  • I Cannot retrieve ARPINSTALLLOCATION so we know where to install a new version

    - by Birkoff
    I am trying to retrieve the ARPINSTALLLOCATION during the installation of a Major Upgrade version of the software. Following this info I managed to set the ARPINSTALLLOCATION to the custom path. However, retrieving it again isn't working. I've tried many things over the past days but it keeps defaulting back to the default installation path instead of the custom one. <InstallUISequence> <AppSearch After="FindRelatedProducts"/> ... </InstallUISequence> <Property Id="WIXUI_INSTALLDIR" Value="APPROOTDIRECTORY"> <RegistrySearch Id="FindInstallLocation" Root="HKLM" Key="Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\[OLDERVERSIONBEINGUPGRADED]" Name="InstallLocation" Type="raw" /> </Property> In the custom WixUI_InstallDir UI I have this in the CustomInstallDirDlg <Control Id="Folder" Type="PathEdit" X="20" Y="90" Width="260" Height="18" Property="WIXUI_INSTALLDIR" Indirect="yes" /> The alternative install path is in the registry, but it isn't retrieved and shown in the control. What am I doing wrong here? -Birkoff

  • StringConverter with StandardValuesSupported and Autocompletion

    - by Marqus
    I want to develop a StringConverter with standard values, which after attaching it to a PropertyGrid will act like comboBox with autocompletion. The example below will give me a comboBox, but without the autocompletion - user have to expand it and choose manually one of the items. Is there a way to allow user to type the beginning of one of the options, so the combobox will automatically select the matching one? public class ConverterSample : System.ComponentModel.StringConverter { public override bool GetStandardValuesSupported(ITypeDescriptorContext context) { //true means show a combobox return true; } public override bool GetStandardValuesExclusive(ITypeDescriptorContext context) { return false; } public override TypeConverter.StandardValuesCollection GetStandardValues(ITypeDescriptorContext context) { return new StandardValuesCollection(new List<string>(){"Stack", "overflow", "rules"); } List returned by GetStandardValues has to be dynamic, so I can't use any enum there. I took above example from: http://www.codeproject.com/KB/cpp/dropdownproperties.aspx

  • MYSQL and the LIMIT clause

    - by Lizard
    I was wondering if adding a LIMIT 1 to a query would speed up the processing? For example... I have a query that will most of the time return 1 result, but will occasionaly return 10's, 100's or even 1000's of records. But I will only ever want the first record. Would the limit 1 speed things up or make no difference? I know I could use GROUP BY to return 1 result but that would just add more computation. Any thoughts gladly accepted! Thanks

  • Differences between query using LINQ and IQueryable interface directly?

    - by JohnMetta
    Using Entity Framework 4, and given: ObjectSet<Thing> AllThings = Context.CreateObjectSet<Thing>; public IQueryable<Thing> ByNameA(String name) { IQueryable<Thing> query = from o in AllThings where o.Name == name select o; return query; } public IQueryable<Thing> ByNameB(String name) { return AllThings.Where((o) => o.Name == name); } Both return IQueryable< instances, and thus the query doesn't hit the server until something like ToList() is called, right? Is it purely readability that is the difference, or are the using fundamentally different technologies on the back-end?

  • Why can I not add a set accessor to an overriden property?

    - by Svish
    In a base class I have this property: public virtual string Text { get { return text; } } I want to override that and return a different text, but I would also like to be able to set the text, so I did this: public override string Text { get { return differentText; } set { differentText = value; } } This however does not work. I get a red squiggly under set saying that I can not override because it does not have a set accessor. Why is this aproblem? What should I do?

  • Warshall Algorithm Logic - Stuck

    - by stan
    I am trying to use this logic to understand what is going on with the adjacency matrix, but i am massivley confused where it says about interspacing for a b c d ..... Could anyone explain what is going on here? Thank you (tagged as java as its the language this was demonstarted to us in, so if anyone posted any code examples they could see it was in that language) http://compprog.wordpress.com/2007/11/15/all-sources-shortest-path-the-floyd-warshall-algorithm/ Here is the code: for (k = 0; k < n; ++k) { for (i = 0; i < n; ++i) for (j = 0; j < n; ++j) /* If i and j are different nodes and if the paths between i and k and between k and j exist, do */ if ((dist[i][k] * dist[k][j] != 0) && (i != j)) /* See if you can't get a shorter path between i and j by interspacing k somewhere along the current path */ if ((dist[i][k] + dist[k][j] < dist[i][j]) || (dist[i][j] == 0)) dist[i][j] = dist[i][k] + dist[k][j];

  • How to compare a memory bits in C++?

