  • Python csv reader acting weird

    - by PylonsN00b
    So OK if I run this wrong code: csvReader1 = csv.reader(file('new_categories.csv', "rU"), delimiter=',') for row1 in csvReader1: print row1[0] print row1[8] category_sku = str(row[8]) if category_sku == sku: classifications["Craft"] = row[0] classifications["Theme"] = row[1] I get: Knitting 391 Traceback (most recent call last): File "upload_all_inventory_ebay.py", line 403, in <module> inventory_item_list = get_item_list(product) File "upload_all_inventory_ebay.py", line 294, in get_item_list category_sku = str(row[8]) NameError: global name 'row' is not defined Where Knitting and 391 are exactly right, of course I need to refer to row[8] as row1[8]...k so I do this: csvReader1 = csv.reader(file('new_categories.csv', "rU"), delimiter=',') for row1 in csvReader1: print row1[0] print row1[8] category_sku = str(row1[8]) if category_sku == sku: classifications["Craft"] = row1[0] classifications["Theme"] = row1[1] And I get this: ...........   • Blackberry invalidate field not causing a repaint

    - by Michaela
    I'm writing a Blackberry app. I have a custom list field where I can select an item in the list which pushes the edit screen onto the stack. I edit the item and save, and when I pop that screen off so I am back on my list screen, I want to view the update I just made reflected in the list. I have done this on other screens which just had LabelFields and it worked fine. However, with the list screen, calling invalidate() seems to do nothing. I know the value has saved correctly through print lines, and I see the paint() method in the listfield is getting called. But the only way I can get the list field to update is to delete it from the screen and re-add it. That seems wrong. What am I doing wrong? public class ListTasksScreen extends MainScreen{ private TaskList tasks; private CustomListField taskListField; public ListTasksScreen (TaskList tasks){ super(); this.tasks = tasks; Vector incompleteTasks = tasks.getIncompleteTasks(); taskListField = new CustomListField(incompleteTasks, tasks); add(taskListField); } public void updateTaskList(TaskList t) { Vector incompleteTasks = t.getIncompleteTasks(); taskListField= new TaskListField(incompletetTasks, t); //I just want to call taskListField.invalidate() here. //the only thing that seems to work is deleting taskListField //and re-adding this.delete(taskListField); add(taskListField); } }

  • Is it possible to use SqlGeography with Linq to Sql?

    - by cofiem
    I've been having quite a few problems trying to use Microsoft.SqlServer.Types.SqlGeography. I know full well that support for this in Ling to Sql is not great. I've tried numerous ways, beginning with what would the expected way (Database type of geography, CLR type of SqlGeography). This produces the NotSupportedException, which is widely discussed via blogs. I've then gone down the path of treating the geography column as a varbinary(max), as geography is a UDT stored as binary. This seems to work fine (with some binary reading and writing extension methods). However, I'm now running into a rather obscure issue, which does not seem to have happened to many other people. System.InvalidCastException: Unable to cast object of type 'Microsoft.SqlServer.Types.SqlGeography' to type 'System.Byte[]'. This error is thrown from an ObjectMaterializer when iterating through a query. It seems to only occur when the tables containing geography columns are included in a query implicitly (ie. using the EntityRef<> properties to do joins). System.Data.Linq.SqlClient.ObjectReaderCompiler.ObjectReader`2.MoveNext() My question: If I'm retrieving the geography column as varbinary(max), I might expect the reverse error: can't cast byte[] to SqlGeography. That I would understand. This I don't. I do have some properies on the partial LINQ to SQL classes that hide the binary conversion... could those be the issue? Any help appreciated, and I know there's probably not enough information.

  • Acceessing some aggregate functions in a linq datasource in a GridView

    - by Stephen Pellicer
    I am working on a traditional WebForms project. In the project I am trying out some Linq datasources with plans to eventually migrate to an MVC architecture. I am still very new to Linq. I have a GridView using a Linq datasource. The entities I am showing has a to many relationship and I would like to get the maximum value of a column in the many side of the relationship. I can show properties of the base entity in the gridview: <asp:TemplateField HeaderText="Number" SortExpression="tJobBase.tJob.JobNumber"> <ItemTemplate> <asp:Label ID="Label1" runat="server" Text='<%# Bind("tJobBase.tJob.JobNumber") %>'> </asp:Label> </ItemTemplate> </asp:TemplateField> I can also show the count of the many related property: <asp:TemplateField HeaderText="Number" SortExpression="tJobBase.tJob.tHourlies.Count"> <ItemTemplate> <asp:Label ID="Label1" runat="server" Text='<%# Bind("tJobBase.tJob.tHourlies.Count") %>'> </asp:Label> </ItemTemplate> </asp:TemplateField> Is there a way to get the max value of a column called WeekEnding in the tHourlies collection to show in the GridView?

