• WIX installer with Custom Actions: "built by a runtime newer than the currently loaded runtime and cannot be loaded."

  I have a WIX installer that executes Custom Actions over the course of install. When I run the WIX installer, and it encounters its first Custom Action, the installer fails out, and I receive an error in the MSI log as follows: Action start 12:03:53: LoadBCAConfigDefaults. The wordage of that error seems to indicate something like an incorrectly referenced .NET framework or something (I'm targeting 3.5 in both my custom actions and its dependencies), but I can't figure out where to make a change to address this problem. Any ideas? .... The web service is running on Glassfish and is soap 1.1, I've tried using all the packaged wcf bindings but have not been able to get them to work. I started down the path of using a MessageInspector, and wrote one but then realized there must be a better way, surely WCF provides some way to insert saml 2.0 assertions. I've made the most progress writing a custom binding - i've been able to get the timestamp and signature nodes in the soap header, but cannot for the life of me figure out the saml assertion. • Automatically extracting inline XSD from WSDL into XSD file(s)

  I am using a third party Web Service whose definition and implementation are beyond my control. This web service will change in the future. The Web Service should be used to generate an XML file which contains some of the same data (represented by the same XSD types) as the Web Service plus some extra information generated by the program. My approach: create my own XSD referring to the XSD definitions of the WSDL of the called web service (This XSD also includes XSD types for the extra information obviously.) use a Java XML databinding framework (like ADB or JiXB) to generate the databinding classes from my own XSD file from step 1 use a Java SOAP framework (like Axis2 or CXF) with the same databinding framework to generate the databinding classes from the WSDL (This would enable me to use the objects retrieved by the web service directly in the generation of the XML.) The XSD types I am going to use in my own XSD file, but are defined in the WSDL, are subject to change. Whenever they change, I would like to automatically process the XSD and WSDL databinding again. (If the change is significant enough, this might trigger some development effort.(But usually not.)) My problem: In step 1 I need an XSD referring to the same types as used by the Web Service. The WSDL is referring to another WSDL, which is referring to another WSDL etc. Eventually there is an WSDL with the needed inline XSD types. As far as I know there is no way to directly reference the inline XSD types of a WSDL from an XSD. The approach I would think most viable, is to include an extra step in the automatic processing (before the databinding) that extracts the inline XSD from the WSDL into other XSD file(s). These other XSD file(s) can then be referred to by my own XSD file. Things I'd like to avoid: Manually copy pasting the inline XSD into an XSD file (I am looking for an automatic process.) Any manual steps.(Like the determining the WSDL that contains the inline types manually.(The location of that WSDL does change as well.)) Using xsd:any in my own XSD. I would like my own XSD file to be correct. Using a non-Java technology(like .NET) Huge amounts of implementation (but hints on how you would implement such an extraction are welcome anyway) PS: I found some similar questions, but they all had responses like: WTH would you want to do that? That is the reason for my rather large background story.

• Intellij Community can't use http proxy for Maven

  I have Intellij IDEA Community installed on a Linux box that needs to use an authenticated proxy to get to the Internet. I have a system-wide proxy on the box that works, and I have the proxy configured in ~/.m2/settings.xml. Maven correctly uses the proxy when I run try it from the command-line. I have the same proxy configured within Intellij and it gives me the plugins listing correctly. But when I try to sync with the Maven repository withing Intellij I keep getting this: [WARNING] Unable to get resource 'org.codehaus.mojo:hibernate3-maven-plugin:pom:2.2' from repository restlet (http://maven.restlet.org): Authorization failed: Not authorized by proxy. I went to Settings-Maven and put in the proxy info as properties and that didn't work. I can see by looking at those settings that Intellij is reading my ~./m2/settings.xml fine because it knows where my local repo is (it's in a non-standard place). Anyone know how I can get this working?

I have the configuration file, reports.xml: /u355/app/ptelrep/tomcat50-jwsdp/conf/Catalina/localhost/reports.xml I have a JSP file which has link points to the symbolic link: onMouseOver="toggleDiv('div1',1)" onMouseOut="toggleDiv('div1',0)"Detail Usage I restarted the tomcat but the symlink is not working. When I change the symlink to a point to the original file, it works. Can anyone know what the problem is?