    - by Trunet
    Hi, I need help with a memory bit comparison function. I bought a LED Matrix here with 4 x HT1632C chips and I'm using it on my arduino mega2560. There're no code available for this chipset(it's not the same as HT1632) and I'm writing on my own. I have a plot function that get x,y coordinates and a color and that pixel turn on. Only this is working perfectly. But I need more performance on my display so I tried to make a shadowRam variable that is a "copy" of my device memory. Before I plot anything on display it checks on shadowRam to see if it's really necessary to change that pixel. When I enabled this(getShadowRam) on plot function my display has some, just SOME(like 3 or 4 on entire display) ghost pixels(pixels that is not supposed to be turned on). If I just comment the prev_color if's on my plot function it works perfectly. Also, I'm cleaning my shadowRam array setting all matrix to zero. variables: #define BLACK 0 #define GREEN 1 #define RED 2 #define ORANGE 3 #define CHIP_MAX 8 byte shadowRam[63][CHIP_MAX-1] = {0}; getShadowRam function: byte HT1632C::getShadowRam(byte x, byte y) { byte addr, bitval, nChip; if (x>=32) { nChip = 3 + x/16 + (y>7?2:0); } else { nChip = 1 + x/16 + (y>7?2:0); } bitval = 8>>(y&3); x = x % 16; y = y % 8; addr = (x<<1) + (y>>2); if ((shadowRam[addr][nChip-1] & bitval) && (shadowRam[addr+32][nChip-1] & bitval)) { return ORANGE; } else if (shadowRam[addr][nChip-1] & bitval) { return GREEN; } else if (shadowRam[addr+32][nChip-1] & bitval) { return RED; } else { return BLACK; } } plot function: void HT1632C::plot (int x, int y, int color) { if (x<0 || x>X_MAX || y<0 || y>Y_MAX) return; if (color != BLACK && color != GREEN && color != RED && color != ORANGE) return; char addr, bitval; byte nChip; byte prev_color = HT1632C::getShadowRam(x,y); bitval = 8>>(y&3); if (x>=32) { nChip = 3 + x/16 + (y>7?2:0); } else { nChip = 1 + x/16 + (y>7?2:0); } x = x % 16; y = y % 8; addr = (x<<1) + (y>>2); switch(color) { case BLACK: if (prev_color != BLACK) { // compare with memory to only set if pixel is other color // clear the bit in both planes; shadowRam[addr][nChip-1] &= ~bitval; HT1632C::sendData(nChip, addr, shadowRam[addr][nChip-1]); shadowRam[addr+32][nChip-1] &= ~bitval; HT1632C::sendData(nChip, addr+32, shadowRam[addr+32][nChip-1]); } break; case GREEN: if (prev_color != GREEN) { // compare with memory to only set if pixel is other color // set the bit in the green plane and clear the bit in the red plane; shadowRam[addr][nChip-1] |= bitval; HT1632C::sendData(nChip, addr, shadowRam[addr][nChip-1]); shadowRam[addr+32][nChip-1] &= ~bitval; HT1632C::sendData(nChip, addr+32, shadowRam[addr+32][nChip-1]); } break; case RED: if (prev_color != RED) { // compare with memory to only set if pixel is other color // clear the bit in green plane and set the bit in the red plane; shadowRam[addr][nChip-1] &= ~bitval; HT1632C::sendData(nChip, addr, shadowRam[addr][nChip-1]); shadowRam[addr+32][nChip-1] |= bitval; HT1632C::sendData(nChip, addr+32, shadowRam[addr+32][nChip-1]); } break; case ORANGE: if (prev_color != ORANGE) { // compare with memory to only set if pixel is other color // set the bit in both the green and red planes; shadowRam[addr][nChip-1] |= bitval; HT1632C::sendData(nChip, addr, shadowRam[addr][nChip-1]); shadowRam[addr+32][nChip-1] |= bitval; HT1632C::sendData(nChip, addr+32, shadowRam[addr+32][nChip-1]); } break; } } If helps: The datasheet of board I'm using. On page 7 has the memory mapping I'm using. Also, I have a video of display working.

