  • How do I branch if message.properties-code exists

    - by skurt
I want to branch if a message-property-code does exist or not. <g:if test="${message(code: 'default.code.foo')}"> true </g:if><g:else> false </g:else> should answer true if there a message property named default.code.foo and false if not. It fails because it answers the code if there is no property for it.

  • Does the .NET Framework 4.0 intaller installs .NET 3.5 as well?

    - by John Doe
.NET 4.0 is meant to run side-by-side with 3.5 and won't run 3.5 apps, which is making me worried about having to instruct my users to download .NET 3.5 instead of just "the latest version". I've read in a blog that the 4.0 installer will install 3.5 as well if it's not already installed but I can't test it right now, did anyone try this or have an answer from a trusted source?

  • simple method that checks text is email with regular expression

    - by user223863
Can't believe how difficult this seems to be all I want to is to validate a user inout using javascript to make sure that it is an email address. But can't get it to work: I am using: //validates a regulaer expression Utilities2.prototype.validateEmail = function(stringToValidateArg) { alert('about to check regexp'); var regExpPattern = /^[a-zA-Z0-9._-]+@[a-zA-Z0-9.-]+\.[a-zA-Z]{2,4}$/; alert(regExpPattern.test(stringToValidateArg)); } But this always returns false, any ideas why is it because of the regular expression?

When i add test.h file in my project and try to compile it, i see that netbeans does not see this header file, and that I would not write it, even if there are errors anyway compilation is successful. How to connect a header file in netbeans? Thanks.

  • Java: Check if file is already open

    - by hello_world_infinity
I need to write a custom batch File renamer. I've got the bulk of it done except I can't figure out how to check if a file is already open. I'm just using the java.io.File package and there is a canWrite() method but that doesn't seem to test if the file is in use by another program. Any ideas on how I can make this work?

  • How can I run Gcov over an installed Cocoa application?

    - by Joe
I have a Cocoa application which uses an installer. I want to be able to run code coverage over the code (after it has been installed). This is not the usual unit-test scenario where a single binary will run a suite of tests. Rather, the tests in question will interact with the UI and the app back-end whilst it is running, so I ideally want to be able to start the application knowing that Gcov is profiling it and then run tests against it. Any ideas?

Is there a way to keep the JVM running? or a way to get specs to run faster with JRuby? Thanks in advance for the help, JPoz
