  • How can I prevent a view from covering my tab controller in my tab based application?

    I have an application with a Tab Bar Controller that has three tabs. In tab 1 there is a view (view1) with a button that when clicked transitions the user to a new view (view2) still within tab 1. However when this new view (view2) is loaded it covers my tab bar controller. What is the best approach for me to take to still display tab bar controller as well as keep tab 1 highlighted?

  • 398 row datalist slowing down modal open????

    Hey guys I got a weird issue.. I have a datalist that's only loaded on pageload it contains 2 columns a name and date and has 398 rows.. In IE 7 and above(and prob previous version) when I open a modal via a button click it takes almost 5 seconds to open. HOWEVER, if I do not bind this datalist it's MUCH faster.. Also this is only happening in IE, Chrome, Firefox and opera both open the modal instantly with the datalist binded... Josh

    I am running the same AIR application under windows, linux and Mac OSX Windows and Linux look fine, but under mac OS-X the controls are not showing any text. Button, Tooltips, Labels, Check boxes, everything is blank. I just ported that app to Flex 4. Flex 3 versions of the same app on the same OSX machine works. How can I get controls to show text under Max OSX? Is this a font problem?

    I have spreadsheet with 50+ checkboxes from the forms toolbar. In a few instances you can only check 1 checkbox from a group i.e you check one checkbox from checkbox 1 to checkbox 5. I'm trying to achieve this without any code if possible. Option button is not preferred since I want an uniformed spreadsheet.     I tried to deploy the app to the iphone device for test.When I pressed the run button, one error accured.pic is attched below. "the file 'Simple-Info.plist' could not be opened because there is no such file".But the file is there in the project! I mentioned the path of the file which was marked in red in the pic.Why there is 2 Simple(the Project name) in the path? Anyone could help?! enter image description here

    I have a special content-type that I have created, and one of the fields is a radio button list. The last element is named 'Other' and I would like to have a textbox appear and allow the user to enter in a non-defined value. Is this sort of capability provided by any sort of module, or is this something that needs to be coded by hand? (If so, would you mind pointing me in the correct direction?)
