    CRETAE_TIME column of "TABLES" table from INFORMATION_SCHEMA shows the same CREATE_TIME for all my innodb tables. It means all these tables were created between 2010-03-26 06:52:00 and 2010-03-26 06:53:00 while actually they were created a few months ago. Does the CREATE_TABLE field change automatically for Innodb tables?

    i am trying paperclip for the first time and followed this tutorial all is well until i use styles. this is the code has_attached_file :photo, :url => "/uploads/products/:id/:style/:basename.:extension", :path => ":rails_root/public/uploads/products/:id/:style/:basename.:extension", :styles => { :thumb=> "100x100#" } the error i see on the console is [paperclip] An error was received while processing: #<Paperclip::NotIdentifiedByImageMagickError: C:/DOCUME~1/LOCALS~1/Temp/stream,2956,1.jpg is not recognized by the 'identify' command.> what does this mean? I have no idea what it means. Should i install this ImageMagick? I tried installing it as a plugin as per this page. This also returns an error that "plugin not found". what am i missing here?

  • SQL: script to create country, state tables

    Consider writing an application that requires registration for an entity, and the schema has been defined to require the country, state/prov/county data to be normalized. This is fairly typical stuff here. Naming also is important to reflect. Each country has a different name for this entity: USA = states Australia = states + territories Canada = provinces + territories Mexico = states Brazil = states Sweden = provinces UK = counties, principalities, and perhaps more! Most times when approaching this problem, I have to scratch together a list of good countries, and the states/prov/counties of each. The app may be concerned with a few countries and not others. The process is full of pain. It typically involves one of two approaches: opening up some previous DB and creating a CREATE script based on those tables. Run that script in the context of the new system. creating a DTS package from database1 to database2, with all the DDL and data included in the transfer. My goal now is to script the creation and insert of the countries that I'd be concerned with in the app of the day. When I want to roll out Countries X/Y/Z, I'll open CountryX.sql, and load its states into the ProvState table. Question: do you have a set of scripts in your toolset to create schema and data for countries and state/province/county? If so, would you share your scripts here? (U.K. citizens, please feel free to correct me by way of a comment in the use of counties.)

In other words what instead of doing this: $stmt = $dbh-prepare("SELECT * FROM REGISTRY where name = ?"); $stmt-bindParam(':name', $name); I wanted to do this: $stmt = $dbh-prepare("SELECT * FROM REGISTRY where firstname = ? or lastname = ?"); with both '?' representing the same string.

  • Making a query result equal to zero when a condition is null

    Hello, I believe the query below should work. However, when I run it, the results are blank. I think this is happening since for now, the table "comment" is empty. So there is no instance where s.submissionid = c.submissionid. I would like to have the query below to work even if there if no s.submissionid that equals a c.submissionid. In this case, I would like countComments to equal zero. How can I do this?     hi what i am trying to do is get all the collums of a table (the table can be empty) example of what i did before: SELECT COLUMN_NAME FROM INFORMATION_SCHEMA.COLUMNS WHERE table_name = 'aTable' AND table_schema = 'theDatabase' it works perfectly on localhost however on my provider it gives: #1142 - SELECT command denied to user 'username'@'localhost' for table 'COLUMNS' is there an alternative that doesn't use the INFORMATION_SCHEMA??

Ex: People older than 26 Name Properties Jane Smart, Funny, Good-looking Joe Smart, Workaholic It's also acceptable to return one of the properties and total property count. The query should be efficient: there are millions of rows in people table, hundreds of thousands of rows in properties table (so most people have no properties). There are hundreds of rows selected at a time. Is there any way to do it?

So what kind of JavaScript-based scenario calls onSilverlightError? When will onSilverlightError definitely be needed? What are Silverlight error-handling conventions in general? This is a very important comment by Erik Monk but needs more detail: There are 2 kinds of terminal errors in Silverlight. 1) Managed errors (hit the managed Application_UnhandledException method). Note that some errors may not even get to this point. If the managed infrastructure can't be loaded for some reason (out of memory error maybe...), you won't get this kind of error. Still, if you can get it, you can use a web service (or the CLOG project) to communicate it back to the server. 2) Javascript errors.

