  On my personal website, i would like to make it "pronounce" something I solved the "concept" problem, as in here, and on my desktop it works smoothly when launched from visual web developer. Creates a file, and then an embedded player in the page will play it. Perfect. So, I uploaded it on the server... I get this error 500: Server Error in '/sapi' Application. Access is denied. When I retrieve it, I want to convert it back to a List<List<Point>>. So I have the byte[], but I cannot figure out how to convert it. How should the de/serialization look like ?

• Unable to encode to iso-8859-1 encoding for some chars using Perl Encode module

  I have a HTML string in ISO-8859-1 encoding. I need to pass this string to HTML:Entities::decode_entities() for converting some of the HTML ASCII codes to respective chars. To so i am using a module HTML::Parser::Entities 3.65 but after decode_entities() operation my whole string changes to utf-8 string. This behavior seems fine as the documentation of the HTML::Parse. As i need this string back in ISO-8859-1 format for further processing so i have used Encode::encode("iso-8859-1",$str) to change the string back to ISO-8859-1 encoding. My results are fine excepts for some chars, a question mark is coming instead. One example is single quote ' ASCII code (’) Can anybody help me if there any limitation of Encode module? Any other pointer will also be helpful to solve the problem. Thanks

• Soft keyboard does not show when Activity starts

• Entity Framework in n-layered application - Lazy loading vs. Eager loading patterns

  Hi all. This questions doesn't let me sleep as it's since one year I'm trying to find a solution but... still nothing happened in my mind. Probably you can help me, because I think this is a very common issue. I've a n-layered application: presentation layer, business logic layer, model layer. Suppose for simplicity that my application contains, in the presentation layer, a form that allows a user to search for a customer. Now the user fills the filters through the UI and clicks a button. Something happens and the request arrives to presentation layer to a method like CustomerSearch(CustomerFilter myFilter). This business logic layer now keeps it simple: creates a query on the model and gets back results. Now the question: how do you face the problem of loading data? I mean business logic layer doesn't know that that particular method will be invoked just by that form. So I think that it doesn't know if the requesting form needs just the Customer objects back or the Customer objects with the linked Order entities. I try to explain better: our form just wants to list Customers searching by surname. It has nothing to do with orders. So the business logic query will be something like: (from c in ctx.CustomerSet where c.Name.Contains(strQry) select c).ToList(); now this is working correctly. Two days later your boss asks you to add a form that let you search for customers like the other and you need to show the total count of orders created by each customer. Now I'd like to reuse that query and add the piece of logic that attach (includes) orders and gets back that. How would you front this request? Here is the best (I think) idea I had since now. I'd like to hear from you: my CustomerSearch method in BLL doesn't create the query directly but passes through private extension methods that compose the ObjectQuery like: private ObjectQuery<Customer> SearchCustomers(this ObjectQuery<Customer> qry, CustomerFilter myFilter) and private ObjectQuery<Customer> IncludeOrders(this ObjectQuery<Customer> qry) but this doesn't convince me as it seems too complex. These pages are on different servers. • FakeTable with tSQLt remove triggers

  I have jsut started to use tSQLt and is about to test a trigger. I call the FakeTable procedure and do my test but the trigger is not executed. If don't use FakeTable the trigger is executed. That seems to be really bad and I canät find any info that there is any method to readded them. Then I thought the triggers are removed by FakeTable but I can recreate them after the call and did the following code in my test: DECLARE @createTrigger NVARCHAR(MAX); SELECT @createTrigger = OBJECT_DEFINITION(OBJECT_ID('MoveDataFromAToB')) EXEC tSQLt.FakeTable 'dbo.A'; EXEC(@createTrigger); I got the following error: "There is already an object named 'MoveDataFromAToB' in the database.{MoveDataFromAToB,14} (There was also a ROLLBACK ERROR -- The current transaction cannot be committed and cannot be rolled back to a savepoint. Roll back the entire transaction.{Private_RunTest,60})" Anyone that have any experience with tSQLt and know anyworkaround for this problem?