  • JTree - Issues with adding of nodes

    - by John
    Hi. Im developing a system that stores courses that participants can apply to. I'm presenting the enrollments in a JTree in the courseadministratorGUI. My problem is that, for every enrollment it's adding a new courseNode. Been trying for many hours, and hope I can now get some advice that will point me in the correct direction. Thank you. private void updateJTree() { for (Category cat : catcontrol.getAllCategoriesList()) { category = new DefaultMutableTreeNode(cat); for (Course c : ccontrol.getAllCourses()) { if (cat.getIdCategory() == c.getIdCategory()) { for (Enrollment e : econtrol.getAllEnrollments()) { if (e.getIdCourse() == c.getIdCourse()) { if (cat.getIdCategory() == c.getIdCategory() && e.getCourse().equals(c)) { root.add(category); } if (c.getIdCourse() == e.getIdCourse()) { course = new DefaultMutableTreeNode(c); category.add(course); enrollment = new DefaultMutableTreeNode(e.getParticipant().getFirstNames()); course.add(enrollment); } } } } } } jTree1.setModel(new DefaultTreeModel(root)); jTree1.addTreeSelectionListener(this); jTree1.getSelectionModel().setSelectionMode(TreeSelectionModel.SINGLE_TREE_SELECTION); }

  • How can I automatically generate sql update scripts when some data is updated ?

    - by Brann
    I'd like to automatically generate an update script each time a value is modified in my database. In other words, if a stored procedure, or a query, or whatever updates column a with value b in table c (which as a pk column (i,j...k), I want to generate this : update c set a=b where i=... and j=... and k=... and store it somewhere (for example as a raw string in a table). To complicate things, I want the script to be generated only if the update has been made by a specific user. Good news is that I've got a primary key defined for all my tables. I can see how to do this using a trigger, but I would need to generate specific triggers for each table, and to update them each and every-time my schema changes. I guess there are some built-in ways to do this as SQL server sometimes need to store this kind of things (while using transactional replication for example), but couldn't find anything so far ... any ideas ? I'm also interested in ways to automatically generate triggers (probably using triggers - meta triggers, huh? - since I will need to update triggers automatically when the schema change)

  • symfony doctrine build-sql error

    - by user313571
    I have some big problems with symfony and doctrine at the beginning of a new project. I have created database diagram with mysql workbench, inserted the sql into phpmyadmin and then I've tried symfony doctrine:build-schema to generate the YAML schema. It generates a wrong schema (relations don't have on delete/on update) and after this I've tried symfony doctrine:build --sql and symfony doctrine:insert-sql The insert-sql statement generates error (can't create table ... failing query alter table add constraint ....), so I've decided to take a look over the generated sql and I've found out some differences between the sql generated from mysql workbench (which works perfect, including relations) and the sql generated by doctrine. I'll be short from now: I have to tables, EVENT and FORM and a 1 to n relation (each event may have multiple forms) so the correct constraint (generated with workbench) is ALTER TABLE `form` ADD CONSTRAINT `fk_form_event1` FOREIGN KEY (`event_id`) REFERENCES `event` (`id`) ON DELETE CASCADE ON UPDATE CASCADE; doctrine generated statement is: ALTER TABLE event ADD CONSTRAINT event_id_form_event_id FOREIGN KEY (id) REFERENCES form(event_id); It's totally reversed and I am sure here is the error. What should I do? It's also correct like this?

  • Delete element from Set

    - by Blitzkr1eg
    Hi. I have 2 classes Tema(Homework) and Disciplina (course), where a Course has a Set of homeworks. In Hibernate i have mapped this to a one-to-many associations like this: <class name="model.Disciplina" table="devgar_scoala.discipline" > <id name="id" > <generator class="increment"/> </id> <set name="listaTeme" table="devgar_scoala.teme"> <key column="Discipline_id" not-null="true" ></key> <one-to-many class="model.Tema" ></one-to-many> </set> </class> <class name="model.Tema" table="devgar_scoala.teme" > <id name="id"> <generator class="increment" /> </id> <property name="titlu" type="string" /> <property name="cerinta" type="binary"> <column name="cerinta" sql-type="blob" /> </property> </class> The problem is that it will add (insert rows in the table 'Teme') but it won't delete any rows and i get no exceptions thrown. Im using the merge() method.

