• How can you develop for hardware connected to an iPhone OS device via the 30pin connector?

  I have a small thermometer with a mini-usb connection. I would like to connect it via USB adapters to the 30pin connector on my iPhone. I am a paid dev ($99 version) and can't find much info on the hardware stuff. Is it possible to access this hardware with my current setup? I just want to access the data being generated via the temperature sensor. Thank-you for any help!!

  I have two SQL 2005 instances that reside on different networks. I need to backup a database from instance A and restore it to a database in instance B on a weekly basis so that both databases hold the same data. After the restore, logins SIDS on database B are changed and therefore users can't log into database B and connection strings for the web application it supports are broken. How could I associate an executing query with such 'Address'. Please advice. • Can I and should I use Eclipselink for non OR database interactions?

  We are using Eclipselink for ORM, but we have a need for some more lightweight database interactions that are more equivalent to JDBC. My question is whether Eclipselink supports such an idiom and whether there are any advantages of it to straight JDBC. I can see one advantage being consistency and being able to use the existing connection handling. Others? Specifically, what I'm looking for is something equivalent to Hibernate's Native SQL Query.
