  • Port AS3/Flex app to iPhone

    I believe Adobe tools like CS5 have ways to output as an iPhone app, but what about a regular AS3 or Flex project? Are there any tools to auto-port, or AS3/Flex iPhone implementations out there? Out of interest, how does the CS5 thing work? Is it a totally different code-path or something less drastic? For instance Flash supports Shapes and Timelines, etc... do they in fact provide an iPhone Flash runtime of some sort?

  • Using mod_negotiation to serve webp if the UA requests it.

    Is it possible to use mod_negotiation to serve up a webp image if the browser supports it, and a jpg otherwise? For instance, if I link to an image with the path /images/test, it serves the image found at /images/test.webp if the UA knows about webp, or jpg otherwise? I've tried poking around, but it seems that the Accept headers in Chrome at least look like Accept:*/*, rather than specifying the image type. If this isn't the way to do it, has anyone got any other suggestions?

  • How to integrate wordpress with an existing php homepage ?

    I have already a site with a single homepage index.php which accepts 2 parameters like http://mydomain.com/index.php?param1=something&param2=somethingelse param2 can be optional I want to install wordpress on the root directory, except for index.php and the above url, I want wordpress to show the blog pages. How to do that either in PHP and/or htaccess ? (I'm very bad at htaccess so I prefer php).

  • IBOutlets are always nil

    Hi, In IB I have subclassed the File Owner and the subclass loads my .nib. The subclass itself doesn't need access to the IBOutlets so they're instance variables in another class, which I added as a subclass of NSObject in the .nib. Then I connected the interface elements to that object. But somehow, in the class that "owns" the IBOutlets, they show up as nil. What am I doing wrong here?

    I want to make my Python Class behave in such a way that when any Class method is called a default method is executed first without explicitly specifying this in the called Class. An example may help :) Class animals: def _internalMethod(): self.respires = True def cat(): self._internalMethod() self.name = 'cat' def dog(): self._internalMethod() self.name = 'dog' I want _internalMethod() to be called automatically when any method is called from an instance of animals, rather than stating it explicitly in the def of each method. In a dialog for creating the email body the user needs to be able to input some string value representing an existing wf instance variable to be inserted as a string at runtime. So they input something like: Email body text including <. (say ExistingVariable is an int or something like that) Any helpful hints for how to convert this text with a ToString() at runtime?

    I have a string read in from a binary file that is unpacked using struct.unpack as a string of length n. Each byte in the string is a single integer (1-byte) representing 0-255. So for each character in the string I want to convert it to an integer. I can't figure out how to do this. Using ord doesn't seem to be on the right track...

    Hi, I just wrote a little application(4 page php), everything work fine, however, I have a question that, do I need to create a new instance of facebook (just like $facebook = new facebook.....) in every new php page, or just pass a access token or session? If only pass the access token, how can I use the function $faceook-api('something'); to acheive the data?   • Subversion Proxy for working offline?

    What is the best approach for working at a customers site (with several people) where there maybe not internet access the whole time and using a subversion repository? (Migrating to Git or Mecurial is out of the question at the moment) But wouldn't it be possible to leverage something like, for instance the Git SVN Integration, to create a proxy which acts like a subversion repository for the clients and may be used at the end to synchronize the changes back to subversion?     I'm developing a cms for a company that has multiple regional sites (us, uk, china, russia, etc..). Should I use a separate database for each of these sites or use a single database with a 'site' field in each table? My main concern is the table language encoding (ie, can storing strings in different langauges in the same table cause problems, such as sorting issues).

I've tried getting the value of it while it has an interval and when it doesn't but they both just seem to be numbers.

    I am trying to set up automated .htaccess updating. This clearly needs to be as secure as possible, however right now the best I can do file permission-wise is 666. What can I do to setup either my server or php code so that my script's fwrite() command will work with 644 or better? For instance is there a way to set my script(s) to run as owner?
