• One of my IFrames not displaying.

  Im writing a page consisting of a navigation bar which when ckicked will open other pages in an IFrame below. Its working in general, but one of my Iframes doesnt display. I cannot for the life of me explain why. If you can see why please tell me. Its the google button that doesnt work.   I've found that on Google support driving navigation on latest Android. http://www.google.com/mobile/navigation/index.html But, I can't find any kinds of API set to provide those kinds of functions. Is there navigation support API? or isn't it released yet? I can't understand why it's not included on Ginger bread version. They said that Nexus S already support Driving navigation.   I have used the following code to get the document root. $path = get_file_dir(); function get_file_dir() { global $argv; return realpath($argv[0]); } Below code includes config.php and config.php has the $setuprun variable with a value. if((file_exists("$path/admin/config.php"))) { include_once "$path/admin/config.php"; } if($setuprun=="true") { //do some code } In my system, it takes the document root like /home/myname/myfolder and the variable $setuprun has the value and the code works perfectly. But in another user's system, it shows the following error. Notice: Undefined variable: setuprun in /usr/local/www/chat/setup.php on line 22. He is using FreeBSD 8.2 Stable with MySQL 5, PHP5 and Apache 2.2. Can anyone please help me to solve this error?

  There ought to be a way of sending a post request and getting back just the headers. $ch = curl_init('http://www.stackoverflow.com/'); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_HEADER, true); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POST, true); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_NOBODY, true); doesn't work, because all setting CURLOPT_NOBODY does is to change the request method to HEAD, thereby overriding CURLOPT_POST. I could just leave the last of these lines out and only process the headers, but is there a more efficient way? It's also odd that there doesn't seem to be a way in cURL to truncate the received content to a specified length as there is with file_get_contents.

  I have a very annoying issue and I would love a solution. The problem: I followed the MDSN tutorial- http://www.asp.net/mvc/tutorials/mvc-4/getting-started-with-aspnet-mvc4/adding-a-model Then I tried this guide according to my needs and I set up a database GAMES.MDF.   Then, I deleted the database and set it up again, is supposedly work (I can write and read data), but There is no such database in the APP_DATA folder. Like it keeps it somewhere in my PC and reuse it.   I even tried a new project and it did not work, works but not in the library, and it even uses the data I created before. I even deleted the DB from SQL Server Management Studio 2008. Does anyone know what the hell? How do I delete it permanently, not to remain any trace of him?   Thank you.  Ido

• Mono/C#: A good GUI toolkit ? looks good on KDE?

  Hi there, i am trying to get into developing for linux and i am a .net developer so i decided to give Mono a try. THe problem is that i am having problems trying to find a good gui toolkit. I have chosen KDE over GNOME because its a little bit more pleasing on the eye. I have looked here http://www.mono-project.com/Gui_Toolkits I get the sense GTK# is a good toolkit but its for GNOME. I know you can still run GNOME apps on KDE - but do they look nice ? probably not?? I would really appreciated any feedbakc from anyone who is doing the same or has done the same. I don't want to end up choosing the wrong toolkit and then have to change half way trhough. Also i was hoping to do all my development on my Windows PC and then just pass it to linux when i am ready... I presume this is possible? Thanks in advance