Win32 dll C++ // .h file #ifdef IMPORTDLL_EXPORTS #define IMPORTDLL_API __declspec(dllexport) #else #define IMPORTDLL_API __declspec(dllimport) #endif // This class is exported from the ImportDLL.dll class IMPORTDLL_API CImportDLL { public: CImportDLL(void); // TODO: add your methods here. int Add(int a , int b); }; extern IMPORTDLL_API int nImportDLL; IMPORTDLL_API int fnImportDLL(void); IMPORTDLL_API int fnMultiply(int a,int b); // .cpp file // ImportDLL.cpp : Defines the exported functions for the DLL application. // #include "stdafx.h" #include "ImportDLL.h" // This is an example of an exported variable IMPORTDLL_API int nImportDLL=0; // This is an example of an exported function. IMPORTDLL_API int fnImportDLL(void) { return 42; } IMPORTDLL_API int fnMultiply(int a , int b) { return (a*b); } Once i build this i get ImportDLL.dll Now i create Windows Application and add this dll in debug folder and try to use this method using DLLImport [DllImport("ImportDLL.dll")] public static extern int fnMultiply(int a, int b); And I try to call this in C# int a = fnMultiply(5, 6); // This line gives error Unable to find an entry point Can any body tell what i am missing? Thanks.

  • C# using the "this" keyword in this situation?

    - by Alex
    Hi, I've completed a OOP course assignment where I design and code a Complex Number class. For extra credit, I can do the following: Add two complex numbers. The function will take one complex number object as a parameter and return a complex number object. When adding two complex numbers, the real part of the calling object is added to the real part of the complex number object passed as a parameter, and the imaginary part of the calling object is added to the imaginary part of the complex number object passed as a parameter. Subtract two complex numbers. The function will take one complex number object as a parameter and return a complex number object. When subtracting two complex numbers, the real part of the complex number object passed as a parameter is subtracted from the real part of the calling object, and the imaginary part of the complex number object passed as a parameter is subtracted from the imaginary part of the calling object. I have coded this up, and I used the this keyword to denote the current instance of the class, the code for my add method is below, and my subtract method looks similar: public ComplexNumber Add(ComplexNumber c) { double realPartAdder = c.GetRealPart(); double complexPartAdder = c.GetComplexPart(); double realPartCaller = this.GetRealPart(); double complexPartCaller = this.GetComplexPart(); double finalRealPart = realPartCaller + realPartAdder; double finalComplexPart = complexPartCaller + complexPartAdder; ComplexNumber summedComplex = new ComplexNumber(finalRealPart, finalComplexPart); return summedComplex; } My question is: Did I do this correctly and with good style? (using the this keyword)?

  • Visual Studio identical token highlighting

    - by dsteinweg
    I coded a Mancala game in Java for a college class this past spring, and I used the Eclipse IDE to write it. One of the great (and fairly simple) visual aids in Eclipse is if you select a particular token, say a declared variable, then the IDE will automatically highlight all other references to that token on your screen. Notepad++, my preferred Notepad replacement, also does this. Another neat and similar feature in Eclipse was the vertical "error bar" to the right of your code (not sure what to call it). It display little red boxes for all of the syntax errors in your document, yellow boxes for warnings like "variable declared but not used", and if you select a word, boxes appear in the bar for each occurance of the word in the document. A screenshot of these features in action: After a half hour of searching, I've determined that Visual Studio cannot do this on its own, so my question is: does anyone know of any add-ins for 2005 or 2008 that can provide either one of the aforementioned features? Being able to highlight the current line your cursor is on would be nice too. I believe the add-in ReSharper can do this, but I'd prefer to use a free add-in rather than purchase one.