For 24 versions it has been working perfectly - now, on version 25 I get the following error once the application has installed and it launches: If I test a previous deployment on the same machine, it works. Where can I even begin to look to find the cause of this error? I already checked the windows event logs - nothing. EDIT: I noticed that while the dialog is displayed, a temporary xml file 'WER561D.tmp.WERInternalMetadata.xml' is generated in my temp folder. • Webservice Jira gives: Error: No such operation 'getIssuesFromJqlSearch' from Jira 4.01

  When I use the Webservice of Jira, I need to use the method getIssuesFromJqlSearch to describe a certain (JQL) Query. But it returns me "No such operation 'getIssuesFromJqlSearch'". Is this method in Jira 4.01 not implemented yet? BTW: I need a method to get all Issues from one specific project, without creating filters first. This was my first way to find a workaround, because there is no function getIssuesFromProject. If there is no way to fix the problem with the JQL method, I try to take RSS XML View with the URL jql statement like SearchRequest.xml?jqlQuery=project+%3D+Testproject&tempMax=1000. But this is not my favorite.

  I am using a PreferenceActivity to let the user set some values. I am feeding it the xml file with the defined preferences. I have set all the android:defaultValue="" for them. When I start my application, I need the preferences, or if they are not set yet manually, I want the default values: SharedPreferences prefs = PreferenceManager.getDefaultSharedPreferences(this); boolean value = prefs.getBoolean("key"), false); However, when android:defaultValue="true" I still get false. So, it looks like the defaultValues set in the XML are not used anywhere but when initializing the preferences-screen. I don't want to hardcode the default values in the getBoolean() method. So, is there a way get the default-values with only defining these in 1 place?

  We are hosting an application on SUN JVM that handles a lot of XML parsing using Jaxb. The application is parsing the XML fine using JRockit 5 but when using the SUN JVM the JVM spends a majority of it’s time on native methods such as java-lang.System.arraycopy, java.lang.String.intern and java.lang.ClassLoader.getPackage. The CPU load is approx. 60% higher when using SUN JVM compared with JRockit. Even stranger is that when we only run the application server using one core (in WMWare) the problem disappears. • Delete Nodes + attributes that match Xpath except specific attributes

  I'm trying to find the best (efficient) way of doing this. I have a medium sized XML document. Depending on specific settings certain portions of it need to be filtered out for security reasons. I'll be doing this in XSLT as it's configurable and no code should need changing. I've looked around, but not getting much luck on it. For example: I have the following XPath: //*[@root='2.16.840.1.113883.3.51.1.1.6.1'] Whicrooth gives me all nodes with a root attribute equal to a specific OID. In these nodes I want to have all attributes except for a few (ex. foo and bar) erased, and then having another attribute added (ex. reason) I also need to have multiple XPath expressions that can be ran to zero down on a specific node and clear it's contents out in a similar fashion, with respect to nodes with specific attributes. • How do I get spring to inject my EntityManager?

  I'm following the guide here, but when the DAO executes, the EntityManager is null. I've tried a number of fixes I found in the comments on the guide, on various forums, and here (including this), to no avail. No matter what I seem to do the EntityManager remains null.   Hi, I am using sql server integration services(SSIS) in sql server business intelligent devolopment studio. I need to do a task --that is. I have to read from a source database and put it into a destination flat file.But the same time the source databse should be configurable. That means in the Oledbconnection manager connection string should change dynamically.this connection string should be taking from a configuration/xml/flat file. I read that i can use varaibles and expressions to change the connection string dynamically.But how do i read connection string value from a config/xml/flat file and set the variable? This part i am unable to do.Or is this the right way to achieve this.. Can we add web.config files to ssis project.? I am new to SSIs. Please provide some help with examles etc. and this is quiet urgent for me. Thanks SNA.

I am planning to develop a small application which displays my bank account details(like Mint.com) where I can customize the display of my own. I want to know how and where to start. Where these OFX API's are available? Are they free or we need to pay and get access to those API? What is data format ( xml, xml/atom, json) ? Any article or document to understand this requirement and start developing? Any open source software where I can download the code and customize it? FYI : I am working on C#.Net. • shell_exec escaping quotes in php for Twitter API

  I'm (lazily) using shell_exec() to execute a Twitter API Call. shell_exec('curl -u user:password -d "id=3191321" http://api.twitter.com/1/twitterapi/twitterlist/members.xml'); That works fine when I authenticate correctly and put in a number for the id. But when I try to put in a variable ($id), it screws up. $addtolist = shell_exec('curl -u pxlist:Weekend1 -d "id='.$id.'" http://twitter.com/username/twitterlist/members.xml'); I tried flipping the quote types $addtolist = shell_exec("curl -u pxlist:Weekend1 -d 'id=$id' http://twitter.com/username/twitterlist/members.xml"); I tried using double quotes and escaping them $addtolist = shell_exec("curl -u pxlist:Weekend1 -d \"id=$id\" http://twitter.com/username/twitterlist/members.xml"); None of them worked. What am I doing wrong?
