  I am using a javascript function (F) (jquery )which uses 3 select values selected by the user to calculates a value - R(result) R is a number ranging from (1 through 9), (11) and (22); I need 2 extra steps one before the calculation and one after. a. Before calculation takes place: Make sure all three select values are changed before function(F) takes place. If not prompt the user with a notice ( create dom element/ I am using jquery) b. After the value R is calculated show an element corresponding to the result e.g. if R is 1 show an element ( a predetermined "link" element corresponding to each result value) thanks a lot.

• mysql db connection

  hi there i have been searching the web for a connection between my android simulator and a mysql db. I've fount that you can't connect directly but via a webserver. The webserver wil handle my request from my android. I fount the following code on www.helloandroid.com But i don't understand. If i run this code on the simulator nothing happens. The screen stays black. Where does Log.i land. In the android screen or in the error log or somewhere else? I know how to fetch data and put into table, but I don't know how to show table if it is hidden. • Javascript in chrome plugin has syntax error

  Assume I connect to SQL server 2008 via SQL Server Management Studio ( SSMS ) and open new window W1 by clicking on New Query tab and write the following inside W1: BEGIN TRANSACTION; If I execute this statement 5 times, and then write (inside W1) SELECT @@TRANCOUNT; , then the value returned will be 5. But if I open another window W2 ( inside the same SSMS instance and thus on the same connection ) and write inside W2 SELECT @@TRANCOUNT; then value returned will be 0. @@TRANCOUNT variable returns the number of active transactions for the current connection. Both W1 and W2 windows were opened on the same connection, so shouldn’t ( according to the above quote ) in both W1 and W2 variable @@TRANCOUNT hold the same value? thanx

  I have a set of checkboxes with multiple choice allowed. However, the Python script just bugs. If i change dataTrap.route_days value to a string instead of the JSON encoded object, everything works fine. My question is: how can i pass a checkbox set to the script using Ajax and still be able to iterate over it on the script?

• Trouble using Prototype JS

  I have three files named like: AjxDm.php db_test website.php What I am trying to do is AjxDm.php in this file I click and I am using Ajax.Request and it directed me to the db_test.php. In this file I am retrieving a value from the database and I assign the value into a dropdown. Again when I try to select one of the options in the dropdown it is direceting me to the Website.php using Ajax.Request with the dropdown selected value and retrieve data from database and display. The problem is that when I call from AjxDm.php to Db_test it works but when I select option in db_test.php it doesn't find a JavaScript function which direct me to the website.php. What can I do to make it work?

  I'm trying to modify the HTML of the dialog boxes in CKEditor. The HTML inside each of those boxes is an absolute nightmare, and even worse, the source code is compressed and it's unclear what the path of execution is. I know I can change the value of i by using *iPtr, but how can I change the value of the object being pointed to by jPtr? How will changing the object being pointed to by jPtr affect the value of the object pointed to by iPtr, and i ?

Since the list is sorted there must be a way to get the index with O(log n). • Get positions for NAs only in the "middle" of a matrix column

  I want to obtain an index that refers to the positions of NA values in a matrix where the index is true if a given cell is NA and there is at least one non-NA value before and after it in the column. For example, given the following matrix [,1] [,2] [,3] [,4] [1,] NA 1 NA 1 [2,] 1 NA NA 2 [3,] NA 2 NA 3 the only value of the index that comes back TRUE should be [2,2]. Is there a compact expression for what I want to do? If I had to I could loop through columns and use something like min(which(!is.na(x[,i]))) to find the first non-NA value in each column, and then set all values before that to FALSE (and the same for all values after the max). This way I would not select leading and trailing NA values. But this seems a bit messy, so I'm wondering if there is a cleaner expression that does this without loops.

Then after spliting values each value I get contains extra space character after each character in String. Suppose value in file is like "ABC" and I got this after reading from CSV file reader as " A B C " . I used removeAll("\s+","") on each value even after it is not working. Thank You in Advance.

  Is there a way of using a templated helper in mvc so that each and every select list in my project has a custom default 'Choose an option' with null value etc. The posts I have seen seem a little complex, is it possible to have a DropDownList.ascx file in shared view folder with something like this: <%@ Control Language="C#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl<IEnumerable<SelectListItem>>" %> <%= Html.DropDownList(selectlist name, selectlist value, "Choose an option")%> And then having a UIHint("DropDownList") for each dropdownlist in the ViewModel? Some guidance on syntax of parameters would be much appreciated, where name and value of the viewmodel dropdownlist plus the 'Choose an option' string are passed. Or is this all wishful thinking?

• How do I get property injection working in Ninject for a ValidationAttribute in MVC?

  I have a validation attribute set up where I need to hit the database to accomplish the validation. I tried setting up property injection the same way I do elsewhere in the project but it's not working.
