  • Return current web path in PHP

    Hi All Currently developing a PHP framework and have ran into my first problem. I need to be able to drop the framework into any folder on a server, no matter how many folders deep, and need to find that directory to use as a base URL. For example, it currently works if I put the framework in the root of the server (http://cms.dev/), but if I were to put it in http://cms.dev/folder/ it does not work. Please advise, any comments welcome. BenTheDesigner

  • CSS Unwanted padding in IE using floats.

    It's been a long day of designing and I ran into a problem today. The website www.dcninc.com/newtest/security_testing.php is a new design I'm working on at work right now. If you view it in Firefox you will notice there is no padding on the 2 right boxes (I did that on purpose to trouble shoot my problem) However if you view that same page in IE, it adds padding to the right side.     Hi, I've been struggling with the following rule: RewriteRule ^subdomains/example.com/(.*)$ http://www.example.com/$1 [R=301,L] I'm trying to redirect anything that occurs after the folder /subdomains/example.com/ to http://www.example.com/ whilst including any filename or extra folder path information. E.g: www.olddomain.com/subdomains/example.com/index.html - www.example.com/index.html www.olddomain.com/subdomains/example.com/files/ - www.example.com/files/ www.olddomain.com/subdomains/example.com/files/index.html - www.example.com/files/index.html Any help would be greatly appreciated!   • joomla site not run exactly in root server.

    when i run joomla in localhost, it works fine... But when i run it in the root server it output the bellow result:: 404 Not Found The server can not find the requested page: http://173.236.31.34/~interair/interaircon/www.interaircon.com/index.html (port 80) But if i give the link with index.php then output correctly:: Say - http://173.236.31.34/~interair/interaircon/index.php i want a solution about this problem. But i have a problem when i create a admin folder.WHen access "http://localhost/tradesalvage/demo/admin/add-data" , it goes to the 404 error page.How do I write the rule to skip the admin folder ?

  • jQuery animate slidding background image using mouse position wont stop... just keeps going

    I have a neat little jQuery script I am working on. Goal: parent div with overflow hidden holds a larger div with image. When I move the mouse to the left or right of the parent div, the div with image changes margin-left to move left or right. Problem is... if I move the mouse out of the parent div (left or right), the image keeps going. I need the image to stop when the mouse is not on the inside left or right edge of the parent div.     I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing wrong, and I can't figure out how to Google it because a common mistake is very prevalent. I have the parent's height explicitly set, but I can't get #main-sub-content 's height to 100%.     The answer in this post http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2119680/use-jquery-to-check-if-a-url-on-another-domain-is-404-or-not shows how to use YQL in Jquery to check if URL is valid or not. However, I can't get this to work for me. The only difference I can think of is that my URL is a text file (http://mycrossdomain.com/sometext.txt) and not HTML.I think the YQL query needs to be adjusted accordingly. Any help is appreciated.

  • Zend Framework 1.1 Modules setup

    i used zend_tool to setup a project then to create module blog with index controller etc but i guess the default config setup by zend_tool does not work with modules so i edited it resources.frontController.moduleDirectory = APPLICATION_PATH "/modules" resources.frontController.moduleDirectoryControllerName = "controllers" i guess these are required for modules? also i moved the folders, controllers, models, views into the modules/ folder but i get a blank screen when i try to go to http://servername which shld load Default module's index controller and action. even if i try to go http://servername/nonexistentpage it also shows a blank screen instead of a 404