  • DroDownlist in DataGrid produces Error

    - by S Nash
    I have a DataGrid and everytime I change value of it's embeded dropdwonlist I get: "System.Web.HttpException: The IListSource does not contain any data sources." I have a data grid which loads fine: Name column is editable. I have a dropdownlist these : DataDataGrid gets its value from a table. (Select Name, Address From Persons) Dropdown list also gets list of names from the same table. So DataGrid and dropdownlist are bound to 2 different datasets. Here is my code for dataGrid" <Columns> <ASP:ButtonColumn Text="Delete" CommandName="Delete"></ASP:ButtonColumn> <asp:EditCommandColumn ButtonType="LinkButton" UpdateText="Update" CancelText="Cancel" EditText="Edit"></asp:EditCommandColumn> <ASP:TemplateColumn HeaderText="Name" SortExpression="FY" HeaderStyle-HorizontalAlign="center" HeaderStyle-Wrap="True"> <ItemStyle Wrap="false" HorizontalAlign="left" /> <ItemTemplate> <ASP:Label ID="Name" Text='<%# DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "Name") %>' runat="server"/> </ItemTemplate> <EditItemTemplate> <ASP:DropDownList id="ddlName" cssClass="DropDownList" runat="server" datasource="<%#allNames%>" DataTextField= "Name" DataValueField="ID" Defaultvalue='<%# DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "ID") %>' OnPreRender="SetDefaultListItem" accessKey="I" AutoPostBack="true" /> </EditItemTemplate> </ASP:TemplateColumn> <asp:BoundColumn DataField="Address" ReadOnly="True" HeaderText="Address"></asp:BoundColumn> </Columns> Error happens here : dg.DataSource = ds dg.DataBind() Any ideas how to solve this issues? All I want is a DataGrid with a editable column ,which can be edited by choosing one of the value of in a dropdownlist.

  • Web Shop Schema - Document Db

    - by Maxem
    I'd like to evaluate a document db, probably mongo db in an ASP.Net MVC web shop. A little reasoning at the beginning: There are about 2 million products. The product model would be pretty bad for rdbms as there'd be many different kinds of products with unique attributes. For example, there'd be books which have isbn, authors, title, pages etc as well as dvds with play time, directors, artists etc and quite a few more types. In the end, I'd have about 9 different products with a combined column count (counting common columns like title only once) of about 70 to 100 whereas each individual product has 15 columns at most. The three commonly used ways in RDBMS would be: EAV model which would have pretty bad performance characteristics and would make it either impractical or perform even worse if I'd like to display the author of a book in a list of different products (think start page, recommended products etc.). Ignore the column count and put it all in the product table: Although I deal with somewhat bigger databases (row wise), I don't have any experience with tables with more than 20 columns as far as performance is concered but I guess 100 columns would have some implications. Create a table for each product type: I personally don't like this approach as it complicates everything else. C# Driver / Classes: I'd like to use the NoRM driver and so far I think i'll try to create a product dto that contains all properties (grouped within detail classes like book details, except for those properties that should be displayed on list views etc.). In the app I'll use BookBehavior / DvdBehaviour which are wrappers around a product dto but only expose the revelent Properties. My questions now: Are my performance concerns with the many columns approach valid? Did I overlook something and there is a much better way to do it in an RDBMS? Is MongoDb on Windows stable enough? Does my approach with different behaviour wrappers make sense?

  • Join two tables with same # of row but sorted for NULL

    - by VISQL
    I need to join two tables with the same number of rows. Each table has 1 column. There is NO CONNECTING COLUMN to reference for a join. I need to join them side by side because each table was sorted separately so that numeric values are at the top in descinding order. The Table Earners has income values from say 200K down to 0. I cannot just select using 2 cases, because then I will have my first row with Incomes above 100K, but the first 20 or so entries in the second row are NULL. I want the second row to also be sorted descending. I looked up using ORDER BY within CASE but there is no such thing. I have tried to read about row_number() but none of the examples seem to match or make sense. drop table #20plus select case when Income >= 20000 AND Income < 100000 then Income end as 'mula' into #20plus from Earners order by mula desc drop table #100plus select case when Income >= 100000 then Income end as 'dinero' into #100plus from Earners order by dinero desc Select A.dinero, B.mula FROM #100plus as A JOIN #20plus as B ON A.????? = B.????? Since both A and B are sorted descending, moving all NULL to the bottom, what can I reference to join the two tables? • OpenGL Calls Lock/Freeze

