• HTML Encoding Charset Problem I think?

  Hi People. I've been asked to add a testimonial to this page... http://www.orchardkitchens.com/Showroom/testimonials.html As you will see there are funny characters showing up all over the place, and it has thrown the structure of the page out. • Facebook Connect via Javascript doesn't close and doesn't pass session id

However after authentication, the popup window just stays open and the main window is not directed anywhere. In fact, it is the popup window that goes to "/register/step2" How can I get the login window to close as expected, and to pass the facebook session id to /register/step2? Thanks!

• How to mock test a web service in PHPUnit across multiple tests?

  I am attempting to test a web service interface class using PHPUnit. Basically, this class makes calls to a SoapClient object. I am attempting to test this class in PHPUnit using the "getMockFromWsdl" method described here: http://www.phpunit.de/manual/current/en/test-doubles.html#test-doubles.stubbing-and-mocking-web-services However, since I want to test multiple methods from this same class, every time I setup the object, I also have to setup the mock WSDL SoapClient object. This is causing a fatal error to be thrown: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class xxxx in C:\web\php5\PEAR\PHPUnit\Framework\TestCase.php(1227) : eval()'d code on line 15 How can I use the same mock object across multiple tests without having to regenerate it off the WSDL each time? That seems to be the problem.

• Using psftp to upload and download files

  Hello I am trying to upload and download files from my desktop to my server. Now after some search I did download psftp. I used to use filezilla earlier, but I cannot install it on my desktop due to a few reasons. Since psftp (similar to putty) is just an executable for file transfer. So now after going through this link http://www.math.tamu.edu/~mpilant/math696/psftp.html. I understood that put and get are two commands I would use to download and upload files. Now when I logon to the server and say get filename, it actually is throwing back an error "local: unable to open filename". I tried that with other files too, and I end up getting the same error. Am I making a mistake or is it a problem with this executable? I did not find relevant tags for this topic, could somebody suggest me the right forum for this issue.

However, when the image has already been cached, it doesn't use the preloading script and thus does not send the play trigger to jplayer. • Saving Blob data from SQLite database to a file

  Hello, I'm trying to save blob data from a SQLite database (Safari cache: Cache.db) to a file, but for some reason sqlite won't read the whole blob. I eventually would like to do this in ruby, but for now something that works directly in sqlite command prompt is fine. Also, I've read all of the entries that talk about this here on stackoverflow, but most of them only discuss the performance of saving images in blobs and the one entry that does show to save blobs to file is in C# which does not help me. • Eclipse Basic Web Development?

  I want to start doing web development with Eclipse. Not Java, tomcat, axis2, or anything else anymore complicated than basic XHTML / JS / CSS development, at this time. Problem 1: I realize that it can edit those files, but its trying to manage my HTML docs as part of "my workspace", and all I want it to do is manage the files as part of my local www server HTdocs directory. Problem 2: I would like to edit WYSIWYG-style, if possible. I tried installing a plug-in for that, but I wasn't able to get w4 toolkit to function properly. This would really help me to speed up development, I think. Follow-up: I've installed WTP and its dependencies (except for the tests portion, which had install problems due to dependencies that were seemingly irreconcilable).

• Google groups not finding discussion thread but regular google search does?

  I'm having a problem with google groups and finding my own discussion threads. I go to the google group (in my case Android developer group) web view and try to search for my thread by entering the extact title of my thread. But it doesn't appear in the search results. On the other hand, when I search for the same title in the regular google web search, I get the thread right on top of the result list. I thought it might take a while until the groups index all new threads, but still after a few days, it still wouldn't show up.   i am on a mac (10.6.3) with snow leopard. i hear that the assembly language i work with has to be valid with the chipset that you use. i am completly new to this i have a basic background in C and Objective-C programming and an almost strong background in php. Ive always wanted to see what assembly is all about. the tutorial ill be looking at is by VTC via (http://www.vtc.com/products/Assembly-Language-Programming-Tutorials.htm). what i want to know is are the tutorials that im about to do compatible with the version of mac that i have? sorry i am completly new to this language although i do recall studying some of it way way back in the day. i do have xcode and what i'm wondering is what kind of document would i open in xcode to work with assembly and does the mac have a built in hex editor (when it comes time to needing it)? thanks

