  Good morning ! This is a simple one I believe, but I am still a noob :) I am trying to find all folders with a certain name. I am able to do this with the command find /path/to/look/in/ -type d | grep .texturedata The output gives me lots of folders like this : /path/to/look/in/.texturedata/v037/animBMP But I would like it to stop at .texturedata : /path/to/look/in/.texturedata/ I have hundreds of these paths and would like to lock them down by piping the output of grep into chmod 000 I was given a command with the argument -dpe once, but I have no idea what it does and the Internet has not be able to help me determine it's usage Thanks you very much for your help !

I am programming a program to search the name from the list and I need to find them if the keyword is not in front of the names (that's what I mean non-prefix) e.g. if I my list is the music instruments and I type "guit" to the search textbox.   I've got an SSIS project where I am constructing an SQL command based on some variables. I'm constructing the command in a script task, and want to output the constructed SQL to the 'Execution Results' window. I am trying to do this using a FireInformation line from inside my script as follows: Dts.Events.FireInformation(99, "test", "Make this event appear!", "", 0, true); However, in the script editor when editing ScriptMain.cs, that line is underlined in red, and on mouseover, I get the following message: Error: The best overloaded method match for 'Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.ScriptTask.EventsObjectWrapper.FireInformation(int, string, string, string, int, ref bool') has some invalid arguments As a result, my script does not compile and I cannot execute it. Any idea what I'm doing wrong here, or what I need to change to be able to see the values of my variables at this point in the Execution output?

• Get binary data from audio impulses

  I have IR sensor which have TRS plug and I can record my remotes signals into audio. Now I want to control my computer with TV remote, but I don't have any clue how to compare audio input with pre-recorded audio. But after I realized that these audio waves contains only some kind data (binary) I can turn these into binary or hex, so it is much easier to compare. Waves look just like this: http://i.imgur.com/lCIyl.png And this: ttp://i.imgur.com/goJ6d.png These are records of "OK" button, sometimes there are some impulses on right channel too and I don't know why, it seems like connections in sensor are damaged maybe. Ok thats not matter, anyway I need help with python program which read these impulses and turn these into binary, in realtime from audio input(mic). I know it's sounds like "Do it for me, while I enjoy my life", but I don't have experiences with sound transforming/reading... I've looking for python examples for recording and reading audio, but unsuccessfully.

  Hello, Well, this must be very simple to do for most of you, but I have no idea how to accomplish this. I have a set of tabs and on top of the tabs is a set of checkboxes ; each checkbox 'corresponds' to a tab. What I need is to be able to activate/deactivate each checkbox and have its corresponding tab (and the tab's content) hide/display. • looking for RTF template system with simple DSL

  Is there any framework that fills up rtf document with data? The idea is to make business people/testers change the document in MsWord and than generate reports from that. The problem is with tables, Id need to create some special DSL for handling tables and showing hidding text/page parts. Id rather not do that and use some existing solution. I tried to search for something, but I only found frameworks that can produce rtf output from xml input and i want to use rtf as input and output.

• VC++ - Asynchronous Thread

  I am working on VC++ project, in that my application process a file from input path and generates 3 output "*.DAT" files in the destination path. I will FTP these DAT file to the destination server. After FTP, I need to delete only two output .DAT files the folder. I am able to delete those files, because there one Asynchronous thread running behind the process. Since the thread is running, while deleting it says, "Cannot delete, the file is used by another person". I need to stop that thread and delete the files. Multiple files can also be taken from the input path to process. Please help me in resolving this issue. Its very high priority issue for me. Please help me ASAP.

• How to pass a variable inside a jquery fonction $.each($("abc")...?

  I'm trying to iterate a bunch of SELECT OPTION html drop-down fields and from the ones that are NOT empty, take the values and add a hidden field for a PAYPAL shopping cart. My problem is that for some reason, the variable "curitem" is not passed inside the each function and I can't add the hidden field like they should. All I get is "NaN" or "undefined". What PAYPAL expect is : item_name_1, item_name_2, etc. All numbers must iterate by +1. How can I do this?   I'm writing a script that will allow a user to input a string that is a math statement, to then be evaluated. I however have hit a roadblock. I cannot figure out how, using preg_match, to dissallow statements that have variables in them. Using this, $calc = create_function("", "return (" . $string . ");" ); $calc();, allows users to input a string that will be evaluated, but it crashes whenever something like echo 'foo'; is put in place of the variable $string.

• Promoting letters in a string to the next letter in java

  I'm having issues figuring out how to get my code to increment the string that is given by user input so that when a user chooses to replace a letter like z it would go to a, b to c ect. The catch is I have to do this without using boolean. I am supposed to get this by using arithmetics to get the promotion from z to a from the users input. Plus must be only lower case letters from a-z. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

  I have a table (3x3) that counts "< /form" as space in IE. The code for 1 td looks like: <style type="text/css"> table { border-width: 0px; border-collapse: collapse; padding: 0px; } td, th { padding: 0px; } </style> <table><tr><td><form name="form" action="index.php" method="post"><input type="hidden" name="from" value="a" /><input type="image" src="pic1.gif" alt="1" name="submit" value="submit" /></form></td> There is no spaces anywhere outside the tags. Inside the td, there is a form, with a hidden field and a picture. Firefox shows only the picture, but IE has spaces between the rows. I did a little debugging, and found it was from the /form. Does anyone know a fix to this?

• Calling a webservice synchronously from a Silverlight 3 application?

  I am trying to reuse some .NET code that performs some calls to a data-access-layer type service. I have managed to package up both the input to the method and the output from the method, but unfortunately the service is called from inside code that I really don't want to rewrite in order to be asynchronous. Unfortunately, the webservice code generated in Silverlight only produces asynchronous methods, so I was wondering if anyone had working code that managed to work around this? I tried the recipe found here: The Easy Way To Synchronously Call WCF Services In Silverlight, but unfortunately it times out and never completes the call. Or rather, what seems to happen is that the completed event handler is called, but only after the method returns. I am suspecting that the event handler is called from a dispatcher or similar, and since I'm blocking the main thread here, it never completes until the code is actually back into the GUI loop. Or something like that. Does anyone know: ... if it is possible at all in Silverlight 3 ... what I have done wrong above?

I am trying to get the following output until a certain condition is met. test_1.jpg test_2.jpg .. test_50.jpg The solution (if you could remotely call it that) that I have is fileCount = 0 while (os.path.exists(dstPath)): fileCount += 1 parts = os.path.splitext(dstPath) dstPath = "%s_%d%s" % (parts[0], fileCount, parts[1]) however...this produces the following output. test_1.jpg test_1_2.jpg test_1_2_3.jpg .....etc The Question: How do I get change the number in its current place (without appending numbers to the end)?   I have two radio buttons each with a unique ID. When one is clicked, I would like to add $10 to a total. When the other is clicked, we go back to the original total price. My jquery looks like this: function check_ceu() { var price = <%= conference_price %>; if($('#ceu_yes').is(':checked')){ $('#total').val(parseFloat(price) + 10) } else{ $('#total').val(price) } } I have this function bound to document.ready (for page refreshes) and also the onchange handler of the radio buttons. In FF and Chrome this works fine. In IE, when the radio button with ID of "ceu_yes" is checked nothing happens, then when clicking back to the other radio button, 10 is added. So in essence, IE has the checkbox functionality reversed. Below is my code for the buttons: <input type="radio" name="ceu" id="ceu_yes" value="1" onchange="check_ceu()" /> $10 <input type="radio" name="ceu" id="ceu_no" value="0" checked="checked" onchange="check_ceu()" /> No, thank you Any ideas on this?
