Even though its obnoxious in a lot of ways I use PHPMyAdmin all the time to debug database issues while writing PHP. By default it sorts tables by primary key ascending. 99% of the time I would rather have the newest data (my test data) shown at the top by default rather than the useless first few records ever saved.
Is there a way to configure PHPMyAdmin to show the newest records by default? To alter similar behavior?
I'm using :
$(window).scroll(function () {
if ($(window).scrollTop() + 10 >= ($(document).height() - $(window).height())) {
loadContent();
}
}
It works fine with Chrome, IE, Firefox but except in Safari. In function loadContent, I used JSON to load data, as this tutorial. But while I test in Safari, It takes the content twice from JSON. If the other takes 9 items, then Safari takes 18 items.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
Thanks.
I am trying to make a little application to allow to record actions within a Flash and Silverlight application. In such manner that you can compile your interactive application in test-mode and then be able to click on elements which then passed the action to Selenium IDE which then adds this command to the testcase.
I am curious if this even possible and how I can achieve this in Firefox?
Since attributes don't inherit in C# (at least I didn't think they did) - how does the following code still display the Hello popup when the MyTestMethod test is run:
[TestClass]
public class BaseTestClass {
[TestInitialize]
public void Foo() {
System.Windows.Forms.MessageBox.Show("Hello");
}
}
[TestClass]
public class TestClass : BaseTestClass {
[TestMethod]
public void MyTestMethod() {
Assert.IsTrue(true);
}
}
i am running a selenium test using ruby and was wondering how i can assert the value inside a text field?
i have a page where once its loaded has text inside the editable text field and i was wondering how i can check if the text is present?
thank you
Here is my test: I access a servlet to get the JVM to load (absorb the loading request). Then i access a JSP that has <%= 5+7 %> in it and nothing else. The first access to this JSP uses 350ms of CPU time and has latency of 200ms. Subsequent accesses only have latency and cpu time of about 20ms.
Why does the first access to the jsp after starting the servlet container take longer?
I have an authority string defined as such:
public final static String AUTHORITY = "dsndata.sds2mobile.jobprovider";
Followed by an edition to the UriMatcher:
uriMatcher.addURI(JobMetaData.AUTHORITY, "/JobNames/*",
JOBNAME_SINGLE_URI);
The uri that gets passed to the switch is:
content://dsndata.sds2mobile.jobprovider/JobNames/test
This falls through the switch and hits the default (which throws an IllegalArgumentException).
Am I missing something? I've searched and can't find anything that would account for the mismatch.
I am working on this gorgeous header here at : http://kayaskitchenbelmar.com/test/header.html
Unfortunately, in IE6, the drop downs that come off of the Print and View buttons collapse on to a new line.
This is because of the common z-index bug. I tried resolving this by making the parent div have a higher z-index and position relative with its child a lower z-index and position absolute, but that didn't seem to work.
Possibly I'm missing something obvious?
Thanks so much
So, I'm setting up Hudson right now and couldn't be more pleased. However, I need to display a table in the test results page as opposed to the graph it provides. Does anyone know how I would go about doing this?
Can subsonic 3.0 be used with a winform app? Do I need to add any references to the system.web?
If it can be done, how can I exclude certain tables in the DB? Can I use the following whih I am using for subsonic 2.0
<providers>
<!--<clear/>-->
<add name="TEST" type="SubSonic.SqlDataProvider, SubSonic" connectionStringName="myString" includeTableList="CustomerReference" includeProcedureList=""/>
</providers>
Sounds like a "let me google it for you" question, but somehow I can't find an answer. The Lua # operator only counts entries with integer keys, and so does table.getn:
tbl = {}
tbl["test"] = 47
tbl[1] = 48
print(#tbl, table.getn(tbl)) -- prints "1 1"
count = 0
for _ in pairs(tbl) do count = count + 1 end
print count -- prints "2"
How do I get the number of all entries?
Hi,
Is there a way to know if a remote object implements an interface (I cannot change/add methods to the remote object).
Indeed I cannot use a IsAssignableFrom nor the "as" to test since it's a remote object. Then I have an exception when I try to call a non implemented methods.
Thx
Can't believe how difficult this seems to be all I want to is to validate a user inout using javascript to make sure that it is an email address. But can't get it to work:
I am using:
//validates a regulaer expression
Utilities2.prototype.validateEmail = function(stringToValidateArg)
{
alert('about to check regexp');
var regExpPattern = /^[a-zA-Z0-9._-]+@[a-zA-Z0-9.-]+\.[a-zA-Z]{2,4}$/;
alert(regExpPattern.test(stringToValidateArg));
}
But this always returns false, any ideas why is it because of the regular expression?
I created a maven project in eclipse. I uploaded it to my subversion server. Now on my testing server I installed maven and I want to connect it with my svn repository to run test builds on. Not sure how to do this since I have only worked with Maven via the eclipse plug-in.
ofstream f("test",app);
f.seekp(5,ios::beg);
f << "hello world";
f.close();
What I'm trying to do here is open a file that already has data in it, and then put "hello world" somewhere in the middle of the file. However, when I run my code, it overwrites the whole file. How can this code be fixed?
I have my web server set up as a remote git repo, so I can type "git push staging" and my last commit goes live on the server. I used this tutorial to set this up.
A lot of the time, I'm testing a new feature, and I want to test several iterations of it on the staging server, before it's ready to quality as a commit. Is there a way to push my working directory to the server without having to commit it first?
I have this in one of my NUnit tests. I'm using R# to step through my test. The console window is not popping up to show me the contents for that foreach loop...not sure what I'm missing but yes, there is data for it to loop through so it's not like there's no data here
foreach (PostEntry post in posts)
{
Console.WriteLine("id: " + post.Id);
Console.WriteLine("title: " + post.Title);
Console.WriteLine("body: " + post.Body);
Console.ReadLine();
}
I want to branch if a message-property-code does exist or not.
<g:if test="${message(code: 'default.code.foo')}">
true
</g:if><g:else>
false
</g:else>
should answer true if there a message property named default.code.foo and false if not.
It fails because it answers the code if there is no property for it.
According to this schema VS2010 Premium and Ultimate has a tool for checking Code Coverage - together with a few other testing tools. Does this support nUnit too, or just MS test?
After test driving Google Chrome for 30 minutes or so, I like it, even if it seems bare-bones at the moment. The obvious way to add a few things I can't live without would be through plugins. Does anyone have any links to resources on how to get started building a plugin/addon for Chrome? Thanks.
I have added my iphone as device and associate it with provisioning. Then I download the newest provisioning and install it (I have successed added ipad as test device before).
Now, in the "Organizer", I can see the iphone device but when I connect iphone device I can not find the iphone device to run my app. My software version is 4.2.1, is it the version not the latest that lead to this problem? Or what is the possible reason?
I am using codeigniter. I want to know how to set up a cron job to check a table for expiring users and insert data in to another table with the list of expiring users. How to do that.
When i tried to write a script with controller and model to insert the table
:
Content-type: text/html
Fatal error: Class 'Controller' not found in /home/content/html/test/live/application/controllers/cron.php on line 2
