• How, why, when and where... creating a schema out of my jaxb annotated classes

  I have jaxb annotated classes and I want to unmarshal them and use the setSchema for validation. I have a two questions: Do I have to create the schema at "build time" using ant or can I just ad-hock create them for validation when needed. Where do you put your schema files? is there another reason but validation to create a schema if I prefer writing my class first?

• What would cause my Silverlight .xap to quadruple in size suddenly?

  I've been working on a Silverlight application. I just noticed that the .xap file is now four times as big as it was, what could have caused that? Here's some other info: there seems to now be many more language settings in the bin/Release directory I checked "Reduce size of .xap" in under Properties/Silverlight but that just brought it down from 1300 to 1200.   I'm playing with PhoneGap and emberjs (trying to build "proof of concept" mobile/HTML5 application based on ember.js). Ember.js itself works fine, but I haven't found any good way to "bind" PhoneGap events to views. For instance, I would like to handle backbutton event and remove a view on it. It would be nice to define behavior in view class and call document.addEventListener when instance of the view is appended and call document.removeEventListener when view instance removed.

I'm hoping for something like a sharepoint widget that I can plug into my web application that would allow me to tie in with sharepoint and download documents, make edits to them, and upload them back to sharepoint, with sharepoint handling all of the versioning and storage.   I was just about to test my app on a device when I ran into this problem, I'm getting this Linker Error.   I've been running STS 2.3.2 on a MacBook Pro for a few days now. I'm finding the performance to be significantly slower than any other build of Eclipse I've used. My question is why every time I power off my laptop and then re-open my XCode project and click 'Build and Go (Debug)', XCode recompiles EVERYTHING (even I have not modified any file).   Looking at the compiler options for cl.exe, it looks like when you use the /Fp parameter you have to use one of the /Y? parameters used as well. However, my project seems to build without that parameter as well. Is cl.exe recreating the pch file, ignoring it, or what? Thanks
