  • Gaining access to jndi environment variables within a Tomcat LifecycleListener

    I'm using a LifecycleListener in tomcat to initialize some objects required by contexts in my web server. Within LifecycleListener I would like to have access to GlobalNamingResources Environment variables to keep the configuration for the server inside the server.xml file. When trying various approaches I get the following error: javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: Name java:comp is not bound in this Context I'm assuming that the jndi is not initialized by this stage of the server startup process. Any ideas on how to tackle this?

According to the tutorial, running xjc on the schema, one will get PurchaseOrder.java interface and PurchaseOrderType.java interface. When I run xjc on my schema I only get a ProjectType.java class, and when the xml actually consist of a single element, this won't parse, because there are no Project.java class/interface to match.

This has been discussed here in 2007 http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/devdocs/thread/1d0c4259-a1ec-44e7-8e37-ec936dfde854 the author said it would be solved but I downloaded the package a few days ago to try it and still get this error. Anybody uses Sandcastle Help File Builder ?

    I am writing a module for my organization to cache XML feeds to static files to an arbitrary place on our webserver. I am new at Drupal development, and would like to know if I am approaching this the right way. Basically I: Expose a url via the menu hook, where a user can enter in a an output directory on the webserver and press the "dump" button and then have PHP go to drupal and get the feed xml. I don't need help with that functionality, because I actually have a prototype working in Python (outside of Drupal).. Provide a callback for the form where I can do my logic, using the form parameters.     I have Maven multi-module project with such structure: parent-pom-project -- module1 -- module2 At the parent-pom-project I have such pom.xml <modules> <module>module1</module> </modules> ... <profiles> <profile> <id>local</id> <properties> <prop>local_prop</prop> </properties> </profile> <profile> <id>test</id> <modules> <module>module2</module> </modules> <properties> <prop>test_prop</prop> </properties> </profile> </profiles> At all pom.xml files I have such tag: <build> <resources> <resource> <directory>src/main/resources</directory> <filtering>true</filtering> </resource> <resource> <directory>src/test/resources</directory> <filtering>true</filtering> </resource> </resources> </build> At module1 and module2 in resource directory I have properties files with such text: prop=${prop} The problem is that after mvn clean install or mvn clean install -Ptest or even mvn clean install -P test I get prop=local_prop If I user test profile for build module2 is also builded, but properties are used from local profile. I use Maven 3.0.3. Anybody have any ideas?

    Guys, I wanted generate the pmd report while building the project so I have added plugin to build section of my pom.xml but still it don't execute until I explicitly call mvn clean install pmd:pmd. The application consists of typical layers webappdao etc What I have tried is to use one single spring-root-context.xml by setting it in the contextConfigLocation.   • Searching in Ruby on Rails - How do I search on each word entered and not the exact string?

    I have built a blog application w/ ruby on rails and I am trying to implement a search feature. The blog application allows for users to tag posts. The tags are created in their own table and belong_to :post. When a tag is created, so is a record in the tag table where the name of the tag is tag_name and associated by post_id. Tags are strings. I am trying to allow a user to search for any word tag_name in any order. Here is what I mean. Lets say a particular post has a tag that is 'ruby code controller'. In my current search feature, that tag will be found if the user searches for 'ruby', 'ruby code', or 'ruby code controller'. It will not be found if the user types in 'ruby controller'. Essentially what I am saying is that I would like each word entered in the search to be searched for, not necessarily the 'string' that is entered into the search. I have been experimenting with providing multiple textfields to allow the user to type in multiple words, and also have been playing around with the code below, but can't seem to accomplish the above. I am new to ruby and rails so sorry if this is an obvious question and prior to installing a gem or plugin I thought I would check to see if there was a simple fix.   • Rails, Edit page update in a window

    I have my code working so that I have a table of businesses. There's a pencil icon you can click on the edit the business information. The edit information comes up in a partial inside of a modal pop up box. The only problem is that once they make the changes they want and click update, it sends them to the 'show' page for that business. What I want to happen is have the pop up box close and have it update the information.     I am writing my first Spring 3.0.5 MVC app and am confused about why my controller mappings aren't doing what I expect.   • Getting 404 when attempting to POST file to Google Cloud Storage from service account

    I'm wondering if anyone can tell me the proper syntax & formatting for a service account to send a POST Object to bucket request? I'm attempting it programmatically using the HttpComponents library. I manage to get a token from my GoogleCredential, but every time I construct the POST request, I get: HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?><Error><Code>AccessDenied</Code><Message>Access denied.</Message><Detailsbucket-name</Details></Error The Google documentation that describes the request methods, mentions posting using html forms, but I'm hoping that wasn't suggesting the ONLY way to get the job done. I know that HttpComponents has a way to explicitly create form data by using UrlEncodedFormEntity, but it doesn't support multipart data. Which is why I went with using the MultipartEntity class.
