Where can I find a code to parse URL queries in C++?
For example: "id=34&name=test&size=367"
And something like 'getvalue(parser_query, "name")' that returns 'test'.
Thanks.
I have a string based code that can be either two or three characters in length and I am looking for some help in creating a function that will increment it.
Each 'digit' of the code has a value of 0 to 9 and A to Z.
some examples:
the first code in the sequence is 000
009 - next code is - 00A
00D - next code is - 00E
AAZ - next code is - AB0
the last code is ZZZ.
Hope this makes some sense.
Hi,
I would like to know how can I embedd a code source file (if possible), something like that:
class X
{
include "ClassXsource"
}
My second question - Can I build DLL or something like that for my colleagues to use? I need them to be able to call methods from my "part" but do not modify or view their content. Basically just use namespace "MyNamespace" and call its methods, but I have never done anything like that.
Thanks
How can I change *.EXEs icons from c# code (not my main app icon but from that app i want to change the icon of another exe).
I eventually would have to change the icons for A LOT of files so I am looking for a fast and good performance way to do it.
I have been googling for 30min but all I found is how to set the icon for the app in VS.
I am new to photo apps, recently I am interested in making a sticker app like those can be seen in the appstore, I know I would need to use uiimagepickercontroller, uiscrollview and uigesturerecognizer.
However I wonder which code method should I use for the app to load multiple stickers? Should it be called programmatically? Is that I would need to use the if-statement, say if one sticker is loaded, the app will auto generate a new sticker on top of it?
I want to make Waf generate a beep when it finishes the execution of any command that took more than 10 seconds.
I don't know how do add this and assure that the code executes when Waf exits.
This should run for any Waf command not only build.
I checked the Waf book but I wasn't able to find any indication about how should I do this.
What was the most stupid code mistake you have ever made that had great consequences, e.g. you were fired?
For example, a friend of mine wrote a cycle with conditional statement for break that was never true, which caused one high-loaded site to hang up for the whole night.
A hypothetical scenario:
I've got a project whose source compliance level is specified to 1.5.
Now I compile this project with two different JDKs: At first with JDK 6 Update 7 and then with JDK 6 Update 20.
Do these two different JDKs produce different Java byte code, although they only differ in their Update version?
From time to time, I find myself writing server code that produces JavaScript code as the output result.
I can point out why it is really bad:
Inextricable tie between server code and client code.
Can render client code un-reusable.
But sometimes, it just seems to make sense.
And isn't it kinda sorta interesting?
I guess the question is, is writing server code that produces JavaScript code a really bad practice, or "does everyone do it"?
I have a OCaml library with lots of classes I need some translator to make it from OCaml lib a C lib so to be able to use its methods. How to do such thing? How to port OCaml lib into lib Acsessable from C code?
Where can I find the source code of something like this (Google Map API):
http://gmaps-utility-library.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/labeledmarker/1.1/examples/airportmap.html
What's the easiest way of marking spots in a Google Map API (embedded in my web site), according to a list of places and dates?
Sometimes when I get an Exception while debugging in Visual Studio, all the code lines in the stack trace belong to the System.. name space. It doesn't display my line of code which was responsible for the exception.
Is there a way to be make the stack trace show more lines or to ignore stack trace from the system namespace? Something like Just-My-Code for stack trace?
Anyone know of a web service or something out there that I could give a zip code and get a time zone back?
Or is that something I just need to write myself? If so, any hints or guides on how to do that?
I use visual studio 2008 and C#.
I've been a PHP programmer for 3 years. I really want to improve myself and I think reading more helps but I'm confused where to concentrate next. I have two choices, read more about DB design and advanced SQL or should I read Code Complete fully?
I have a class (Class B) that inherits another class (Class A) that contains virtual methods.
Mistakenly, I omitted the override keyword when declaring a (supposed to be) overriding method in Class B.
Class A
public class ClassA{
public virtual void TestMethod(){
}
}
Class B
public class ClassB : ClassA{
public void TestMethod(){
}
}
The code compiled without a problem. Can anyone explain why?
I would like to know if there's exists some simple code to get to the page i know its ID , I would like to create small input (no matter where in templates)from where the people can easily get to the page if they know it's page ID . I have the girls portfolio in wordpress - portfolio=pages x jobs in clubs offers=posts , I would like the girls portfolios to be easily searchable by ID(s) , if possible the same for the posts=jobs in clubs
In the past, with pages with large viewstate I have overridden the PageStatePersister class so when the state is saved I compress it. On Load I decompress it. I have haven't really thought about it, but could IIS handle something like this better? The reason I did this was to keep my pages slimmer because I have a lot of custom controls on the page and the viewstate was huge. This is where I got my original code from:
http://www.codeproject.com/KB/viewstate/ViewStateCompression.aspx?msg=1906999
Let's say I want make some of my sources publicly available via my blog or other web location.
How do I properly indicate what Open Source license I've applied to the sources? For instance, with the MIT License or The Code Project Open License, should I put something at he top of the source files or should I have something on the web page, or both?
I am aware of some the obvious gains of the x64 architecture (higher addressable RAM addresses, ect)... but:
What if my program has no real need to run in native 64 bit mode. Should I port it anyway?
Are there any foreseeable deadlines for ending 32 bit support?
Would my application run faster / better / more secure as native x64 code?
I can find the start coordinates of where a swipe starts by doing the following
- (void)oneFingerSwipeUp:(UISwipeGestureRecognizer *)recognizer
{
CGPoint point = [recognizer locationInView:[self view]];
NSLog(@"Swipe up - start location: %f,%f", point.x, point.y);
}
Is it possible to find the coordinates where the swipe ended?
I looked into the docs and its not mentioned. Is there some work around for this?
Many Thanks,

I have a CGI based form that I am working with and I would like to be able to include some PHP code in the generated results. However, when I do this, the PHP does not appear to get processed and just ends up being displayed in the resulting web page.
Is what I am doing actually possible or am I missing something?
Thanks.
Hi All,
How can I measure the speed of code written in Java?
I planning to develop software which will solve Sudoku using all presently available AI and ML algorithms and compare time against simple brute-force method. I need to measure time of each algorithm, I would like to ask for suggestions on what is the best way of doing that? Very important, program must be useful on any machine regardless to CPU power/memory.
Thank you.