  • The Immerman-Szelepcsenyi Theorem

    - by Daniel Lorch
    In the Immerman-Szelepcsenyi Theorem, two algorithms are specified that use non-determinisim. There is a rather lengthy algorithm using "inductive counting", which determines the number of reachable configurations for a given non-deterministic turing machine. The algorithm looks like this: Let m_{i+1}=0 For all configurations C Let b=0, r=0 For all configurations D Guess a path from I to D in at most i steps If found Let r=r+1 If D=C or D goes to C in 1 step Let b=1 If r<m_i halt and reject Let m_{i+1}=m_{i+1}+b I is the starting configuration. m_i is the number of configurations reachable from the starting configuration in i steps. This algorithm only calculates the "next step", i.e. m_i+1 from m_i. This seems pretty reasonable, but since we have nondeterminisim, why don't we just write: Let m_i = 0 For all configurations C Guess a path from I to C in at most i steps If found m_i = m_i + 1 What is wrong with this algorithm? I am using nondeterminism to guess a path from I to C, and I verify reachability I am iterating through the list of ALL configurations, so I am sure to not miss any configuration I respect space bounds I can generate a certificate (the list of reachable configs) I believe I have a misunderstanding of the "power" of non-determinisim, but I can't figure out where to look next. I am stuck on this for quite a while and I would really appreciate any help.

  • django: ajax view structure

    - by zack
    I want to know the correct way to structure ajax views in django. say i do something like : def foo_json(request): if is.ajax(): # return JSON here and make it available as a resource at something like '/foo/data/'.. all is fine.. but if I point the browser at '/foo/data/' .. obviously I get an error (debug) like: app.views.foo_json didn't return an HttpResponse object. so... my question is: Whats the best way structure this kind of view? ..should I return an HTTP response code ..maybe 404 / 405 ... or something else? - not sure of the best way to handle this, any advice appreciated :)

  • ASP.NET MVC: post-redirect-get pattern, with only two overloaded action methods

    - by Rafi
    Is it possible to implement post-redirect-get pattern, with two overloaded action methods(One for GET action and the other for POST action) in ASP.NET MVC. In all of the MVC post-redirect-get pattern samples, I have seen three different action methods for the post-redirect-get process, each having different names. Is this really required? For Eg:(Does the code shown below, follows Post-Redirect-Get pattern?) public class SalaryTransferController : Controller { // // GET: /SalaryTransfer/ [HttpGet] public ActionResult Index(int id) { SalaryTransferIndexViewModel vm = new SalaryTransferIndexViewModel(id) { SelectedDivision = DivisionEnum.Contracting }; //Do some processing here return View(vm); } // // POST: /SalaryTransfer/ [HttpPost] public ActionResult Index(SalaryTransferIndexViewModel vm) { bool validationsuccess = false; //validate if (validationsuccess) return RedirectToAction("Index", new {id=1234 }); else return View(vm); } } Thank you for your responses.

  • Printing saved HTML to jsp keeps getting corrupted

    - by JWL
    I have a JAVA object where I save a HTML string value I call message. The saved data looks like the below, You have received a new <a href='' onclick='return popupRentalView('5282053859835904');'>Rental Request 5282053859835904</a>. Please view your open orders. But when printed to the JSP file and displayed at runtime using <%=pm.getMessage()%> or <%out.print(pm.getMessage());%> The actual html code comes out all messed up, You have received a new <a 5282053859835904');'="" onclick="return popupRentalView(" href="">Rental Request 5282053859835904</a> . Please view your open orders. Any thoughts on why the displayed string does not match the saved string? JAVA code for saving is note.setMessage("You have received a new <a href=\"\" onclick='return popupRentalView('" + requestId + "');'> Rental Request " + requestId + "</a>. Please view your open orders.");

  • Classloader issue (GWT)

