    Im trying to achieve an output like this {"status":"ok","0":{"id":"11","title":"digg","url":"http://www.digg.com"}} but instead i am getting this {"status":"ok","0":{"id":"11","title":"digg","url":"http:\/\/www.digg.com"}} this is the php code im using to generate the json $links = array('id'=>'11','title'=>'digg','url'=>"http://www.digg.com"); $msg = array('status'=>'ok',$links); echo json_encode($msg); any idea what is causing this?

  • Sqlite issues with HTC Desire HD

    Recently I have been getting a lot of complaints about the HTC Desire series and it failing while invoking sql statements. I have received reports from users with log snapshots that contain the following. I/Database( 2348): sqlite returned: error code = 8, msg = statement aborts at 1: [pragma journal_mode = WAL;] E/Database( 2348): sqlite3_exec to set journal_mode of /data/data/my.app.package/files/localized_db_en_uk-1.sqlite to WAL failed followed by my app basically burning in flames because the call to open the database results in a serious runtime error that manifests itself as the cursor being left open. There shouldn't be a cursor at this point as we are trying to open it. This only occurs with the HTC Desire HD and Z. My code basically does the following (changed a little to isolate the problem area).   • Using @Secured Annotation causes IS_FULLY_AUTHENTICATED problem in grails

    I'm using Acegi/Spring Security in grails and when i use the annotations like @Secured(['ROLE_ADMIN']) it denies my login even though the user is part of ROLE_ADMIN. In looking through the login is it seems that it's getting an IS_AUTHENTICATED_FULLY role also but I have never added that to a page so i'm not sure how to bypass that. I read somewhere to preauthorize the user, but i'm not sure how to do that with grails.

  • Using PyUNO on Windows and CentOS

    Is there any way to use OpenOffice's PyUNO without using the version of Python that comes with OpenOffice? I mean, can I install a package (on Windows and CentOS) that uses the version of Python that's already on the server? I'm trying to use OpenOffice in headless mode so that I can do document conversion with a script (ultimately on a hosted server running CentOS) but my development work is being done on Windows and occassionally the Mac). I'm having nothing but trouble getting this to work.

  • Rule of thumb for capitalizing the letters in a programming language

    I was wondering if anyone knew why some programming languages that I see most frequently spelled in all caps (like an acronym), are also commonly written in lower case. FORTRAN, LISP, and COBOL come to mind but I'm sure there are many more. Perhaps there isn't any reason for this, but I'm curious to know if any of these changes are due to standards or decisions by their respective communities. Or are people just getting too lazy to hit the caps lock key? (I know I am)

  • Are there any .net classes/functions that are optimized for multiple cores?

    I know that the developer is supposed to do this himself. But seeing how we are getting cpu's with more and more cores and there are still many developers who do not use multithreading, if we have this functionality built in, it could increase performance dramatically in some scenarios. One particular example where this could be quite useful is in image processing. I doubt that the built in GDI+ classes are multithreaded.

  • Best way to get a Web Service to return a database result as XML?

    I am building a webservice using jax-rs and querying a DB2 z/OS database with SQLJ and getting the result set as an arraylist. I would like to return this list as XML, but not sure how to do it. Does anyone have an example of returning a result set as XML and is using an Arraylist the best way to do this? Should I use JAXB? if so how?

  • On iPhone, what does EPERM (errno == 1) mean in reponse to send() of UDP data?

    We sending data over UDP from the iPhone, sometimes, but not always, in response to our first send() of UDP data, we are getting back a -1 return code and errno set to 1 (EPERM / operation not permitted). The EPERM result for send(), sendto() and sendmsg() is not documented in the man pages as a return result from those functions. Has anyone out there encountered this and might be able to shed some light on what this errno value means in this context?

    (I am running Linux Ubuntu 9.10, so the extension for an executable is executablefile.out) I am just getting into modular programming (programming with multiple files) in C and I want to know how to compile multiple files in a single makefile. For example, what would be the makefile to compile these files: main.c, dbAdapter.c, dbAdapter.h?     Ive been battling with the oAuth flow for a while with my twitter app. I finally got my access token granted, and now i cant call the twitter update url without getting an 'invalid nonce' error, yet im building and signing the URL in the exact same way as when calling the request and access token methods. Has anyone else had this problem, and do you know how to solve it??

    Hi, I'm trying to redirect from one controller to another in Rails and I am getting this error: undefined method `call' for nil:NilClass The code is pretty simple (in def create method): @blog_post_comment = BlogPostComment.new(params[:blog_post_comment]) respond_to do |format| if @blog_post_comment.save flash[:notice] = 'Comment was successfully created.' redirect_to(@blog_post_comment.blog_post) else render :action => "new" end end Save goes ok, the value gets into the database. How can I work around the redirect fail?

    Hi there. I'm trying to build a simple cluster based on Windows XP. I compiled OpenMPI-1.4.2 successfully, and tools like mpicc and ompi_info work too, but I can't get my mpirun working properly. Error code = -2147417850 [host0:04728] [[8946,0],0] ORTE_ERROR_LOG: Error in file ..\..\openmpi-1.4.2 \orte\mca\ess\hnp\ess_hnp_module.c at line 218 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- It looks like orte_init failed for some reason; your parallel process is likely to abort. There are many reasons that a parallel process can fail during orte_init; some of which are due to configuration or environment problems. More information may be available above. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I googled a little and did all the things as described here: http://www.open-mpi.org/community/lists/users/2010/03/12355.php but I'm still getting the same error. Can anyone help me? Upd2: Error code -2147024891 might be WMI error WBEM_E_INVALID_PARAMETER (0x80041008) which occures when one of the parameters passed to the WMI call is not correct. Does this mean that the problem is in OpenMPI source code itself? Or maybe it's because of wrong/outdated wincred.h and credui.lib I used while building OpenMPI from the source code?

  • get pure text form odt file in console

    I am looking for a small linux tool that would be able to extract text from odt file. It just needs to be human-readable and it can have problems with complicated objects etc. It's almost a duplicate of this question but I need it to be small and have no dependencies on OpenOffice or X server I remember having a 1MB MS-DOS program that could render .doc files quite readibly (with some weird markup getting through from time to time), so i expect it to be possible in the linux world too ;)