    - by Necrolis
    I am using some dell workstations(running WinXP Pro SP 2 & DeepFreeze) for development, but something was recenlty loaded onto these machines that prevents any opengl call(the call locks) from completing(and I know the code works as I have tested it on 'clean' machines, I also tested with simple opengl apps generated by dev-cpp, which will also lock on the dell machines). I have tried to debug my own apps to see where exactly the gl calls freeze, but there is some global system hook on ZwQueryInformationProcess that messes up calls to ZwQueryInformationThread(used by ExitThread), preventing me from debugging at all(it causes the debugger, OllyDBG, to go into an access violation reporting loop or the program to crash if the exception is passed along). the hook: ntdll.ZwQueryInformationProcess 7C90D7E0 B8 9A000000 MOV EAX,9A 7C90D7E5 BA 0003FE7F MOV EDX,7FFE0300 7C90D7EA FF12 CALL DWORD PTR DS:[EDX] 7C90D7EC - E9 0F28448D JMP 09D50000 7C90D7F1 9B WAIT 7C90D7F2 0000 ADD BYTE PTR DS:[EAX],AL 7C90D7F4 00BA 0003FE7F ADD BYTE PTR DS:[EDX+7FFE0300],BH 7C90D7FA FF12 CALL DWORD PTR DS:[EDX] 7C90D7FC C2 1400 RETN 14 7C90D7FF 90 NOP ntdll.ZwQueryInformationToken 7C90D800 B8 9C000000 MOV EAX,9C the messed up function + call: ntdll.ZwQueryInformationThread 7C90D7F0 8D9B 000000BA LEA EBX,DWORD PTR DS:[EBX+BA000000] 7C90D7F6 0003 ADD BYTE PTR DS:[EBX],AL 7C90D7F8 FE ??? ; Unknown command 7C90D7F9 7F FF JG SHORT ntdll.7C90D7FA 7C90D7FB 12C2 ADC AL,DL 7C90D7FD 14 00 ADC AL,0 7C90D7FF 90 NOP ntdll.ZwQueryInformationToken 7C90D800 B8 9C000000 MOV EAX,9C So firstly, anyone know what if anything would lead to OpenGL calls cause an infinite lock,and if there are any ways around it? and what would be creating such a hook in kernal memory ? Update: After some more fiddling, I have discovered a few more kernal hooks, a lot of them are used to nullify data returned by system information calls(such as the remote debugging port), I also managed to find out the what ever is doing this is using madchook.dll(by madshi) to do this, this dll is also injected into every running process(these seem to be some anti debugging code). Also, on the OpenGL side, it seems Direct X is fine/unaffected(I ran one of the DX 9 demo's without problems), so could one of these kernal hooks somehow affect OpenGL?

  • Poor performance using RMI-proxies with Swing components

    - by Patrick
    I'm having huge performance issues when I add RMI proxy references to a Java Swing JList-component. I'm retrieving a list of user Profiles with RMI from a server. The retrieval itself takes just a second or so, so that's acceptable under the circumstances. However, when I try to add these proxies to a JList, with the help of a custom ListModel and a CellRenderer, it takes between 30-60 seconds to add about 180 objects. Since it is a list of users' names, it's preferrable to present them alphabetically. The biggest performance hit is when I sort the elements as they get added to the ListModel. Since the list will always be sorted, I opted to use the built-in Collections.binarySearch() to find the correct position for the next element to be added, and the comparator uses two methods that are defined by the Profile interface, namely getFirstName() and getLastName(). Is there any way to speed this process up, or am I simply implementing it the wrong way? Or is this a "feature" of RMI? I'd really love to be able to cache some of the data of the remote objects locally, to minimize the remote method calls.

  • WPF: Horizontal Alignment

  • Suggest the way to design several classes

    - by Oleg Tarasenko
    Hi, I'm building simple application on as3. Kind of starship game. What I want to do is to create several different star ships. Each one should have different images (different look), different sets of animation (e.g. when it's flying, burning, damaged), different kind of weapon and also different controllers (e.g. one can be managed by user, another one by computer, and I want to be able to reuse same ships for AI controller as well as for users controls). Each ship is created in the following way: Create entity Add spatial Add renderers Add other components.... ...... n. init the ship So what I am trying to do: 1) Create StarShip superclass, to store HP (as every ship has it), store spatial (same reason) 2) Create inherited class for any other ship... (It will contain renderer - (responsible for display part), weapon, set of animations), etc What do you think about such way of composition? Maybe it's better to place everything in super class, and then just create instances using long, long, long constructors like: StarShip(hp:HP, animations:DICT, weapon:Weapon, ....) Need advice

  • Query to MySQL from c# returns System.Byte[]

