    Hi all, I use custom image for my navigation bar buttons using the following code, that allows me to make custom add button. I want to be able to do the same for the edit button item. We use security exits to provide secure way to connect to Queue managers , Queue , channel. IS there any change in security mechanism in latest version so that we can completely avoid using security exits ? This is what our requirement/goal in MQ security Queuemanagers should be only accessible with providing proper username and password (I know this is not possible in 6.0 without security exits ) A legal user after authenticating queuemanager connection should be able to access only his queue / channel.     MySQL has something like this: INSERT INTO visits (ip, hits) VALUES ('127.0.0.1', 1) ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE hits = hits + 1; As far as I'm know this feature doesn't exist in SQLite, what I want to know is if there is any way to archive the same effect without having to execute two queries. Also, if this is not possible, what do you prefer: SELECT + (INSERT or UPDATE) or UPDATE (+ INSERT if UPDATE fails)

  • How to use Application Verifier to find memory leaks

    I want to find memory leaks in my application using standard utilities. Previously I used my own memory allocator, but other people (yes, you Neil) suggested to use Microsoft's Application Verifier, but I can't seem to get it to report my leaks. I have the following simple application: #include <iostream> #include <conio.h> class X { public: X::X() : m_value(123) {} private: int m_value; }; void main() { X *p1 = 0; X *p2 = 0; X *p3 = 0; p1 = new X(); p2 = new X(); p3 = new X(); delete p1; delete p3; } This test clearly contains a memory leak: p2 is new'd but not deleted. I build the executable using the following command lines: cl /c /EHsc /Zi /Od /MDd test.cpp link /debug test.obj I downloaded Application Verifier (4.0.0665) and enabled all checks. If I now run my test application I can see a log of it in Application Verifier, but I don't see the memory leak. Questions: Why doesn't Application Verifier report a leak? Or isn't Application Verifier really intended to find leaks? If it isn't which other tools are available to clearly report leaks at the end of the application (i.e. not by taking regular snapshots and comparing them since this is not possible in an application taking 1GB or more), including the call stack of the place of allocation (so not the simple leak reporting at the end of the CRT) If I don't find a decent utility, I still have to rely on my own memory manager (which does it perfectly).

    I'm receiving this error message: Cannot open database \"Northwind\" requested by the login. The login failed.\r\nLogin failed for user 'Mike\Mike Simpson' When i try to add the user, which is me. Then sql server says Msg 15063, Level 16, State 1, Line 1 The login already has an account under a different user name. HEre is my connection string: "Data Source=Localhost;Initial Catalog=Northwind;Integrated Security=True" I'm using SSMS not SQL Server express I don't know what else I should do. This application used to work before i zipped it up. Thanks!

  • Rewind request body stream

    I am re-implementing a request logger as Owin Middleware which logs the request url and body of all incoming requests. I am able to read the body, but if I do the body parameter in my controller is null. I'm guessing it's null because the stream position is at the end so there is nothing left to read when it tries to deserialize the body. I had a similar issue in a previous version of Web API but was able to set the Stream position back to 0. This particular stream throws a This stream does not support seek operations exception. In the most recent version of Web API 2.0 I could call Request.HttpContent.ReadAsStringAsync()inside my request logger, and the body would still arrive to the controller in tact. In IE it works fine, and the server is returning json. Is this a permissions problem? Do I need to use JSONP?

And then if I go into the .RPT file, and change over the datasource to the training server, and try to open it again, it works fine. Why doesn't the code above overwrite the .RPT files datasource? How can I avoid having to open up each .RPT and change the datasource when migrating reports from server to server? Is there a setting in the .RPT file I'm missing or something?

    I am using gesture detector to catch "flings" and using a view flipper to change the screen when this happens. Some of my child views contain list views. The the gesture detector wont recognize a swipe if you swipe on the list view. But it will recognize it if it is onTop of TextView's or ImageView's. Is there a way to implement it so that it will recognize the swipes even if they are on top of another view that has a ClickListener?

    I'm getting the following error in Xcode 3.2.1 on Snow Leopard 10.6.2 whenever I try to compile any iPhone application generated by Appcelerator's Titanium . However , the build error only appears when I select iPhone simulator on the architecture menu , and if I select iPhone device , I am able to run the app on my device . Further , the iPhone simulator launches successfully and executes the program directly from the Titanium environment , which uses Xcode to build . What exactly I want to do is in the datagridtemplatecolumn for others I want to display the usernames that are not in CurrentUsername, but they have the same program Id as the CurrentUsername. Please do let me know if there is another way that i can make this work, instead of using a dependencyproperty, althouht for testing I did put a textblock below datagrid, and it works perfectly fine.. Help!

    All, I am trying to make the width of the sharepoint 2010 web site to be within a fixed width and centered across the screen. I would like for it to be 800px and centered. When i do this, it seems like it starts to work until the ribbion bar renters.   • Error Connecting to Oracle Database from Pentaho Report Designer

    Hi all, I am new to Pentaho, and I am struggling to set up a new database connection. I am trying to connect to an Oracle 10g database, but whenever I test the connection, I get the below error. It doesn't really seem to list any specific error message so I'm not really sure what to do or where to go from this point. I placed ojdbc jar's in my tomcat lib folder, but maybe there is another place those should go. Any help/hints would be greatly appreciated. I have a use case where an entity called Artifact has a reflexive many-to-many relation with itself, and the join table is quite large (1 million lines). As a result, the HQL query performed by one of the methods in my DAO takes a long time. Any advice on how to optimize this and still use HQL ?     Hello, I'm having a problem including a different layout through the include tag in the android layout xml file. When specifing the layout reference ( @layout/... ), i'm getting a InflateException in the Eclipse ADT with the following error: InflateException: You must specifiy a valid layout reference.     Hi, I am using the HtmlHelper to create a checkbox in my view like so: <%= Html.CheckBoxFor(model = model.SeatOnly, new { checked = "checked" })% However, an error is being thrown as checked is a reserved keyword. I have found a couple of people saying that you must use the 'reserved word prefix' and simply put an uderscore in front of the attribute like so: <%= Html.CheckBoxFor(model = model.SeatOnly, new { _checked = "checked" })% This does not generate an error but in the generated html the attribute is actually '_checked' which means it doesn't work (if I use firebug and remove the underscore the attribute then takes effect). Does anyone know a way around this while still using CheckBoxFor? Thanks

    I have a 64-bit version of llvm-gcc, but I want to be able to build both 32-bit and 64-bit binaries. Is there a flag for this?     Hi, on ScottGu's Blog is an Example how to use MVC2 Custom Validation with EF4: http://weblogs.asp.net/scottgu/archive/2010/01/15/asp-net-mvc-2-model-validation.aspx So here the Problem: When the Designer in VS2010 creates the Objects for the DB, along to the example you have to add [MetadataType(typeof(Person_validation))] Annotation to that class. But when i change anything in the Designer all these Annotations are lost. Is it possible to keep self made changes to the edmx file, or is there any better way of applying System.ComponentModel.DataAnnotations to the generated Entities? Thanks.