    I need to retreive a list of posts that have (at least) one attachment that belongs to a category in WordPress. The relation between attachments and categories I made by myself using the WordPress default method. Here's the query that i'm running right now: SELECT p.* FROM `wp_posts` AS p # The post INNER JOIN `wp_posts` AS a # The attachment ON p.`ID` = a.`post_parent` AND a.`post_type` = 'attachment' INNER JOIN `wp_term_relationships` AS ra ON a.`ID` = ra.`object_id` AND ra.`term_taxonomy_id` IN (3) # The category ID list WHERE p.`post_type` = 'post' ORDER BY p.`post_date` DESC LIMIT 15 The problem here is that the query only use the first found attachment, and if it doesn't belongs to the category, the result isn't returned.

    Hello all, First of all thanks in advance, this has been very frustrating and I'm hoping someone can see something I'm not, I am definitely no php expert. Well here' what is going on. I have a form where I have a checkbox for people to opt in to our newletter. The form element looks like this: <label for=newsletter accesskey=N class="checkbox">Signup for Cloverton's Newsletter</label> <input name="newsletter" type="checkbox" id="newsletter" value="Yes" style="width:20px;" /> That is then submitted to a php file with this code: if (isset($_POST['newsletter']) && $_POST['newsletter'] == 'Yes'){ echo "newletter yes"; $newsletter = 1; }else{ echo "newsletter no"; $newsletter = 0; } $newsletter is then inserted into a database field. The issue is that whether the box is checked or not it is being sent to php as true, so every entry is receiving the newsletter. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

    Hi All, I have a tricky problem that I'm trying to find the most effective method to solve. Here's a simplified version of my View structure. Table: Audits AuditID | PublicationID | AuditEndDate | AuditStartDate 1 | 3 | 13/05/2010 | 01/01/2010 2 | 1 | 31/12/2009 | 01/10/2009 3 | 3 | 31/03/2010 | 01/01/2010 4 | 3 | 31/12/2009 | 01/10/2009 5 | 2 | 31/03/2010 | 01/01/2010 6 | 2 | 31/12/2009 | 01/10/2009 7 | 1 | 30/09/2009 | 01/01/2009 There's 3 query's that I need from this. I need to one to get all the data. The next to get only the history data (that is, everything but exclude the latest data item by AuditEndDate) and then the last query is to obtain the latest data item (by AuditEndDate). There's an added layer of complexity that I have a date restriction (This is on a per user/group basis) where certain user groups can only see between certain dates.     Hi Guys, Im having some problems with a GTK program im trying to build. When i compile it i keep getting this error: This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)'. (Details: serial 195 error_code 11 request_code 53 minor_code 0) Ive traced it down to the following command that appears to be causing it: gtk_box_pack_start(GTK_BOX (Top_Graph), Widget_Get (Graph_Cpu), TRUE, TRUE, 0); Now Top_Graph and Graph_Cpu are both GtkVbox Widgets. Has anyone ever seen an error like this, and could they give me some advice as to how it is caused Regards Paul

    What I need to do is have a data structure that shows jobs organised into 14 day periods, but only when an id is the same. I've implemented all sorts of stuff, but they have failed miserably. Ideally, maybe a SQL expert could handle all of this in the query. Here is some of my code. I also think I'm doing it wrong because I need to check the earliest date. Is it possible at all to do any of this in the database query? To recap, here is my problem I have a list of jobs with all have a rig_id (many jobs can have the same) and a date. I need the data to be organised into hitches. That is, the rig_id must be the same per hitch, and they must span a 14 day period, in which the next 14 days with the same rig_id will be a new hitch. Can someone please point me on the right track?   • Drupal Views pulling Data Fields

    I'm a little new to drupal but have been using things like devel module and theme developer to speed up the learning process. My question, is it possible to theme an entire views BLOCK from a single views tpl.php page OR even a preprocess? When I'm grabbing the $view object I can see results $node-result, it has all of the results, but it doesn't have all my views fields. I'm missing things like, node path, taxonomy titles and paths, etc. From my understanding, Drupal wants you to individually theme EACH output field. It seems rather superfluous to create so many extra templates when I've already got over HALF of my results coming through the $view object Would outputting node over field make this easier? Or am going in the wrong direction with $view-result? Thanks!