  I have a Textbox, a LinkButton and a RadioButtonList inside an UpdatePanel. When the button is clicked, the UpdatePanel shows matching items in the radiobuttonlist. This works fine, but I now need to make the same happen OnKeyDown on the TextBox. I'm trying to cancel all AJAX requests in progress but not having much luck. Firstly, on every keypress the UpdatePanel posts back, so only one letter can be changed at a time. Secondly, the textbox loses focus on postback. I need to show the list as normal, but OnKeyDown as well as when the button is pressed.   I have several sites that I want to link back to the main site which hosts the contact form (using contact form 7). I would like to capture the request parameter "site-url" on incoming links to the contact form. Then when the user submits the form, I would like to redirect them back to the site specified in the site-url. Any ideas if this is possible with contact form 7? I would also like to add a special field in the contact form which would insert the site-url into the email that i get so that I know which site they were referred from.

• How can I detect client-side when a page load is the result of an AJAX history point?

  I'm trying to prevent a "flicker" effect that is occurring on my ASP.NET page which occurs when a user navigates to the page via the browser back button after having navigated away from it. The reason for the flicker is that I'm using an Update Panel which has some content in there on the initial page-load. As a result, when the page is loaded via a back button that initial content is shown very briefly before it is updated with the correct History-aware data. In order to overcome this I am intending on having the updatepanel hidden (display: none) on inital page load and then show it as long as we don't have any history to deal with. The problem is that I can't find out what to check to determine if there's any history. I can see that the Sys.Application has a _history member but when I'm checking it on page init it is null each time. Does anyone know what I should be checking to determine if there's history to deal with for a page load client-side? And at what point to do it?

  Hi Everyone, I am brand new to QT and need to develop the Mancala game. Since I'm brand new to the QT environment, my plan it to keep things very simple. I will be using the "Push Button" widget as pieces on the game. Since two players play this game, my idea is to have to arrays of buttons. One array for player 1 and the other for player 2. My question is since I am using "Push Button" widgets, how can I group them to iterate through? I notice that QT has both the array and vector data types but I'm confused on how these data types can be used to "group" the buttons. Does anyone know of any sample code or tutorials to look at to learn more? Thanks for your time and any input provided.

• C# How to Present Such Question?

  greetings! i have a C# game program that im developing. it uses sound samples and winsock. when i test run the game most of the audio works fine but from time to time if it is multiple samples being played sequentially the application form shakes a little bit and then goes back to its old position. how do i go about debugging this or present it to you folks in a manageable manner? im sure no one is going to want the whole app code in fear of virus attacks. please guide me.. thanking you. EDIT: i have not been able to pin down any code section that produces this result. it just does and i cannot explain it. EDIT: no the x/y position are not changing. the window like shakes around a few pixels and then goes back to the position were it was before the shake.

  I have an AjaxControlToolkit accordion control that i'm trying to load panes at runtime. When I click a button inside a listview, it should add a new pane to the accordion control. Here is the code that adds the pane in the onitemcommand event within the listview var pane = new AccordionPane { ID = key }; pane.HeaderContainer.Controls.Add(new LiteralControl(label.Text)); pane.ContentContainer.Controls.Add(LoadControl("~/UserControls/Covers/" + e.CommandArgument + ".ascx")); accordion.Panes.Add(pane); And this will successfully show a webcontrol inside the accordion control. But when I click on another button in the listview, the accordion is reset and it only shows the new pane instead of appending a new pane. Is there any way to keep the previous pane visible across postbacks like this? By the way, each of the webcontrols that are loaded in the accordion have input fields that will need to be persisted across postbacks as well. thanks!

Now i want to implement 3 things once he clicks the button 'log out' he must be redirected to a page saying" logged out successfully " n even if clicks the back button in the browser, he should not be able to access. if the user leaves the homepage idle for a specific amount of time say 10minutes and then he tries to navigate after 10 mins a msg should display saying "Your Session has been expired login again" if given the url of homepage he shouldnt be able to access unless logged in. • ubuntu 10.04 logs itself out overnight

  Every night when I leave work, I lock the screen via ubuntu's "power" button in the top right hand panel. When I come to work in the morning, I'm greeted with the log-in screen.
