  In a form_tag, there is a list of 10 to 15 checkboxes: <%= check_box_tag 'vehicles[]', car.id %> How can I select-all (put a tick in every single) checkboxes by RJS? Thanks EDIT: Sorry I didn't make my question clear. What I meant to ask is how to add a "Select/Un-select All" link in the same page to toggle the checkboxes.

• A file is being http posted, how can I reference the parameter by index?

  An XML file is being posted to a url that my spring mvc is responding to. In .NET, I could do this: request.Form[0] request.Form["abc"] or request.QueryString[0] request.QueryString["some_key"] Now with spring/servlets it seems I can only do this: request.getParameter("some_key") or get all the names or values. When someone is posting a file to a url, using http post, won't this be just a single request parameter then? Can I get the parameter using index with servlets?

• What is the advantage of placing "{" on the same line as a conditional statement?

  I'm trying to select the order total sum ($) and invoice count over a 5 day period in a single query. I can't seem to get this to happen though. The current query I have is here...   Is there an easy way to update the data source for multiple pivot tables on a single Excel sheet at the same time? All of the pivot tables reference the same named range, but I need to create a second worksheet that has the same pivot tables, but accessing a different named range.   In MVC app, I am having this big object that is used in classic view/edit/create pattern.
