Somehow, nothing gets displayed, but when I use the same textblock binding outside the grid, everything works fine. What exactly I want to do is in the datagridtemplatecolumn for others I want to display the usernames that are not in CurrentUsername, but they have the same program Id as the CurrentUsername. Please do let me know if there is another way that i can make this work, instead of using a dependencyproperty, althouht for testing I did put a textblock below datagrid, and it works perfectly fine..   • WPF: TextBox expanding with surrounding Grid but not with text

    I have a problem with a TextBox in an application... A window has a Grid with two columns. The left column contains a control with a constant width but with a height that adapts. The right column contains a TextBox that takes up all remaining space in the Grid (and thereby in the Window). The Grid is given a minimal width and height and is wrapped within a ScrollViewer. If the user resizes the window to be smaller than the minimal widht/height of the Grid, scrollbars are displayed. This is exactly how I want it to be. However, a problem occurs when the user starts typing text. If the text is to long to fit in one line in the TextBox, I want the text to wrap. Therefore I set TextWrapping="Wrap" on the TextBox. But since the TextBox has an automatic width and is wrapped in a ScrollViewer (its actually the whole Grid that is wrapped), the TextBox just keeps expanding to the right. I do want the TextBox to expand if the window is expanded, but I don't want the TextBox to expand by the text. Rather the text should wrap inside the available TextBox. If the text don't fit within the TextBox height, a scrollbar should be displayed within the TextBox. Is there a way to accomplish this?     Hi friends, I am trying to write a small application using bouncycastle algorithm, from the http://tinyurl.com/ylclavn (BouncyCastleProvider.java) it says we have to import and add the provider during runtime by the following code import org.bouncycastle.jce.provider.BouncyCastleProvider; Security.addProvider(new BouncyCastleProvider()); error - The import org.bouncycastle cannot be resolved; during import error - BouncyCastleProvider cannot be resolved to a type; when calling addProvider I though bouncycastle is not provided with the Android 1.6 SDK, so thought of installing separately. how should i do this? If Bouncycastle is shipped along with SDK, what should i do to avoid these errors? I am using Android 1.6, eclipse-V3.4.0 on winXP . Thanks in advance

  • Creating sub-applications within applications in IIS/ASP.Net

    I am basically trying to do the same thing as this question, create a new application within a folder so it could be accessed as follows. * http://www.domain.com/ < Main App * http://www.domain.com/newapp < New App The problem is that newapp is reading the web.config from the Main App, which is causing errors because it doesn't have all the same dlls etc. For New App, in IIS, the starting point is set at /newapp, so I am not sure why it is reading the web.config from / at all. It is set as it's own application. I am testing this in IIS6 on XP Pro, so not sure if that makes a difference. The Main App is dotnet 1.1, and New App is 3.0.

  • Android's EditText is hidden when the virtual keyboard is shown and a SurfaceView is involved

    I have a simple user interface: an EditText should be located below a SurfaceView. I use a RelativeLayout to arrange these two views. Now, when I tap on the EditText to open the virtual keyboard the SurfaceView slides up but the EditText is hidden and does not show the typed string. To reproduce, use the following layout XML code: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:id="@+id/RelativeLayout01" android:layout_height="fill_parent" android:layout_width="fill_parent"> <SurfaceView android:id="@+id/SurfaceView01" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="wrap_content"> </SurfaceView> <EditText android:id="@+id/EditText01" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_alignParentLeft="true" android:layout_alignParentBottom="true" android:selectAllOnFocus="true" android:textStyle="normal" android:singleLine="true"> </EditText> </RelativeLayout> The main Activity class only needs to show the layout. When I start the program and tap the EditText, the virtual keyboard appears but the EditText field is gone.     Hi all. I've been receiving this warning since I loaded my project in last Xcode 4 preview. There was no warning before that but now I can't get rid of it even in Xcode 3.2. I've been googling but nobody seems to have the same error. My project and target settings are correct (IMHO): Architectures: Standard (armv6 armv7), Base SDK: Latest iOS (currently set to iOS 4.2), Build Active Architecture Only: FALSE, Valid Architectures: armv6 armv7. I compared every project setting with other projects and and found no differences. I even have recreated the project starting from scratch and copying classes, resources and frameworks with the same result. I must say that the warning is not shown when I set Debug configuration. I hope someone can help me because I don't know what to do. Thanks in advice.

