O have an NSDictionary. Inside the dictionary there is an array. I want to sort the dictionary and display it's value in ascending order so please any one help me how can I get sorted data?
I'm writing a custom TreeView from ScrollableControl. I decided to show tooltips when mouse is hover nodes with text too long to display.
I find out when tooltips are shown, user would not be able to click the node to select it, because (I think) he's clicking the tooltip window, not my control.
Is there any easy solutions? As I can see System.Windows.Forms.TreeView don't have this problem. Thanks!
Is their any notifier which let's you add specific build in the notifier. Right now i am using Hudson Tacker (http://hudsontracker.sourceforge.net/index.html) which works fine but it only let's me add one build or all the builds.
I didn't see any notifiers in http://wiki.hudson-ci.org/display/HUDSON/Plugins which might have this functionality.
Thanks.
I'm seeking to display a fixed number of items on a web page according to their respective weight (represented by an Integer). The List where these items are found can be of virtually any size.
The first solution that comes to mind is to do a Collections.sort() and to get the items one by one by going through the List. Is there a more elegant solution though that could be used to prepare, say, the top eight items?
I have a Listbox displaying 5 items at a time, horizontally. I want to implement a 'Previous' and 'Next' button that when clicked, will display the previous set of 5, or next set of 5 items. I am not displaying the horizontal scroll bar, as I don't want a user to navigate with that.
Is there already some functionality implemented so I can do this, or do I need to write code to calculate what items I'm displaying, etc, in the button's click events?
Thanks in advance!

Hey,
I want to have the user enter a keyword in my app and then search google for this keyword, perform some logic on the results and display a final conclusion to the user.
Is this possible? How do I perform the search on google from my app? What is the format of the reply? If anybody has some code samples for this, they would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
I followed the guide here, but for some reason, the table view does not load the data. I know the array exists and there's data in it, but it won't display in the table itself.
I remember doing some css learning where i learned to make text-decoration: blink, and the text started blinking.
Now i have a icon,
.iconPM{
background: url(../images/icons/mail_16x16.png) no-repeat;
width: 16px;
height: 16px;
border: none;
display:inline-block;
}
Wonder if i can make this blink, either by simple css or jquery if required. Or maybe any other nice effects available in jquery recommended
I would like to know how I can display a HTML page in webview with references to relative/local images. The goal is to have the html page and all linked images contained in the android application package itself.
Where would I need to place the assets (assets directory?) and how do I reference these so they load into the webview?
Thanx!

Hi,
I'm just wondering if its at all possible to add a UIButton or and icon to a UINavigationControllers title bar?
I'm asking because I'm seeking a consistent position to display an "about" button.
I'm using a TextField where the user types a phone number. When the TextField changes, it should check if this number is already in the phonebook and display the name.
So far, my only way is to parse all names and number in a Dict and read it from there.
Is there a simpler, more efficient and sophisticated way to do that?
Hi,
I'm thinking about using Rx (Reactive Framework) in order to asynchronously query Twitter search API on a given keyword. The sample app I'd like to build should be able to display new tweets in the console.
Do you think it is possible to do that ? Would it be simpler than using standard programming techniques ?
How would you do that ?
Thank !
Jeremy

I am using the Mac OS X Apple Script Editor and (while debugging) instead of writing a lot of display dialog statements, I'd like to write the results of some calculation in the window below, called "Result" (I have the German UI here, so the translation is a guess). So is there a write/print statement that I can use for putting messages in the "standard out" window? I am not asking to put the messages in a logfile on the file system, it is purely temporary.

when I debug a flex application in the properties of display objects i also see variables that start with a dollar sign, like: $alpha, $width, $x, etc..
what are they?
are they different from the "normal" alpha, width, x properties?
I just realized that you can't just use an if statement on a function, for example this doesn't work:
function sayHello()
{
echo "Hello World";
}
if(sayHello())
echo "Function Worked";
else
echo "Function Failed";
I also saw that a function can't be put as the value of a variable. So how can I do an if statement to check if a function has executed properly and display it to the browser?
I need to develop a very simple iPad application that takes RSS feed of images that will be updated constantly and will display them and you can slide through them. As simple as that.
Is there a way to get basic help on doing this, I am very new to iPhone/iPad development and would like help.
To make the question clearer, I would appreciate code samples (other than the ones displayed on Apple's developers site, tutorials, and guidelines.
Thank you :)
How does objdump manage to display source code? Is there a reference to the source file in the binary? I tried running strings on the binary and couldn't find any reference to the source file listed...
Thanks.
