Currently I have a very basic file viewer working as follows : - in JOptionPane I browse for files, and set some variables to display (colors, line connecting etc) - previous windows loads a frame with drawn points Code : http://paste.pocoo.org/show/220066/ Now I'd like to throw it into one window, with JMenu for selecting files and changing display parameters. How to get started ? Should I rewrite everything to JDialog ?

    Hi, I have set break points on my attached properties SetXXX and GetXXX static methods. In Xaml, I have assigned values to the attached property. However, I was expecting the Set or Get static methods to be called but they are not. The attached property works as expected and if I call SetXXX and GetXXX methods in code, then it works are expected. Why are the methods not called when set from Xaml? JD.

    I'm looking for some algorithm such as k-means for grouping points on a map into a fixed number of groups, by distance. The number of groups has already been decided, but the trick part (at least for me) is to meet the criteria that the sum of MOS of each group should in the certain range, say bigger than 1.   • Projection on a plane using a 2*3 matrix

    Hello, I can easily draw the projection of a 3D set of points onto the plane with normal vector (1,1,1), by using the matrix (-sqrt(3)/2 sqrt(3)/2 0) (-1/2 -1/2 1). I want to do the same thing, but for a projection onto an arbitrary plane with normal vector (a,b,c) instead of (1,1,1). How to find the matrix? Thanks in advance!

At the moment, when the onLocationChanged() method is called, the application stores the current GPS longitude and latitude in a database and calls the animateTo() method to the current position. In that, below tag was one of the line.<file name="msvcr90.dll" hashalg="SHA1" hash="e0dcdcbfcb452747da530fae6b000d47c8674671"> In above tag, hash value was assigned with 40 character. Here comes my doubt, 1) hash value was auto generated, if not, whats it points to?

    I have a string that looks a little like this, world:region:bash It divides folder names, so i can create a path for FTP functions. However, i need at some points to be able to remove the last part of the string, so, for example I have this world:region:bash I need to get this world:region The script wont be able to know what the folder names are, so some how it needs to be able to remove the string after the last colon.

  • Is there any way to group edit buttons in MediaWiki?

    Is there any way to group the edit buttons displayed above the edit dialog in MediaWiki? By grouping, I mean like Word does (and even this editor) - you can add dividing lines to group them so that e.g. Bold and Italic are in one group, numbered list and bullet points in another. We've added lots of new buttons (in EditPage.php) and they are in a logical order, but at 30 buttons it is a bit overwhelming for some users.

    I'm sure this is fairly simple, however I have a major mental block on it, so I need a little help here! I have an array of 5 integers, the array is already filled with some data. I want to set the last N bits of the array to be random noise. [int][int][int][int][int] set last 40 bits [unchanged][unchanged][unchanged][24 bits of old data followed 8 bits of randomness][all random] This is largely language agnostic, but I'm working in C# so bonus points for answers in C#