    I don't know RC scripts. I want to include Product version, File version, etc. metadata into a DLL I'm building. I'm using an .rc file to do that. The build is makefile driven. I'm following along with an example .rc scrpit I found. The template .rc file includes afxres.h , but I don't think I need that. But if I just remove it I get a bunch of compile errors. What does a basic, non-MFC RC script look like?     I attempted to install the perl module Net::Twitter::Role::API::Lists using WHM and after doing so my whole site came down. It seems that something that was updated with the install isn't functioning correctly and since our website it written in Perl none of our site scripts will run. In almost 8 years of working with Perl I've never had any issues arise after installing a perl module so I have no idea how to even start troubleshooting.     I recently installed a fresh development setup on my laptop and now notice that my instances of spork take several minutes to start up. This is also most likely of the RSpec and Cucumber tests start up times running super slow. I ran in diagnostic mode with the -d flag and received the output below.   • Setting html attribute that is reserved keyword in Html.CheckBoxFor in ASP.NET MVC

    Hi, I am using the HtmlHelper to create a checkbox in my view like so: <%= Html.CheckBoxFor(model = model.SeatOnly, new { checked = "checked" })% However, an error is being thrown as checked is a reserved keyword. I have found a couple of people saying that you must use the 'reserved word prefix' and simply put an uderscore in front of the attribute like so: <%= Html.CheckBoxFor(model = model.SeatOnly, new { _checked = "checked" })% This does not generate an error but in the generated html the attribute is actually '_checked' which means it doesn't work (if I use firebug and remove the underscore the attribute then takes effect). Does anyone know a way around this while still using CheckBoxFor? Thanks

  • iPad SplitView changes main navigation bar color

    Weird problem: After rotating my app to portrait, picking the toolbar item and exposing the uipopovercontroller, if I rotate back to landscape, the UINavigationController on the right side (objectAtIndex:0 of the SplitView) changes the color of the navigation bar. I am not sure why. I have it set in Interface Builder to be barStyle = UIBarStyleBlackOpaque; It turns silver after it returns to landscape mode. This only happens if I rotate it to portrait, create the popover, and select something in the navigation controller, which pushes another tableViewController. Even setting the properties in the viewDidLoad method does nothing. Anyone have an idea?

    Alright I am having a world of difficulty tracking down this memory leak. When running this script I do not see any memory leaking, but my objectalloc is climbing. Instruments points to CGBitmapContextCreateImage create_bitmap_data_provider malloc, this takes up 60% of my objectalloc.     hi, i have an android-app with a listview in an activity. the listview has, if i call it so, three data states. no data loaded from inet - only one dummy item is visible, saying that data is loading data is loaded and shown in list one listitem is clicked and now shows more information for this listitem (so it is increased in its height) on every state change (1 - 2, 2 - 3) i call notifyDataSetChanged() on this ListAdapater. this causes the listview to scroll down to the last item. this is ugly in the first transition and even more ugly in the second because the clicked list item is now out of focus. as i can see, this happens with a google g1 with android 1.6. a htc touch with the same sdk acts like desired (i try to figure it out with some more devices). to avoid this i tried to read out getScrollY() and set this value back. but this returns 0. the reason for this return value i already found on stackoverflow in other qutestions. does anyone else comes along with my problem so far? why does the listview scrolls to the last item? it was mentioned, that listview does keep track on the scroll position. but it seems that it does not in my case. or may i call the wrong refresh method? is notifyDataSetChanged the correct one?

  • Facebook connect displaying invite friends dialog and closing on completion

    I'm trying to create a Facebook Connect application that displays a friend invite dialog within the page using Facebook's Javascript API (through a FBMLPopupDialog). The trouble is to display a friend invite dialog you use a multi-friend form which requires an action="url" attribute that represents the URL to redirect your page to when the user completes or skips the form. The problem is that I want to just close the FBMLPopupDialog (the same behavior as if the user just hit the 'X' button on the popup dialog). The best I can do is redirect the user back to the page they were on basically a reload but they lose all AJAX/Flash application state. I'm wondering if any Facebook Connect developers have run into this issue and have a good way to simply display a friend invite "lightbox" dialog within their website where they don't want to "refresh" or "redirect" when the user finishes.
