  • Changing website favicon dynamically

    I have a web application that's branded according to the user that's currently logged in. I'd like to change the favicon of the page to be the logo of the private label, but I'm unable to find any code or any examples of how to do this. Has anybody successfully done this before? I'm picturing having a dozen icons in a folder, and the reference to which favicon.ico file to use is just generated dynamically along with the HTML page. Thoughts?

  • [C++] Is it possible to roll a significantly faster version of sqrt

    In an app I'm profiling, I found that in some scenarios this functions are able to take over 10% of total execution time. I've seen discussion over the years of faster sqrt implementations using sneaky floating-point trickery, but I don't know if such things are outdated on modern CPUs. MSVC++ 2008 compiler is being used, for reference... though I'd assume sqrt is not going to add much overhead though.

I have the below program IEnumerable<DataRow> lstDr = dt.AsEnumerable().Skip(4).Take(dt.Rows.Count); But the output is Enumeration yielded no results I am using c#3.0 Please help.

  • How do I overlay text on an image who's size is to be set?

    I am trying to make a bar chart using tables, which I have almost accomplished to my liking. The last step I want is text over my image which represents the bar. Here is the code I have thus far for building my little bar charts: $height = 50; //build length $width = 450; $multi = $brewAvg / 5; $width = $width * $multi; print " <tr > <td > $count. <a href=\"$breweryURL\"> $brewR</a> </td> <td > <img src=\"blueBar.png\" width=\"$width\" height=\"$height\"> </td> </tr> "; And this produces something like this: You can see in the code how I simply calculate the length of the bar based on a breweries rating. What I want to do next is have the rating number show on top of each breweries on the left hand side. How would I go about accomplishing this?     hi! i have 3 tables A,B and C. table A has column employee_name,id table B is the main table and has columns id,os version. table c has the columns id,package id and package version. i want to query the count of employee_name where the id of table a and c are matched with id of table b(which is the main table). i should also get the names of employees grouped by the os version they have and also the package version.

    Our office is running two different versions of MS Office (2007 and 2010). Is there a way for me to integrate Outlook into a C# project and have it work for both versions of Outlook? I have added a reference to Microsoft Outlook 14.0 Object Library, but for users of Outlook 2007, do they require version 12.0 or will the newer version work?

I am trying to use a C++ class in my cocoa project but I am getting build errors just creating the c++ header file. class SomeClass{ public: int count; } Expected '=', ',', ';', 'asm' or 'attribute' before 'SomeClass' in ..... If I remove all code from the header file, ?the cpp file builds without any errors and is included in the list of compiled sources...

    Contract.all(:conditions => ['voided == ?', 0]).size => 364 Contract.all(:conditions => ['voided != ?', 0]).size => 8 Contract.all.size => 441 the 3 numbers does not added up (364 + 8 != 441). What's the proper way write the :conditions to count the rows which the voided column value is NULL or equal to zero?

  • C++/CLI DLL on C# doesn't compile

    I wrote a wrapper DLL for some native c++ functions and compiled it in c++/CLI, then I added a reference to C# project, functions indicates there, but when I try compile project I get this error: "Additional information: Could not load file or assembly 'lib, Version=1.0.3742.39593, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. " What's the problem ? Thanks.
