  • Jquery hover with animation

    anyone know how to stop a .hover happening again before the mouseout animation has finished? I have the following code which has 4 anchors. Once hovered over the anchor the related anchor slides in using animation.   • how to fix protocol violation in c#

    I have a c# "client" and a Java "server". The java server has a wsdl it serves to the client. So far it works for c# to make a request for the server to perform a soap action. My server gets the soap request executes the method and tries to return the result back to the client. When I send the response to c# however, I get "The server committed a protocol violation. Section=ResponseStatusLine". I have spent all day trying to fix this and have come up with nothing that works. If I explain what i did, this post would be very long, so I'll keep it brief. i Googled for hours and everything tells me my "response line" is correct. I tried shutting down Skype, rearranging the response line, adding things, taking things away, etc, etc. All to no avail. This is for a class assignment so no, I can not use apis to help. I must do everything manually on the server side. That means parsing by hand, creating the soap response and the http response by hand. Just thought you'd like to know that before you say to use something that does it for me. I even tried making sure my server was sending the correct header by creating a java client that "mimicked" the c# one so I could see what the server returned. However, it's returning exactly what i told it to send. I tried telling my java client to do the same thing but to an actuall running c# service, to see what a real service returns, and it returned basically the same thing. To be safe, I copied it's response and tried sending it to the c# client and it still threw the error. Can anyone help? I've tried all i can think of, including adding the useUnsafeHeaderParsing to my app config. Nothing is working though. I send it exactly what a real service sends it and it yells at me. I send it what i want and it yells. I'm sending this: "200 OK HTTP/1.0\r\n" + "Content-Length: 201\r\n" + "Cache-Control: private\r\n" + "Content-Type: text/xml; charset=utf-8\r\n\r\n";

  • Simple Modal with Autocomplete in ASP.NET

    Hello, I am quite new to this so any help is very much appreciated. I am generating a modal pop using Simple Modal, this works ok. I now want to add jquery autocomplete to the element txtEmail. When I run the page outside of Simple Modal I can use Autocomplete, however when the page is loaded through Simple Modal it does not work. I have checked to ensure the element is loaded, and it is allowing me to change the text color, but I can not add autocomplete to it.   • text in textbox shows up as circles instead of regular characters?

That normally works, but when large amount of data comes, system.outofmemoryexception is thrown. Does anyone know a way to fix this problem, or another usefull technic to do?

  • Problem with JQuery swapImage();

    Hello!~ On my articles page (http://www.adrtimes.squarespace.com/articles) I have each entry start with an image that changes on rollover. This is working fine. However, on my homepage (http://www.adrtimes.squarespace.com), I am loading in the 2 most recent articles that are not categorized as video, and the 2 most recent articles that are tagged as video. I am using jQuery load() to pull in the content from the articles page. Everything works ok with that except the swapImage rollovers on the homepage. i tried including the swapImage function as callbacks but only one group or the other will rollover properly, not both groups of content. I'm not sure what the problem is!!   • Responsive grid, floated elements move underneath one another when min-width is reached

    I'm in the process of creating a responsive site (currently only working on the main content.) I've created two floated divs with percentage based widths. One contains an image which resizes with the browser resizing. The image has a min-width of 100px. Can anyone tell me why when put into a mobile sized width it doesn't drop down?     Before I being a bit of background, I am very new to go programming language. I am running go on Win 7, latest go package installer for windows. I'm not good at coding but I do like some challenge of learning a new language. I wanted to start learn Erlang but found go very interesting based on the GO I/O videos in youtube. I'm having problem with capturing POST form values in GO. I spend three hours yesterday to get go to print a POST form value in the browser and failed miserably. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, can anyone point me to the right direction? I might be able to get the date through regex, but there are so many custom scripts people are using now that the html classes and structure is so different.   • Visual Studio 2010 RTM started giving me 'does not exist in the current context errors'

    Just installed the trial version of Visual Studio 2010 RTM. Now I keep getting : The name 'NoPanel' does not exist in the current context Errors (where no panel is just about any control in the .aspx file) also I got several errors trying to deploy pages and it would not send the .cs file over ...or pdfs in the Content directory (even though I had copy always set)... This is happening on a pair of mixed ASP.NET MVC and Webforms sites.

  • RESTful resource not found. 404 or 204? Jersey returns 204 on null being returned from handler.

    If you are looking for /Resource/Id and that resource does not exist, I had always though that 404 was the appropriate response. However, when returning "null" from a Jersey handler, I get back a "204 No Content". I can likely work with either one, but am curious to others thoughts on this. To answer my own next question. To get jersey to return 404 you must throw an exception. if (a == null) throw new WebApplicationException(404);

  • Dropdownlist width in IE

    In IE, the dropdown-list takes the same width as the dropbox (i hope i am making sense) whereas in Firefox the dropdown-list's width varies according to the content. This basically means that i have to make sure that the dropbox has to be wide enough to display the longest selection possible. this makes my page look very ugly :( Is there any workaround for this problem? How can i uses CSS to set different widths for dropbox and the dropdownlist?
