  Is there a way to detect a finger's non-movement by using a combination of UITouch events? The event methods touchesEnded and touchesCancelled are only fired when the event is cancelled or the finger lifted. I would like to know when a touch has stopped moving, even while it is still touching the screen.

If the mouse travels to the transparent area, the mouse-out should be triggered and the script should listen for any mouse-over event on a layer underneath the image. Is it possible?   I'm using (void)touchesBegan:(NSSet *)touches withEvent:(UIEvent *)event, and (void)touchesMoved:(NSSet *)touches withEvent:(UIEvent *)event to handle some dragging on a UIView. This UIView however have some UIButtons as subviews of the UIView and when the user touches over a UIButton (which are also over the UIView) the touches methods aren't called. I need the touch methods in the UIView to be called at all times and still have the UIButtons working, how can I achieve this?

  Hi, I am writing and opengl based iphone app and would like to allow a user to translate around a view based on the direction that they move two fingers on the screen. For one finger I know I could just calculate the vector from the start position to the current position of the users finger and then find the unit vector of this to get just the direction, but I don't know how I would do this for two fingers, I don't think adding the components of the vectors and calculating the average would work so I'm pretty much stuck... thanks in advance

  jquery ui tabs supports loading content through ajax here but if i have already loaded previous content and i click on it again, it stays on the old content until the new content is fully loaded is there anyway to clear the content right when you click the tab so its clear that a new set of content is loading. I see there is a load event but this fires after the new content is loaded. i need a beforeload event or something like that any suggestions?