    - by Banang
    I'm currently working on a gwt app, where the server uses a few third party libs. recently I discovered that one of these libs isn't being properly loaded when running my app in deployed mode, and I just can't seem to figure out what out is I'm doing wrong. In my build script I have the following classpath declaration: <path id="project.class.path"> <pathelement location="${war.dir}/WEB-INF/classes"/> <fileset dir="${war.dir}/WEB-INF/lib" includes="**/*.jar"/> </path> and in a later target I copy the jar I need to the right location: <copy todir="${war.dir}/WEB-INF/lib" file="someJar.jar" /> The project builds as it should, without any errors. The jars are copied to where the should be, and are included in the resulting war file. In development mode everything is working as it should, everything gets loaded properly and I hear no complaints. However, in the deployed version I get this thrown at me: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/commons/lang/exception/NestableRuntimeException java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass1(Native Method) java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(ClassLoader.java:621) java.security.SecureClassLoader.defineClass(SecureClassLoader.java:124) org.apache.catalina.loader.WebappClassLoader.findClassInternal(WebappClassLoader.java:2331) org.apache.catalina.loader.WebappClassLoader.findClass(WebappClassLoader.java:976) org.apache.catalina.loader.WebappClassLoader.loadClass(WebappClassLoader.java:1451) org.apache.catalina.loader.WebappClassLoader.loadClass(WebappClassLoader.java:1329) java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClassInternal(ClassLoader.java:320) my.package.server.util.SomeUtils.doSomethingFantastic(SomeUtils.java:84) Line 84 in SomeUtils is trying to instantiate a class from someJar.jar. I know very little about how the class loader for gwt works, and I sure could use a hand. Anyone got any ideas on how to solve this?

  • JavaScript in multiple files

    - by vijay.shad
    Hi, I Have created two JavaScript files.One file is "validators.js" and other is "UserValidations.js". Here is the code for validators.js function isBlankString(value) { if (value.replace(/\s/g, "") == "") { return true; } else { return false; } } In other js file I have defined function for validating user name like this. function validateUsername(element) { var username = element.value; if(value.replace(/\s/g, "") == ""){ //nothing to validate return; }else{ //validation logic } } Now as it is obvious i should have used isBlankString(value) method to check string length. But I am clue less about how can i use the function defined in other file?

  • net c# lock statement in data access layer

    - by Pedro Rivera
    I saw a code where they have the data access layer like this: public class CustomerDA{ private static readonly object _sync = new object(); private static readonly CustomerDA _mutex = new CustomerDA(); private CustomerDA(){ } public CustomerDA GetInstance(){ lock(_sync){ return _mutex; } } public DataSet GetCustomers(){ //database SELECT //return a DataSet } public int UpdateCustomer(some parameters){ //update some user } } public class CustomerBO{ public DataSet GetCustomers(){ //some bussiness logic return CustomerDA.GetInstance().GetCustomers(); } } I was using it, but start thinking... "and what if had to build a facebook like application where there are hundreds of thousands of concurrent users? would I be blocking each user from doing his things until the previous user ends his database stuff? and for the Update method, is it useful to LOCK THREADS in the app when database engines already manage concurrency at database server level?" Then I started to think about moving the lock to the GetCustomers and UpdateCustomer methods, but think again: "is it useful at all?"

  • Pass dynamic data to mvc controller with AJAX

    - by Yustme
    How can I pass dynamic data with an AJAX call to an MVC Controller? Controller: public JsonResult ApplyFilters(dynamic filters){ return null; } The AJAX call: $(':checkbox').click(function (event) { var serviceIds = $('input[type="checkbox"]:checked').map(function () { return $(this).val(); }).toArray(); //alert(serviceIds); $.ajax({ type: 'GET', url: '/home/ApplyFilters', data: JSON.stringify({ name: serviceIds }), contentType: 'application/json', success: function (data) { alert("succeeded"); }, error: function (err, data) { alert("Error " + err.responseText); } }); //return false; }); Ideally would be that the filters would contain the serviceIds as a property For example like this: filters.ServiceIds. I got another filter for a date range and that one would be added like so: filters.DateRange. And server side get the filter as a dynamic object in the ApplyFilters()

