    Hi All, I have a textbox like below <h:inputText value="#{bean.strQuantite}"> <a4j:support actionListener="#{tabacListCommandeAltadisDetailBean.actionListenerQuantity}" event="onchange" /> </h:inputText> I input some value into the textbox above and keep the caret inside the textbox. After that, when I continue to click a other button, the event onchange of the input text above is fired. I want to when clicking the button, the click event is fired before. Can anyone help me to solve this problem ?

    How can i change the templating of a form in sfDoctrineGuardPlugin? That is, I need to change the html (class, id) of the input elements (username, password) of a login form provided by sfDoctrineGuardPlugin.     In IIS 7.5, I'm trying to rewrite a Url such as /about to /content.asp?p=about, with support for QueryString-s, so if the orginal Url was /about?x=y, it should rewrite to /content.asp?p=about&x=y. The basic rewriting is now working, but when I'm trying to add a QueryString it doesn't work. Tried both /about?x=y and /about&x=y.     I'm in the process of making a little experiment, it grabs a YouTube page, and returns the highest quality MP4 link, then plays this in a HTML 5 Video element. Now I was using PHP with cURL to get the URL content (YouTube), but that only works on my local server (MP4 link is locked to IP address). I can't think of any other way to get the page content due to cross domain rules except a Java applet. So I've built a Java applet that should return the content of a URL.     i am exploring the option of whether DoCmd.TransferText will do what i need, and it seems like it wont. i need to insert data if it does not exist and update it if it does exist i am planning to read a text file line by line like this: Dim intFile As Integer Dim strLine As String intFile = FreeFile() Open myFile For Input As #intFile Line Input #intFile, strLine Close #intFile i guess each individual line will be a record. it will probably be comma separated and some fields will have a " text qualifier because within the field itself i will have commas my question is how would i read a comma delimited text file that has double quotes sometimes as text qualifiers into a table in access?

  • Best practices for parsing HTML from Wikipedia for iPhone viewing?

    I am building an iPhone Wikipeida game app, that requires modifying the default Wiki HTML a little bit (mostly simplifying the page). So far I am directly downloading the HTML output from en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Article_Foo to a python Google App Engine, and then modify its CSS and HTML structure, cache it, and finally output to iPhone. It works but I find this method quite tedious, there must be a better method? Please note that I use App Engine not just for parsing the Wiki, but the game also requires it to keep the stores...etc, hence not a overkill. Also, I would prefer doing all the work with python on App Engine, to keep the iPhone client as thin and mobile as possible (XML on iPhone is a big no fun) Thanks a lot.

    I'm not getting the results I want for a query I'm writing in LINQ using the following: var config = (from ic in repository.Fetch() join oc in repository.Fetch() on ic.Slot equals oc.Slot where ic.Description == "Input" && oc.Description == "Output" select new Config { InputOid = ic.Oid, OutputOid = oc.Oid }).Distinct(); The following SQL returns 53 rows (which is correct), but the above LINQ returns 96 rows: SELECT DISTINCT ic.Oid AS InputOid, oc.Oid AS OutputOid FROM dbo.Config AS ic INNER JOIN dbo.Config AS oc ON ic.Slot = oc.Slot WHERE ic.Description = 'Input' AND oc.Description = 'Output' How would I replicate the above SQL in a LINQ query? Update: I don't think it matters, but I'm working with LINQ to Entities 4.0.

    Having a really frustrating time with Firefox and the back button...given this simple ASP form: <head> <title>Form 1</title> </head> <body> <form action="form2.asp" method="post"> Enter some text:<input type="text" name="thetext" id="thetext"> <input type="submit" id="submit" name="submit"> </form> </body> </html> Firefox (3.6.3) will occasionally clear the value of the text box after hitting submit and then the back button. It's unpredictable when it will strike. And it will work for dozens to hundreds of times, and then all of a sudden it stops working. Any ideas where I should start?

  • How can i initialize an array without knowing it size?

    I have a situation where i have to apply a criteria on an input array and reuturn another array as output which will have smaller size based upon the filtering criteria. Now problem is i do not know the size of filtered results, so i can not initialize the array with specific value. And i do not want it to be large size will null values because i am using array.length; later on. One way is to first loop the original input array and set a counter, and then make another loop with that counter length and initialize and fill this array[]. But is there anyway to do the job in just one loop?

    Hi Is it possible to have to make a html for helper in asp.net mvc 2.0 have a default value of "empty string" Like if I do this Html.TextBoxFor( u => u.ProductName) would render to <input id ="ProductName" name="ProdcutName" type="text" value="Jim" /> Now I don't want the textbox to display jim. I want it to display nothing. <input id ="ProductName" name="ProdcutName" type="text" value="" /> I tried to do this Html.TextBoxFor( u => u.ProductName, new { @value = " "}) but that seems to do nothing. So how can I do this. I hope you can do something like this otherwise I think these new helpers have a great flaw since now I need to use like javascript to remove them since I hardly ever want a default value in the textbox especially when I have a label right beside the textbox saying what it is.

    Hi, I am stuck with this mystery regarding for loop. int abc[3], i, j; for(j=0; j<3; j++); printf("%d\n", j); abc[j] = abc[j] + 3; printf("%d \n", j); Output: 3 6 Output should have been 3,3 as I've not changed value of j. Adding 3 to the jth value of abc has resulted in change of value of j by 3. This happens only while exiting from a for loop and then trying to change the value of abc[j]. Maybe I am missing something pretty obvious. Any help would be much appreciated.

Suppose my input sentence is: "I am a girl and I live in Nepal." and I need to put curly braces according to [12, 15], [2, 4], [23, 25] These indexes are corresponding to the words "am", "and" and "in" respectively. The required output should be: "I {am} a girl {and} I live {in} Nepal." I have tried using substring but after it replaces first word, it then shifts the characters by two indexes and that is the problem I am having. Can anyone provide me solution to get the required output?

    I'm new to PHP sessions and I've come across the following error: Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cookie - headers already sent by (output started at somefile:someline). As well as this one: Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent by (output started at somefile:someline). The session_start(); is the very first thing in all of my code. I'm not sure what the problem is. It gave me line numbers but all I do on those lines is start the session. Also - I have a portion of code whose POST action is another PHP page. How can I set a $_SESSION variable pertaining to this page within that action page?

Why so and how to overcome this? Thanks in advance
