  • Triple Boot with Windows 7, Windows 7 and Ubuntu

    Hello, currently I have dual boot with 2 windows 7. (dont ask why, long story, I need them for each with different settings involving Audio Recording) I am very keen to install the new Ubuntu and get into a new OS, out of interest but I don't want to mess with my current 2 windows installations? If I install Ubuntu, will this simply add to my list of OS boot options when you set it, like I did when I install my 2nd Windows 7 Any comments or help would be great? Thanks Bill

  • how to enable mac like task bar in Windows 7

    I have recently got a laptop with windows 7 installed and it is showing normal task bar at bottom and one taskbar with glass like background (I think I seen similar one in either mac or ubuntu) which have the icons for accessing internet, email, mediaplayer. But after sometime it suddenly disappeared and I don't know how to get it back? I don't even know what it is called ;( Can anybody please help?

    I'm trying to get Sublime Text 2's command line alias working. The instructions make perfect sense: Run ln -s "/Applications/Sublime Text 2.app/Contents/SharedSupport/bin/subl" ~/bin/subl So, in ~/bin, subl exists. However, even when I restart terminal, the command 'subl' is not found. The path specified to the application's subl file is correct, I've verified that. Logging out does not fix it. Any help would be awesome!

    After installation of nginx webserver, i run my website in firefox. It works good in firefox, i can see my website template is looks good, but in internet explorer it is not working properly, i can't see my webpage has text and images and every content in bad style. Like images are not loading, may be css is not working. Please help me to sort out this problem. Before this i was running my website on apache with different ip address and moved to nginx.   • Windows 7 File shares randomly no accessible from OSx

    Hello Everyone!, My setup is I have a windows 7 computer acting as a file server. All my computers can connect to it fine including my mac. The problem is that randomly the mac will get kicked off the file share (even when i am in the middle of using it) and will not be allowed to reconnect to it until i reboot the windows 7 machine. (Rebooting the mac doesn't help) Does anyone know what could be causing this to happen?

I am currently using NAT for networking and would like to remain using this networking method if possible.     Is there a way to start windows "explorer" process from command line? Because of some problem in my Vista OS, explorer process crashes frequently (i can not see TaskBar after that) but using the open windows i can access the cmd.exe ( ctrl+alt+delete does not work). If there could be a command to start "explorer" process again or to start the Task manager then that would help a lot. Thanks

    From what I hear, Windows 7 is able to burn ISO files natively. I should be able to right-click on a given ISO and choose "Burn disk image", but I do not have that option on any ISO I try. I am assuming that I fudged the associations somehow. Can you help me get back on track?

    I'm using the standard Database Model Diagram template in Visio 2007. When I try to connect two entities, the line is a "one and only one" type. I need a "zero or more" type, but no amount of line editing will change the line. Is this a bug? The Visio help does not describe how to do this and the MS website turns up no results for 2007 (plenty for 2003, but the menu options it refers to are not in 2007).

    my new seagate sata drive keeps showing as a 249gb drive but in the setup part when i press del at the boot up it states there a 3000gb drive and i have searched for a solution but havent found one yet. I havent tried in a different pc yet and I have an asus gaming board with 2 video cards sli'ed and i have windows 7 ultimate 64 bit with 8gb ram and a hp 23" widescreen monitor and the sniper gaming case and a salitek lighted up gaming keyboard and a razor death adder gaming mouse and a corsair 850 watt power supply.   • Windows 7 120 GB disc drive C full

    I have windows 7 and my disc drive has a capacity of 120 GB. From one day to another it tells me that my disc C is full in a red bar but I dont have many programs installed. I deleted all of my videos, games, music, pictures, etc and I was able to free up 30 GB. I ran the disk cleaner and emptied the TEMP folder and garbage can but it still shows a 70GB used. Can I get some help from the experts PLEASE!!!
