    - by Bakaburg

But this class is not present in the docs!!! and even in google is nowhere to be found! where does it come out from?? EDIT: I discovered that SC.arrayProxy is only in sproutcore 2!     I am using Geonames for loading the cities using JSON. Geonames data i imported into my database. I am using MS SQL 2008 Server. I display a dropdown for country select. Once the user select the country. I am loading all the cities into the autocomplete textbox. I am facing a delay in the getJSON method. Also it seems like executing asynchronous. Please advice me what i am doing wrong in my code. $(document).ready(function () { $("#ShowLoad").hide(); //Hook onto the MakeID list's onchange event $("#Country").change(function () { findcities = []; $("#ShowLoad").show(); $("#HomeTown").unautocomplete(); var url = '<%= Url.Content("~/") %>' + "Location/GetCitiesCountByCountry/" + $("#Country").val(); $.getJSON(url, null, function (data) { var total = data; if (total > 0) { var pageTotal = Math.ceil(total / 1000); var isFilled = false; for (var i = 0; i < pageTotal; i++) { var skip = i == 1 ? 0 : (i * 1000) - 1000; var url = '<%= Url.Content("~/") %>' + "Location/GetCitiesByCountry/" + $("#Country").val() + "?skip=" + skip; //alert(i); $.getJSON(url, null, function (data) { $.each(data.Cities, function (index, optionData) { if ($("#Country").val() == "US") { findcities.push(optionData.asciiname + "," + optionData.admin1_code); } else { findcities.push(optionData.asciiname); } }); if (i == pageTotal) { //alert(findcities); $("#ShowLoad").hide(); $("#HomeTown").focus().autocomplete(findcities); } }); } $("#HomeTown").setOptions({ max: 100000 }); } }); }).change(); });

  • .NET Weird character encoding issue

    - by born to hula
    Our globalization mechanism stores error messages in a SQL 2005 DB. Some of the error messages are used as subjects on email messages sent to the development team. Recently, with no clear reason, we started receiving emails with strangely encoded subjects, such as: =?utf-8?B?Qm1mQm92ZXNwYS5Qb3NUcmFkaW5nRXNwZWNpZmljYWNhbyAtIFN1Y2Vzc28gbm8gcmVwcm 9jZXNzYW1lbnRvLiBEYXRhIFByZWfDo28gPSAzMS8wMy8yMDEwIDAwOjAwOjAwIC0gTsO6bWVyby BkbyBFdmVudG8gZGUgTmVnw7NjaW8gPSAxMDAyIC0gQ8OzZGlnbyBOYXR1cmV6YSBkYSBPcGVyY cOnw6NvID0gQyAtIFNlcn... We don't have any clue on the reason this is happening, nor which encoding pattern is being used here (maybe utf-8?). I'd really appreciate some help.

  • How to create contexts in shoulda macros

    - by Honza
    Asking this question again with smaller code sample: # this is a dummy shoulda macro that creates a context def self.macro_context context "macro" do yield end end # i am expecting this test to fail within the macro context context "some context" do macro_context do should "test" do fail end end end So what I would expect is to see: 1) Error: test: some context macro context should test. (TestClassName) But I am getting only this: So what I would expect is to see: 1) Error: test: some context should test. (TestClassName) Any idea what am I doing wrong?

  • Is there a way to change the console Icon at runtime

    - by klumsy
    i'm not interested in changing the actual icon in the EXE that shows up in windows explorer, but just the icon that shows up in the top left of the console window. Already i set the icon in the visual studio project and i'm getting it nicely in windows explorer, and also that icon is showing up in the console window, i just want to be able to change it in the console windows at runtime. I.e lets say i wanted to put an icon that shows there are new emails or something.

  • Launch Scala REPL programatically?

    - by David Crawshaw
    I would like to launch a Scala Swing application from the command line, then after the application is started, drop into the Scala REPL to use as a control interface. Ideally I would also like to pre-bind some variable names. Even better would be using a Java2D terminal emulator for the REPL, but I couldn't find anything appropriate. Does the Scala REPL have a public API?

  • OpenID: Trying to Get Email Address from Google OP

    - by Zaff
    I’m using dotnetopenauth 3.2 to implement Openid and can’t figure out how to get Google to pass the email address in the Claims Response. I know that Google doesn’t support simple registration, but I can’t determine what they do support. Caveat to this question is that I just started learning OpenID and I know I don’t have a solid grasp on the specification which I think is leading to my confusion. Any help would be appreciated!