• CSS - Could use some pointers on correct positioning

  Hi, I'm in need for some pointers on positioning. I've got this square which should be centered on the page. And with a logo and a logo font image kinda wrapped around the square. Now, I want this as dynamic as possible, because I use both the square and images elsewhere as well. So I can't really use stiff static positioning. This is the site: www.matkalenderen.no How should I do this? I want to logo to appear on the left side of the square. And the font to appear above the square. And the square itself should be centered. You probably get the picture :) Right now I've got a wrapper around everything, which is also centered.

  stackoverflow, I am experimenting with implementing OpenID in my existing site. I have looked at Plaxo's article on this very subject and I'm a mite confused about something. I am using this PHP OpenID library. I have some code running, and I am getting a unique OpenID back. From myopenid.com, I am getting an id that looks like https://mecablaze.myopenid.com/ But from Yahoo and Google, I am getting an ID that much more cryptic, e.g. https://www.google.com/accounts/o8/id?id=AItOawlbp1cxujdJWDnpx72xVROOw-5V_WzIDZA Are Google's and Yahoo's "gibberish" ids unique for every login user, i.e. is this the value that I use to tie in with existing user on my web app?

• How to display the properties of a Scheduled Task?

  I have C# app that uses a Form to set a bunch of settings. Those settings can be read by a Console App so it can run via the built in Windows Task Scheduler. I would like to be able to simply open up a scheduled task as if I had just opened it from the gui in Windows so the user can set all the settings for the scheduled task. I know I can use a library like http://www.codeproject.com/KB/cs/tsnewlib.aspx but I would rather not have to recreate all the options in a WinForm when everything is already available in Windows. Does anyone know how I can programattically display the built in Windows Task Scheduler from C#?

• Use XSLT to arrange a list of items in a table

  I have a linear list of items which I wish to arrange in a table using XSLT. I wish to specify the number of columns as a parameter. For example, if I have a list of 12 items, I can select a 2x6, 3x4, 4x3 or 6x2 table. I cannot see a general way to do this. I have seen this article: http://www.nedcomp.nl/support/origdocs/xml4/extracted/xpath_hdi_1_4llx.aspx It tells you how to generate a table with a specific number of columns, but does not allow a general case. (Ideally there would be a loop for the xsl:value-of lines). Thanks Mark

• Desktop mono app and MVC/MVP framework

  I am looking for a MVC/MVP (mvp prefferably) framework for my first mono app. There doesn't seem to be too much out there, but I have found the following: http://www.mvcsharp.org/ http://desktoprails.osl.ull.es/doku.php I've been looking into both for some time, and MVC# seems to be closer to what I want. The issue is that MVC# seems to be a .net project and not designed specifically for mono (as opposed to desktop rails), so I'm not 100% sure how it will play with mono. Also, it is under the Microsoft Public License (MsPL), and I am not sure how well that license will play with other components I intend to use that are gpl/mit/apache/etc. So if anyone has any experience with either of these frameworks in mono and can answer any of these questions, I would appreciate any feedback.

  Hello all. I am following the the tutorial at http://www.py2exe.org/index.cgi/Tutorial to figure out how to use py2exe. I get down to step 3 where you are suppose to run the command: python setup.py py2exe I do that and then I get this error: 'python' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. I have python 2.4 installed on my machine. any idea's? I am sure it is something simple.

I want to be able to read the file chunk by chunk and write the file to the response chunk by chunk. Any ideas?

• Database error when deleting entry in my rails app.

  Hi Everyone...again! I have almost everything in my Rails app working, with the exception of detroying entries. I can destroy entries for companies but not kases and people. The following error show when trying to do so: SQLite3::SQLException: no such column: kases_people.kase_id: SELECT * FROM "kases" INNER JOIN "kases_people" ON "kases".id = "kases_people".kase_id WHERE ("kases_people".person_id = 5 ) I suspect this is an error with the party model for the has_many :through associations that I dont fully understand.
