    Is it possible to disallow free text entry in the JQuery UI autocomplete widget? eg I only want the user to be allowed to select from the list of items that are presented in the autocomplete list, and dont want them to be able to write some random text.     I want to send an email from within my iPhone application, primarily because i don't want to quit my application. Is there ANY way to do that? Solution: 1) I found this open source API which does that: http://code.google.com/p/skpsmtpmessage/ Anyone can write their own smtp client for this purpose.     I am new to ASP.NET having some basic doubts. 1) The public assemblies are deployed in GAC.Even when i go for "Add Reference ", I can not point to c:\windows\assembly ( i hope it is not possible) .Still i need to refer the assembly from ..\Bin folder of the source project ( custom assembly).Is there any consideration behind it? 2 ) Why exe is not allowed in GAC ?

  • Is it possible for a java.lang.Process to inherit the environement variables from another java.lang.

    I am trying to use groovy to do shell scripting on unix, but I am not having any luck having one process retain the environment variables changed by another process. For example, def p1 = ["bash", "-c", "source /some/setEnv.sh"].execute() Now, I would like a second process, p2, to inherit the environment variables that was set in p1. How can I do this? I don't see anything in java.lang.Process or its groovy extension that would spit out the environment variables after the process has executed.

  • Windows PE - Where and how are strings stored if not in resources?

    Usually strings (like content/titles of dialog boxes) in .exe files are stored in some sort of resources. But in some recent exes I disassembled/resource-inspected I couldn't find any resources containing the string but it was somehow hardcoded with db's into the program source code. How can I extract and modify strings directly located in the program? I assume those are just the equivalent to const char*s in C++? Why would someone not "outsource" the contents of dialog boxes, menus, etc?

But have the source of the audio be streamed from over a network(I know how to stream the audio over the network in VB.net) but how do I get that audio which has been streamed as the input to the virtual microphone?
