  • How can I set a default sort for tables in PHPMyAdmin (i.e. always "Primary key - Descending")

    Even though its obnoxious in a lot of ways I use PHPMyAdmin all the time to debug database issues while writing PHP. By default it sorts tables by primary key ascending. 99% of the time I would rather have the newest data (my test data) shown at the top by default rather than the useless first few records ever saved. Is there a way to configure PHPMyAdmin to show the newest records by default? To alter similar behavior?

    Hi, i have a wcf service which runs perfectly on my dev machine (vs2010, target 3.5) but once deployed, it shows me the code behind of the service (actually the plain text of the .svc file) and not the normal service page: <%@ ServiceHost Language="C#" Debug="true" Service="SilverlightPoc.Web.FinanceData" CodeBehind="FinanceData.svc.cs" %> Anyone any idea why the .svc file is rendered as plain text and not as wcf service?

  • crt0.o and crt1.o -- What's the difference?

    Hello, recently I've been trying to debug some low level work and I could not find the crt0.S for the compiler(avr-gcc) but I did find a crt1.S (and the same with the corresponding .o files) What is the difference between these two files? Is crt1 something completely different or what? They both seem to have to do with something for bootstrapping(setting up stack frame and such), but why the distinction?

    Hi i am trying to implement a web application in java using netbeans 6.8 all the time i try to run the project i get an error that points to build-impl.xml:632 if i try to debug i get an error that points at build-impl.xml:722 the error doesn tgive any clue(at least to me) it only says failed on GlassFish v3 Domain i haven t modified the file so i do not know what is going on any idea?   • if curl getinfo for HTTP CODE is not returning a code!?

    Hi, I am doing a normal curl call to a webservice and I grab the return HTTP code through $code = curl_getinfo ($ch, CURLINFO_HTTP_CODE); It does return me $code as 200 - which is good. But logging the curl calls now from a week, there where few calls to the same webservice which didn't return anything! so basically I am getting $code as blank. Can someone tell me what should be going wrong under those scenarios, and if can debug it more!? Thanks, Tanmay

    I am trying to find a lib file that I created. I changed the configuration type to static lib. Then I rebuild the application. When I go to the debug folder in windows, I see the .lib file. but when I create a new application and try to add it to "additional Library Directories" I go to the exact folder and it does not show up.

    I have a strange error. I'm debugging an asp.net site and suddenly it stops. Visual Studio stays in debug mode and my web application stays on running just fine. I found this post on, but I don't think a background thread is causing the problem. There's even a try catch around the code where it usually stops debugging, but the catch is not triggered... Everytime I try it, it stops at a different place in the code.

I seem to remember a nice tool where I could drag its pointer over the GUI of my running application and get lots of info about what was pointed at - handle, size, text, parent, children, etc IIRC, if the exe include debug info I could also get the actual variable name as used in the source. It ran nicely in debugging mode, but my computer became slower and slower as I worked until it finaly became frozen. after I manualy restarted it, the app wasn't running any more in debug and I get this execption in the browser. Only I am connected right now to the app. I have restarted the computer so there coudn't be any instance of a client connected I have removed and reinstalled the IIS what is wrong?

It can be important that: 1) You never know it is in an inconsistent state, so you try for 2 hours trying to debug the code for what's wrong. 2) With all the framework code -- potentially hundreds of files -- if some files are inconsistent with the other, can't the rake db:migrate or script/generate controller cause some damage or inconsistencies to the code base?