  • Locating SSL certificate, key and CA on server

    - by jovan
    Disclaimer: you don't need to know Node to answer this question but it would help. I have a Node server and I need to make it work with HTTPS. As I researched around the internet, I found that I have to do something like this: var fs = require('fs'); var credentials = { key: fs.readFileSync('path/to/ssl/private-key'), cert: fs.readFileSync('path/to/ssl/cert'), ca: fs.readFileSync('path/to/something/called/CA') }; var app = require('https').createServer(credentials, handler); I have several problems with this. First off, all the examples I found use completely different approaches. Some link to .pem files for both the certificate and key. I don't know what pem files are but I know my certificate is .crt and my key is .key. Some start off at the root folder and some seem to just have these .pem files in the application directory. I don't. Some use the ca thing too and some don't. This CA is supposed to be my domain's CA bundle according to some articles - but none explain where to find this file. In the ssl directory on my server I have one .crt file in the certs directory and one .key file in the keys directory, in addition to an empty csrs directory and an ssl.db file. So, where do I find these 3 files (key, cert, ca) and how do I link to them correctly?

My code is the following: iGearMainViewController.m - (IBAction)showScatterIpad:(id)sender { cogsetToPass = [NSMutableArray new]; arrayForChainringOne = [NSMutableArray new]; arrayForChainringTwo = [NSMutableArray new]; arrayForChainringThree = [NSMutableArray new]; //behavior according to number of chainrings switch (self.segmentedControl.selectedSegmentIndex) { case 0: // one chainring selected for (int i = 1; i<= [cassette.numCogs intValue]; i++) { if (i <10) { corona = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"cog0%d",i]; }else { corona = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"cog%d",i]; } float one = (wheelSize*[_oneChainring.text floatValue]/[[cassette valueForKey:corona]floatValue])/1000; float teeth = [[cassette valueForKey:corona] floatValue]; [cogsetToPass addObject:[NSNumber numberWithFloat:teeth]]; [arrayForChainringOne addObject:[NSNumber numberWithFloat:one]]; } break; case 1: // two chainrings selected for (int i = 1; i<= [cassette.numCogs intValue]; i++) { if (i <10) { corona = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"cog0%d",i]; }else { corona = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"cog%d",i]; } float one = (wheelSize*[_oneChainring.text floatValue]/[[cassette valueForKey:corona]floatValue])/1000; //NSLog(@" gearsForOneChainring = %@",[NSNumber numberWithFloat:one]); float two = (wheelSize*[_twoChainring.text floatValue]/[[cassette valueForKey:corona]floatValue])/1000; [cogsetToPass addObject:[NSNumber numberWithFloat:[[cassette valueForKey:corona]floatValue]]]; [arrayForChainringOne addObject:[NSNumber numberWithFloat:one]]; [arrayForChainringTwo addObject:[NSNumber numberWithFloat:two]]; } break; case 2: // three chainrings selected for (int i = 1; i<= [cassette.numCogs intValue]; i++) { if (i <10) { corona = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"cog0%d",i]; }else { corona = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"cog%d",i]; } float one = (wheelSize*[_oneChainring.text floatValue]/[[cassette valueForKey:corona]floatValue])/1000; float two = (wheelSize*[_twoChainring.text floatValue]/[[cassette valueForKey:corona]floatValue])/1000; float three = (wheelSize*[_threeChainring.text floatValue]/[[cassette valueForKey:corona]floatValue])/1000; [cogsetToPass addObject:[cassette valueForKey:corona]]; [arrayForChainringOne addObject:[NSNumber numberWithFloat:one]]; [arrayForChainringTwo addObject:[NSNumber numberWithFloat:two]]; [arrayForChainringThree addObject:[NSNumber numberWithFloat:three]]; } default: break; } ScatterIpadViewController *sivc = [[ScatterIpadViewController alloc]initWithNibName: @"ScatterIpadViewController" bundle:nil]; [sivc setModalTransitionStyle:UIModalTransitionStyleFlipHorizontal]; sivc.records = [cassetteNumCogs integerValue]; sivc.cogsetSelected = self.cogsetToPass; sivc.chainringOne = self.arrayForChainringOne; sivc.chainringThree = self.arrayForChainringThree; sivc.chainringTwo = self.arrayForChainringTwo; [self presentViewController:sivc animated:YES completion:nil]; } And the child view with the code to draw the plots: ScatterIpadViewController.m #pragma mark - CPTPlotDataSource methods - (NSUInteger)numberOfRecordsForPlot: (CPTPlot *)plot { return records; } - (NSNumber *)numberForPlot: (CPTPlot *)plot field:(NSUInteger)fieldEnum recordIndex:(NSUInteger)index{ switch (fieldEnum) { case CPTScatterPlotFieldX: return [NSNumber numberWithInt:index]; break; case CPTScatterPlotFieldY:{ if ([plot.identifier isEqual:@"one"]==YES) { //NSLog(@"chainringOne objectAtIndex:index = %@", [chainringOne objectAtIndex:index]); return [chainringOne objectAtIndex:index]; }else if ([plot.identifier isEqual:@"two"] == YES ){ //NSLog(@"chainringTwo objectAtIndex:index = %@", [chainringTwo objectAtIndex:index]); return [chainringTwo objectAtIndex:index]; }else if ([plot.identifier isEqual:@"three"] == YES){ //NSLog(@"chainringThree objectAtIndex:index = %@", [chainringThree objectAtIndex:index]); return [chainringThree objectAtIndex:index]; } default: break; } } return nil; } The error returned is an exception on trying to access an empty array. 2012-11-15 11:02:42.962 iGearScatter[3283:11603] Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSRangeException', reason: ' -[__NSArrayM objectAtIndex:]: index 0 beyond bounds for empty array' First throw call stack: (0x1989012 0x1696e7e 0x192b0b4 0x166cd 0x183f4 0x1bd39 0x179c0 0x194fb 0x199e1 0x43250 0x14b66 0x13ef0 0x13e89 0x3b5753 0x3b5b2f 0x3b5d54 0x3c35c9 0x5c0814 0x392594 0x39221c 0x394563 0x3103b6 0x310554 0x1e87d8 0x27b3014 0x27a37d5 0x192faf5 0x192ef44 0x192ee1b 0x29ea7e3 0x29ea668 0x2d265c 0x22dd 0x2205 0x1)* libc++abi.dylib: terminate called throwing an exception Thank you!

