  • Scrum meeting - dealing with the last question

    In the 5/15 minute scrum meeting the 3 questions are asked. For the last question "what impediments are getting in your way" If a dev has problems - the xyz is going to have problems, this is likely going to draw the meeting out past 15 mins and could go into a hour long discussion. Is it the scrum masters job to help this user, is there something to stop this from going on more than 15 mins. Thoughts?

  • Python Logging across multiple classes and files; how to configure so as to be easily disabled?

    Currently, I have osmething like this in all of my classes: # Import logging to log information import logging # Set up the logger LOG_FILENAME = 'log.txt' logging.basicConfig(filename=LOG_FILENAME,level=logging.DEBUG) This works well, and I get the output I want, but I would really like to have all this sort of information in one place, and be able to just do something like import myLogger and then start logging, and then hopefully be able to just go into that file and turn off logging when I need an extra performance boost. Any opinions on which I should take on and do a deep dive? I do not which technology, I am wondering if one is better than the other when trying to get a job, more in the entry/mid level skill level.     I have functionality built in python on a central server. I wish to expose this api over the network to an iphone application. What would be the best way to do that? Is it possible to create web services in python and have the iphone app use those? If so could anyone give me pointers as to how to create web services in python.   • Move an item from one div to another and back again using jquery

    Hello, <div id=i1><span id=e1>Item 1</span></div> <div id=i2><span id=e2>Item 2</span></div> When I click on Item 1 it should be deleted and moved to i2 and when I click on Item 1 again it must go back to i1 Yes, I tried append(), it goes to i2, but on clicking again it does not move back to i1 How do I get to do it.     I tried to find out how to move my working copy. I know SVN move can be used to move files and folders inside your working copy but what about the working copy itself? I want to move it because I created a branch in a folder location that's different from my branch and had updated therefore all my .NET project references. So when I go to merge back to the mainline trunk I get a bunch of tree conflicts.

The adjustments take place only at the bottom and right side.   • Merging all changesets associated with a WorkItem in Team Foundation Server

    We're trailing the use of the built in bug tracking, and have written some integration into our helpdesk software that allows for escalation via workitems. One thing I haven't found out how to do, is to merge all changes associated with a work item (say to go from dev branch to main) - I appreciate you can double click on a changeset in the merge dialog to view if it is associated with a workitem, and also that I can select individual changesets, and groups of adjacent changesets; but there doesn't appear to be any way to merge changes by workitem?

  • Twitter feed only load periodically

    I've tried many jQuery twitter feed plugins and they all seem to suffer from the same problem. Nothing loads for unless I refresh several times and then it will load once. I then need to refresh several more times before it loads again. Is there some sort of limitation on Twitters side or does this only happen to me? Example - This is the test site but it is basically ready to go live except for this issue.
