  • Listing an application's activity and intent-filters?

    I am interested in activating another application's activity. I know from reading the Android SDK that it's probably better to do this with an implicit intent. However, this activity doesn't reside in an application I own, so I don't know the action and category and data flags on the intent-filter. How can I examine an Android applications metadata like the activity classes and the intent-filters for those activities (if declared in the manifest)? Thanks!

    I want to display list of objects from database, and on the same page have option to edit them. When submitting, I'd like to submit changes to all of them.     Just taking a simple example. We have a question on stackoverflow and while posting a question we want to validate title_of_question, description_of_question that they should be present. Now we have a another model tag having habtm relationshio with question model. How to validate that while saving the question.     I have a table view controller which doesn't let me manually scroll to the last row. It automatically scrolls slightly up so I could never select the last 2-3 rows. Anyone experienced this problem? Should I set a minimum height for the table view to solve this? If so how?

    Hi, I have a service that contains a map: static Map cargosMap = ['1':'item1','2':'item 2','3':'item 3'] that is returned via a method in the service: static Map getCargos() { [cargosMap] } A controller calls it like this: def mform = { Map cargos = empService.getCargos() [cargos:cargos] } In the gsp, I have the select: <g:select name="cg1" from="${cargos}" /> But I'm getting the exception: Error 500: Executing action ....caused exception: org.codehaus.groovy.runtime.typehandling.GroovyCastException: Cannot cast object ... with class 'java.util.ArrayList' to class 'java.util.Map' Any clues ?     Hello, Suppose we have 3 apps - appMain, app1 and app2. Applications 1 and 2 are protected, they have is_secure: true and everything works fine with sfDoctrineGuard plugin. A behavior I want to achieve is when a user is not authenticated, current application to forward him to another one, say appMain with defined module and action. Is that possible? Or can someone tell me where to dig about security mechanisms in symfony?

The only problem is that, for all the rest, I'm using a Postgres database. Is there a way to link The account controller to a User class defined by me?
