renders that key so it is added to the screen. Essentially it acts like a text field. The problem is, when you hold shift it doesn't do anything. I relize this is because the program ignores shift input and instead writes the text if it's number is under 128. I have thought of setting a variable when shift is pressed then capitalizing if it was true, but string capitalization only woks on letters, not things like numbers or semicolons. Is there maybe a number I can add to the ascii number typed to modify it if shift is pressed, or something else?

• Implementing a configurable factory

  I'm having difficulties finding out how to implement a 'configurable' behavior in a factory class in PHP. I've got at class, which takes another class as an argument in its constructor. The argument class could take a number of arguments in its constructor. An instance of my main class could look something like this $instance = new MyClass(new OtherClass(20, true)); $instance2 = new MyClass(new DifferentClass('test')); This is rather clumsy and has a number of problems and therefore I would like to move this into a factory class. The problem is that this factory somehow needs to know how to instantiate the argument class, as this class can have any number of arguments in the constructor. Preferably I would like to be able to do something like this $instance = Factory::build('OtherClass'); $instance2 = Factory::build('DifferentClass'); And let the factory retrieve the arguments from a configuration array or similar. Is there a proper solution to this problem?

My network has [2x98] input and [1x98] target, i've tried consulting matlab help but im still kind of clueless about what to do :( so, any help would be appreciated. • Equivalent of LaTeX's \label and \ref in HTML.

  I have an FAQ in HTML (example) in which the questions refer to each other a lot. That means whenever we insert/delete/rearrange the questions, the numbering changes. LaTeX solves this very elegantly with \label and \ref -- you give items simple tags and LaTeX worries about converting to numbers in the final document. How do people deal with that in HTML? ADDED: Note that this is no problem if you don't have to actually refer to items by number, in which case you can set a tag with <a name="foo"> and then link to it with <a href="#foo">some non-numerical way to refer to foo</a>. But I'm assuming "foo" has some auto-generated number, say from an <ol> list, and I want to use that number to refer to and link to it.

• problem with closing sockets

  Hi, I'm trying to write a client/server program with threads. I close the socket once the connexion is finished. The servers gets plenty of new connexions, and the socket number (file descriptor) increases very quickly: after 5 minutes running I was already at around file descriptor number 800! Is this a normal thing? Do threads share file descriptors? When I do close(sockfd); is the number released immediatly or after a some time? PS: I used to do with fork(), and I didn't have this issue.   I have an ArrayList a collection class of java as follows. ArrayList<String>animals = new ArrayList<String>(); animals.add("bat"); animals.add("owl"); animals.add("bat"); animals.add("bat"); As you can see the animals ArrayList consists of 3 bat elements and one owl element. I was wondering if there is any API in collection framework that returns the number of bat occurrences or is there a way to determine number of occurrences. I found that google's collection multiset does have an api that returns total number of occurrences of an element. But that is compatible only with jdk1.5. Our product is currently in jdk 1.6. Hence cannot use it.

  I'm writing a perl program that was doing a simple get command to retrieve results and process them. But the site has been updated and now has a java component that handles the results (so the actual data is not in the source code anymore). This is the site: http://wro.westchesterclerk.com/legalsearch.aspx Try putting in: Index Number: 11103 Year: 2009 I want to be able to pro grammatically enter the "index number" and "year" at the bottom of the form where it says "search by number" and then retrieve the results listed next to it. I've written many programs in Perl that simply pass variables via the URL and the results are listed in the source code, so it's easy to parse. (Using LWP:Simple) Like: $html = get("http://www.url.com?id=$somenum&year=$someyear") But this is totally new to me and I don't know where to begin. I'm somewhat familiar with LWP:UserAgent and Mechanize. I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks!
