can anybody explain me what does this line mean in javamail api..it it used to setup a mail server..but i cant understand it
props.put("mail.smtp.host", host);
We have common library projects shared amongst many projects that are required to be checked out into a "Libraries" folder which a developer needs to checkout prior to opening the main project in visual studio.
How I tell hudson that there is this dependency?
I figured one thing I could do is setup a custom workspace and specify the location for all projects, but how do I wire up the dependency between them all? Is simply specifying "Build after other projects are built" enough?
I'm reading the steps to build a web app skeleton:
http://maestric.com/doc/java/spring/setup#web_app_skeleton
And feel it's greatly different from other languages like PHP.
How is it executed?
I am on Ubuntu10
sudo apt-get install ruby1.9.1-full
then download sources of rubygem 1.3.7 and install it
sudo ruby setup.rb
then, for example, install sinatra
sudo gem install sinatra
Finally open irb and type
require "rubygems"
require "sinatra"
and get error
LoadError: no such file to load -- sinatra
from (irb):2:in `require'
from (irb):2
from /usr/bin/irb:12:in `<main>'
Gem.path is the same to INSTALLATION DIRECTORY from "gem environment"
Hi,
I'm a starter with Emacs (but quite experienced Vim user) and trying to play with Emacs+Clojure combination. Maybe my setup will be unusual for Emacs world, as I'm not using SLIME/swank-clojure, but Emacs + eshell with running clojure REPL in it, mostly due simplicity (or probably because SLIME quite scares me off :D).
So, maybe there is a Emacs guru that can help me here: does exists any shortcut (or maybe some elisp sample) to copy/paste code chunks (sexps) from editing buffer to eshell (and possibly execute it)?
Thanks.
I often read about dependency injection and I did research on google and I understand in theory what it can do and how it works, but I'd like to see an actual code base using it (Java/guice would be preferred).
Can anyone point me to an open source project, where I can see, how it's really used? I think browsing the code and seeing the whole setup shows me more than the ususal snippets in the introduction articles you find around the web. Thanks in advance!
Our current setup is that we have two targets, Staging and Live. Collaborators may update the affected component while it is still within the workflow. A final activity is set to publish the related pages to Live. Is it possible to publish component updates (revisions e.g. 2.2, 2.5) to Staging from within the workflow?
The TOM API documentation for Page.Publish() method does not seem to have an input parameter to fullfil such purpose.
I want to implement a chat service on my site, and wonder how to create a simple browser-based IRC client?
I have a linux box and can install whatever I want on it. Google finds tutors on how to setup an IRC server but no instructions on how to create an IRC client.
(As client languages, I can use JavaScript or Flash.)
I installed rvm as root to setup an Ubuntu LTS 8.04 as a web hosting server for my rails apps.
rvm is installed in:
/usr/local/rvm
Everything works fine, gems installation included and users are able to use ruby and gem commands.
sudo gem install rails
My problem is that the gems EXECUTABLE DIRECTORY is not included in my PATH and thus I cannot use rails command.
Is there a way to dynamycally include gems executable directory in my PATH?
Can it be done directly through rvm?
I have a script which displays images like this:
header("Content-Type: image/{$ext}");
readfile($image-path);
This has worked fine for weeks and now suddenly it has stopped working. The response header looks fine (Content-Type: image/jpg), I have no ending php-tag and I have made no changes to my code, server- or php-setup which could have caused this to malfunction. Does anyone have a clue as to what may be going wrong?
Thanks!
I'm running the latest Mercurial and Python 2.6; IIS6 is using the wildcard ISAPI method to attach the site to the Mecurial hgwebdir_wsgi
[paths]
\ = \\COMP3254\TestRepo\*
[web]
baseurl = /
allow_push = *
push_ssl = false
style = monoblue
The setup works perfectly if I reference the local drive E:\repo* but doesnt work if I specify the network as above; I've given the server (MERCDEV01$) full permissions on the shared folder on COMP3254, I can't think of any other reason it wouldn't work.
Any ideas?
I'm looking for a PHP profiler that works with Zend Server (CE). From what I can tell, XDebug is a pain to setup with Zend Server. While Zend Debugger is free (as I understand it), the Profiler is only on Zend Studio.
Any other options?
Are there any tools that can be used to connect to windows 2008 servers, and get a comparison of the installed patches/updates on the servers, showing what is installed on one and not on the other?
This is to help isolate an issue we are seeing on a specific windows server, in a load balanced setup. There is a certain performance/locking issue, which is mitigated whenever one of the servers is disabled.
Please share, if you have any suggestions.
Thanks in advance!
I'm trying to make a blogging system but obviously certain users in certain groups should only be able to edit/delete their own posts/comments. How would I go about doing this in CakePHP? I followed the manual's basic Acl guide to setup my current Auth system.
I am programming in c++ MFC,
I want to get "C:\windows" "c:\program files" folder path.
Sometimes user may setup windows in other folder such as c:\windows0.
Is there any API to get absolute path of the windows and program files path?
Many thanks!
Not sure what's happening with this, but here's my question. I have a Sql Server 2008 database that I need to be able to do full-text indexing/searching but when I try to setup my indices on the table, I get the following:
I've tried running this stored procedure on my database and it's successful:
EXEC sp_fulltext_database @action = 'enable'
But I still get the above window and my full-text searches don't return any results when they should.
What am I missing?
Hi
I need to block rotation to landscape orientation because my app crashes when it attempts to rotate views to landscape.
How do I block rotation to landscape and where can I setup the block such that it applies to all my views?
Thanks
So i have a SQL table setup as such
CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS `points` (
`id` int(11) NOT NULL auto_increment,
`lat` float(10,6) NOT NULL,
`lng` float(10,6) NOT NULL,
PRIMARY KEY (`id`)
) ENGINE=MyISAM;
And im inserting stuff like
INSERT INTO `points` (`lat`, `lng`) VALUES ('89.123456','-12.123456');
Gives me a row with lat and lng being 89.123459 and -12.123455
Whats up?
Hi,
We've got our navigation setup so that subsites show in the global navigation but we have a requirement to also put custom links to external sites which is straight forward. The tricky part is that some of the custom links need security trimming which you don't get when you add your own links to the navigation.
Just wondering if anyone has got some ideas on how to work around this?
Thanks
Dan
I usually work with BASH, but I'm trying to setup a cronjob from a machine and user account that is configured with zsh. When the cronjob runs, the date variable does not contain the date, just the string for the command to return the date.
DATE=$(date +%Y%m%d)
55 15 * * 1-5 scp user@host:/path/to/some/file/$DATE.log /tmp
I've tried using backticks rather than $() around the command, but that did not work either. Is there a special way to do command substitution in zsh?
Hi folks,
When someone uses the OutputCache directive in an ASP.NET WebForms/MVC application, does it actually do any caching server-side, like using the Cache or does it only setup some properties in the Response object like the Cache-Control property?
Cheers :)
Hi all,
I'm trying to setup a parallel CMake-based build for my source tree, but when I issue
$ cmake .
$ make -j2
I get a jobserver unavailable: using -j1. Add '+' to parent make rule warning. Does anyone have an idea if it is possible to fix it somehow?
If I want to distribute some software on a bootable CD, is there a way (from windows) to force the machine to restart onto the CD OS, even if the BIOS is not setup with boot from CD?
I want to build a bot that asks someone a few simple questions and branches based on the answer. I realize parsing meaning from the human responses will be challenging, but how do you setup the program to deal with the "state" of the conversation?
EDIT: It will be a one-to-one conversation between a human and the bot.
