    Is there a widely supported video playback technology for web pages that provides an event/hook that can be captured from Javascript when playback reaches the end of the stream? My goal is to provide a web page that plays a video and then asks the user a question about the video once playback is complete. The question would be hidden or disabled until they have actually viewed the video.

    I have some tabs which have been created using Javascript and Mootools, my client wants the 'next button' at the bottom of the page to be disabled, until the tabs have been read(clicked). I am creating a simple check list form where my user would tick a check box if he finished that step. What I am planning to do is that, the script would prevent the form submission if there is an "unticked" checkbox and highlight it with a color.
