  • Objective C: Create arrays from first array based on value

    I have an array of strings that are comma separated such as: Steve Jobs,12,CA Fake Name,21,CA Test Name,22,CA Bill Gates,44,WA Bill Nye,21,OR I have those values in an NSScanner object so that I can loop through the values and get each comma seperated value using objectAtIndex. So, what I would like to do, is group the array items into new arrays, based on a value, in this case, State. So, from those, I need to loop through, checking which state they are in, and push those into a new array, one array per state. CA Array: Steve Jobs,12,CA Fake Name,21,CA Test Name,22,CA WA Array: Bill Gates,44,WA OR Array: Bill Nye,21,OR So in the end, I would have 3 new arrays, one for each state. Also, if there were additional states used in the first array, those should have new arrays created also. Any help would be appreciated!

  • Use jquery to create a multidimensional array

    I'd like to use jquery and a multidemensional array to show a random quote plus the name of the individual who wrote it as a separate item. I'll then be able to use css to style them differently. The quote will change upon page refresh.   • create text inside a rectangle using inkscape

    I've put some text inside a rectangle using inkscape so the tree is like <svg:rect><svg:text><svg:tspan>text.... The problem is, I can't see the text. I've tried fiddling with the opacity of the rect to no avail. There should be a way of doing this from the UI? They do not have to comply to any formal standard and should look alike the diagrams attached. The trick within the archetype.xml with the trailing / doesnt works for me: <resources> <resource>src/main/webapp/</resource> Unable to find resource 'archetype-resources/src/main/webapp/' Also the fileSet directory in archetype-metadata.xml does not work for me: <fileSet filtered="true" encoding="UTF-8"> <directory>src/main/webapp/</directory> </fileSet> Is there any other solution? Write an instance-method for ListImpl with the signature: public void mirror(); That makes a reversed copy of the linked-list pointed to by start and appends that copy to the end of the list. The program typically 'query' the judge program a certain number of times, then output a final answer. An example The client program accepts lines one by one, and simply echoes it back. When it encountered a line with "done", it exists immediately. Basically I want to maintain userIDs so that when I migrate posts they continue to associate with the correct users. Is there a way to do this or would I be better off just using CreateUser and then finding a way to re-assign the post-by-UserIDs to the correct new IDs? Thanks

  • PHP AJAX mysql event calendar - UI for events spanning multiple days

    I have built a PHP calendar system and have pretty much everything done but not sure how to deal with a UI issue involving how the events that stretched out over a couple of days. I want to be able to stretch an event that stretches over couple of days in a div that spans those days in the calendar. Basically I would like to know how to achieve what these guys have achieved with the event that stretches out from 21st to 22nd with the yellow div background. I have been trying to see how I can do it with PHP but I feel like I might be trying the wrong thing. Perhaps this is done with javascript?

    I am looking at creating an MSI that will check/install the prerequisites of SQL Server 2008 and after the prerequisites are installed I will start my slipstream 2008 install. I am currently trying to do this through VS 2008 Deployment Projects, but I cannot just simple add the folders of the SQL slipstream into the setup project without recreating the entire folder structure of the SQL install. So my questions are: Is this a possible to do through Deployment Projects? (if yes, please assist with links or help) Is there a better way to do this? (I would prefer not to use WISE)

    How do I get Wix to include a CustomTable with no rows in the final MSI? If I simply define the table like this <CustomTable Id="MyTable"> <Column Id="Id" Type="string" Category="Identifier" PrimaryKey="yes"/> <Column Id="Root" Type="string"/> <Column Id="Key" Type="string"/> <Column Id="Name" Type="string"/> </CustomTable> Wix omits it from the final output. My CustomAction is expecting it to be there, so that it can add rows to it during execution. Any ideas?
