  • How to detect the vertical scrollbar in a DataGridView control

    Using winforms in vs2008. I have a DataGridView and I would like to detect when the vertical scroll bar is visible. What event should I register for? I am adding the summing the each cell value in the last column of the grid and displaying that value in a textbox at the bottom of the DataGridView. I would like this textbox to stay lined up with the cell values (I have made them right aligned since it is $$ values) even after the scroll bar is present.

    I'm using a vertical UIButton in a portrait app (Just a normal button that is of width 60 and Height 160) I want to put the label Vetically down the button instead of across it. When I use the following code to rotate the label [workPackageButton.titleLabel setTransform:CGAffineTransformMakeRotation(M_PI / 2)]; It rotates the label but the length seems to be constrained by the original width, so I get the ... abreviation in the middle. Is there an easy way round this?

These points can be anywhere on the map, so if they are in a diagonal direction from the enemy the enemy sprite will move directly to that point. But how do I change the above code to restrict the movement to vertical and horizontal movement only so that the enemies movement 'staircases' its way along a diagonal path, taking the manhattan distance (I think its called). As shown by my crude drawing below... S being the start point F being the finish and the numbers being each intermediate point along its path to create a staircase type diagonal movement.   • GNU Screen: «unknown command 'vert_split'» though C-a | works

    Hi, in GNU-screen (4.00.03jw4 FAU 2-May-06) I'm able to perform a vertical split pressing C-a | (i.e. Ctrl+a, then pipe). Since I'd like to have the screen vertically splitted at the program startup, I put "vert_split" in my .screenrc file, but when I start it I can read «unknown command 'vert_split'» for few seconds in the status bar, and the screen is indeed not splitted. I can't find a solution for this in the manual. Can someone please help me? Thank you.

  • Vertically resize two windows at same time?

    I love the new feature in Windows 7 where I can grab the title bar and "slam" a window against the right edge of the computer and it will size that window to the right half of the screen. I can then grab another window and do the same against the left side of the screen. Once I've done that I often find that one of those windows needs a bit more horizontal space and the other can do with less. So I grab the edge in the middle of each window and resize that window so I can most efficiently use my screen space. Problem is that I have to do this twice, once for each window. Is there a way to grab the inside vertical edge of both windows at the same time so that I can make one wider and the other smaller at the same time?

  • Silverlight ItemsControl vertical scrollbar, using a wrappanel as ControlTemplate

    I have a collection of elements, each one with a name and a subcollection of image blobs. I want to display an Accordion, with each item representing each of the MainElements. inside each element, I display the images in the subcollecion of said MainElement. The Accordion gets resized by the user, so I use a wrappanel for presenting the images. When the accordion is wide enough, the images reorder themselves fitting as many as posible in each row. the problem comes when the wrappanel only displays one image per row (because there's no space enough for more), the image list continues, but I can't see all the images, because they don't fit inside the control's height. I need a vertical scrollbar to be displayed inside the AccordionItem so I can scroll down the image list.