    - by karthik
    I am using the below SP to return the value of Generated Insert statement and it works fine when executed in Query browser. When i try to get the value from C#, it give's me "System.Byte[]" as return value. When i try to get the value from MySql query browser, it give's me return value as : 'insert into admindb.accounts values("54321","2","karthik2","karthik2","1");' I guess the problem is with the single quotes of the returned value. Is it so ? • Adding web reference on client when using Net.TCP

    - by Marko
    Hi everyone... I am trying to using Net.TCP in my WCF Service, which is self hosted, when i try to add this service reference through web reference to my client, i am not able access the classes and methods of that service, can any have any idea to achieve this... How I can add web references in this case. My Service has one method (GetNumber) that returns int. WebService: public class WebService : IWebService { public int GetNumber(int num) { return num + 1; } } Service Contract code: [ServiceContract] public interface IWebService { [OperationContract] int GetNumber(int num); } WCF Service code: ServiceHost host = new ServiceHost(typeof(WebService)); host.AddServiceEndpoint(typeof(IWebService), new NetTcpBinding(), new Uri("net.tcp://" + Dns.GetHostName() + ":1255/WebService")); NetTcpBinding binding = new NetTcpBinding(); binding.TransferMode = TransferMode.Streamed; binding.ReceiveTimeout = TimeSpan.MaxValue; binding.MaxReceivedMessageSize = long.MaxValue; Console.WriteLine("{0}", Dns.GetHostName().ToString()); Console.WriteLine("Opening Web Service..."); host.Open(); Console.WriteLine("Web Service is running on port {0}",1255); Console.WriteLine("Press <ENTER> to EXIT"); Console.ReadLine(); This works fine. Only problem is how to add references of this service in my client application. I just want to send number and to receive an answer. Can anyone help me?

  • Problem with setVisible (true)

    - by Jessy
    The two examples shown below are same. Both are supposed to produce same result e.g. generate the coordinates of images displayed on JPanel. Example 1, works perfectly (print the coordinates of images), however example 2 returning 0 for the coordinate. I was wondering why because, I have put the setvisible (true) after adding the panel, in both examples. The only difference is that example 1 used extends JPanel and example 2 extends JFrame EXAMPLE 1: public class Grid extends JPanel{ public static void main(String[] args){ JFrame jf=new JFrame(); jf.setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE); final Grid grid = new Grid(); jf.add(grid); jf.pack(); Component[] components = grid.getComponents(); for (Component component : components) { System.out.println("Coordinate: "+ component.getBounds()); } jf.setVisible(true); } } EXAMPLE 2: public class Grid extends JFrame { public Grid () { setLayout(new GridBagLayout()); GridBagLayout m = new GridBagLayout(); Container c = getContentPane(); c.setLayout (m); GridBagConstraints con = new GridBagConstraints(); //construct the JPanel pDraw = new JPanel(); ... m.setConstraints(pDraw, con); pDraw.add (new GetCoordinate ()); // call new class to generate the coordinate c.add(pDraw); pack(); setVisible(true); } public static void main(String[] args) { new Grid(); } }

  • Binding a ListBox's SelectedItem in the presence of BindingNavigator

    - by Reinderien
    Hello. I'm trying to bind a ListBox's SelectedItem data to a property. The following code is an example: using System; using System.Collections.Generic; using System.Windows.Forms; namespace BindingFailure { static class Program { class OuterObject { public string selected { get; set; } public List<string> strings { get; set; } } public static void Main() { List<OuterObject> objs = new List<OuterObject>() { new OuterObject(), new OuterObject() }; objs[0].strings = new List<string> { "one", "two", "three" }; objs[1].strings = new List<string> { "four", "five", "six" }; Form form = new Form(); BindingSource obs = new BindingSource(objs, null), ibs = new BindingSource(obs, "strings"); BindingNavigator nav = new BindingNavigator(obs); ListBox lbox = new ListBox(); lbox.DataSource = ibs; lbox.DataBindings.Add(new Binding("SelectedItem", obs, "selected")); form.Controls.Add(nav); form.Controls.Add(lbox); lbox.Location = new System.Drawing.Point(30, 30); Application.Run(form); } } } If you just select an item, move forward, select an item and then exit, it works as expected. But if you switch back and forth between the two outer objects with the navigator, the selected item seems to be overwritten with an incorrect value. Ideas on how to fix this? Thanks in advance.
