    Hello i get the Graphics from Graphics g= System.Drawing.Graphics.FromHwnd(button1.Handle); can i get the font information from this Graphics i was try to get a font by using GetTextFace api function but it return "system" it mean default font in OS and i was try to use SendMessage(button1.Handle, WM_GETFONT, 0, 0); bu it return me 0 also it is mean default font in OS I have known the cause of the problem, it due to FlatStyle property See this link http://blogs.msdn.com/b/michkap/archive/2008/09/26/8965526.aspx thanks

    I have an application that is running on .net 3.5 SP1 and that is supposed to check if .net 4 is installed. Actually, I'm more interested if MSBuild v4 is installed, which would boil down to a simple File.Exists(@"C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\msbuild.exe"); However, apart from the fragility of the 4.0.30319 Version (and the Windir, but that's easy to solve), I wonder if there is a more appropriate way, like an API?

    Hi, I desperately need a solution for this... I m using Blackberry JDE 5.0. In documentation it shows net.rim.device.api.util.MathUtilities.pow ( double double ) is added form 4.6. But i couldnt get pow function when i use Math.pow(). I need to get this value...float fSecondFactor=(float) (Math.pow(1+fRatePerMonth,fNumberofMonths)-1); Can anyone tell me how to achieve this...Plzz....

  • Android TimePicker hour field disappears after orientation change

    I am using a TimePicker under API 1.5 and when the orientation is changed on my device (a stock G1 running 1.6 - though NOT on the 1.5/1.6 emulator), the hour field goes blank. It still remembers the hour, it just doesn't show it. Is there any workaround for this?   • Invalid Label Error with JSON request

    I've read about this a lot and I just can't figure it out. It has nothing to do with MY code, it has to do with the feed or something because if I swap it with a Twitter feed it returns an Object object which is perfect. $.getJSON('http://rockbottom.nozzlmedia.com:8000/api/portland/?count=1&callback=?',function(json){ console.log(json) }); And i get an "invalid label" error. Any ideas?

    I have included gwt-html5-geolocation into my GWT project and was disappointed to find that it doubled up on my number of permutations compiled. Apparently if the browser does not support geolocation API then it falls back to use gears to find out your location. Is there a way to NOT compile a permutation for gears similar to the way you can tell GWT to only compile certain browser permutations? (the geolocation stuff is very much a nice-to-have and frankly if the client is running an old browser then I am happy not to get their location) Thanks

  • How can I determine which dependency would cause a C++ compilation unit to be rebuilt?

    I have a legacy C++ application with a deep graph of #includes. Changes to any header file often cause recompiles of seemingly unrelated source files. The application is built using a Visual Studio 2005 solution (sln) file. Can MSBUILD be invoked in a way that it reports which dependency(ies) are causing a source file to be recompiled? Is there any other tool that might be able to help? NOTE: I'm only looking for a tool to tell me why a file would be rebuilt, not some restrospective magic telling me why it was rebuilt.

  • Trouble with Canvas rendering in Safari/Opera

    Been banging my head against this one for a while, and figured I'd turn to the experts for some advice. I've made a jQuery snippet that grabs the values from a table and plots them in a line graph on a canvas element (also generated by the JS). All's well in Firefox and Chrome, but Safari and Opera aren't displaying the plotted points. I've reviewed in Firebug, Web Inspector debugger, JSLint, and checked the markup with the w3 validator, but still can't find anything glaringly obvious. Any chance one of you guys could help me out? I`we read that Silverlight 4.0 offers new Clipboard API, but there is only support for Unicode-text, not images. Is there a way to achieve this task without forcing user to manually print screen and than paste to other applicatons.

However the hair pulling was so much that you'd never add it to your resume (even though it might sound impressive) for fear that a future employer might think your the ideal candidate to "migrate", "integrate" or otherwise work with "Application X". Feel free to elaborate on why... (e.g. their APIs change monthly, there is/was no API, etc.) (made into a community wiki)
