  • windows server 2008 instance on KVM stuck in 'Pause' mode

    I have a windows Server 2008 instance as a guest on KVM. When I tried to run it via virtual machine manager, the process got frozen after few seconds and trying to resume the process lead to this error from virt-manager: Error unpausing domain: internal error unable to execute QEMU command 'cont': Resetting the Virtual Machine is required I tried to Reboot it without any success. Any help will be highly appreciated.

A tool that is functionally similar to the automatic acronym expansion done by Wikileaks in their Afgan War Diary (as seen at http://213.251.145.96/id/310B4FC4-2F89-4653-A546-1AD5D55BD9F7/) but ideally supports PDF or Microsoft Word documents. The list of acronyms and jargon and their expanded text could be provided in a separate file.

  • File associations not present in Microsoft Office 2010

    The error when trying to open MS Office is that there is no file association & another error when trying to open individual progs is - side bt side configuration is incorrect. The suite has been working perfectly until last week ( no significant changes to system ) I have tried downloading the VC++ & uninstalled & reinstalled twice, even deleted the registry entry for office 2010 before reinstall but have had no success. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    I've install apache2 on an Unbuntu 12.04 machine, but I can't get the server to start at boot time. Although I've tried many things : reinstall apache2 run update-rc.d apache2 enable But each time the apache2 is not start after boot time : I get nothing with a pgrep apache2 or a ps -e | grep apache2 UPDATE I've also tried the logging tweak suggested in another related post, but no entries at all can be found in /var/log/syslog What could I do to make it work ?     I have a problem regarding how to kill a process in cygwin on windows. I am completely new to cygwin. But i have a task that i simply cant kill. i have tried issuing the following commands: kill 4568 kill -9 4568 /bin/kill -f 4568 I have issued the commands in a separate cygwin terminal since i cant CTR-C it in the cygwin terminal where the process run. I have searched all over the internet without success :( hope someone can help thanks :)

    I needed to take columns A, B, and C and compare D, E and F. Here's an example: A B C D E F Jump Smith 5 Jump Smith 8 Run Naylor 2 Swim Fran 4 Swim Fran 7 Jog Dylan 1 Jump Fran 3 Jog Smith 4 So I want to match column A and B with D and E but still have both number related C for 2011 and F for 2012. Can anyone please help with that formula? My data is from A3-C4344 and D3 - D4470.

    I have a big problem with my laptop, My laptop loss it's connectivity to internet randomly! for Example sometimes it's ok up to 1h but usually the problem occurred after 5 min.     Everytime I try to run a Enter-PSSession -ComputerName name, I am logged on to version 1.0 even tought 2.0 is installed. Being the powershell newbie, I looked into the registry in HKLM\SOftWare\Microsoft\PowerShell\1\PowerShellEngine I see these registries http://yfrog.com/gzo5s8j Unfortunately I am unable to change it to syswow64 directory.   • Windows 7 File shares randomly not accessible from OSx

    Hello Everyone!, My setup is I have a windows 7 computer acting as a file server. All my computers can connect to it fine including my mac. The problem is that randomly the mac will get kicked off the file share (even when i am in the middle of using it) and will not be allowed to reconnect to it until i reboot the windows 7 machine. (Rebooting the mac doesn't help) Does anyone know what could be causing this to happen?