  • Python Error-Checking Standard Practice

    - by chaindriver
    Hi, I have a question regarding error checking in Python. Let's say I have a function that takes a file path as an input: def myFunction(filepath): infile = open(filepath) #etc etc... One possible precondition would be that the file should exist. There are a few possible ways to check for this precondition, and I'm just wondering what's the best way to do it. i) Check with an if-statement: if not os.path.exists(filepath): raise IOException('File does not exist: %s' % filepath) This is the way that I would usually do it, though the same IOException would be raised by Python if the file does not exist, even if I don't raise it. ii) Use assert to check for the precondition: assert os.path.exists(filepath), 'File does not exist: %s' % filepath Using asserts seems to be the "standard" way of checking for pre/postconditions, so I am tempted to use these. However, it is possible that these asserts are turned off when the -o flag is used during execution, which means that this check might potentially be turned off and that seems risky. iii) Don't handle the precondition at all This is because if filepath does not exist, there will be an exception generated anyway and the exception message is detailed enough for user to know that the file does not exist I'm just wondering which of the above is the standard practice that I should use for my codes.

  • is my function correct?

    - by sbsp
    This is part of an assignment so please dont post solutions, just point me in the right direction if possible? I am passing a pointer to a char array to my method, as well as a value for the actual height of the char array. I am looping through to see if all values are 0, if they are then return 0, esle return one The method is used as a test to see if i should free memory or not and set the pointer to null if it is full of 0's. The issue i am having is that the programme should have "some unfree" memory at the end, so i have no idea whether or not its doing it correctly - and gdb i struggle with immensley. Thanks for reading int shouldBeNull(char *charPointer, int sizeOfCharArray) { int isIn = 0; int i = 0; while(i < sizeOfCharArray){ if(*charPointer != '0'){ isIn = 1; break; } i++; charPointer++; } return isIn; }

  • Binary Tree operator overloading and recursion

    - by furious.snail
    I was wondering how to overload the == operator for a binary tree to compare if two trees have identical data at same nodes. So far this is what I have: bool TreeType::operator==(const TreeType& otherTree) const { if((root == NULL) && (otherTree.root == NULL)) return true; //two null trees are equal else if((root != NULL) && (otherTree.root != NULL)) { return((root-info == otherTree.root-info) && //this part doesn't actually do anything recursively... //(root-left == otherTree.root-left) && //(root-right == otherTree.root-right)) } else return false; //one tree is null the other is not } I have a similar function that takes two TreeNode pointers as parameters but I've been stuck on how to convert it to this function.
