  • Why doesn't Ubuntu detect my second hard drive?

    I am new to Linux and to Ubuntu, I was wondering, I have two hard drives setup in SATA ports (non-raid, at least I don't think they are). I installed ubuntu unto the drives fresh without any previous versions or windows at all. However when I got the Ubuntu 12.04 LTS working, all I see is 1 x 120 gigabyte harddrive. Also, not sure if this is important or not, my hard drives are SSD.   • LXR plugin for Trac for custom C++ based projects

    I am currently trying to look at the possibility of an LXR or LXR type extension for Trac for cross referencing and indexing of large C++ projects. I had been looking at what LXR had been doing with the Linux kernel source code and was fascinated by the cross referencing and the amount of detail offered. Is there a way I could set up such an LXR system for my own C++ based source code, preferably using trac.

  • Dual monitor ATI hd 4350 (1GB PCI-e), ubuntu 12.04 (pear Linux) Do I need the ATI driver or open source?

    I think I covered it in the title, Right now both monitors are mirrored (both 19" at 1440x900). I guess what I need to know is do I need the ATI proprietary driver or will the open source driver from Ubuntu (additional drivers) work? I want to expand the desktop between the two monitors. Still finishing install and running updates now, I just wanted to gather all documentation and downloads prior to doing what is necessary. Thanks Geeve
