• Flex: convert VideoPlayer.currentTime to string "00:00:00:000"

    - by numediaweb
    Hi there! what about this one: I want to format the currentTime displayed by a videoPlayer component inside flex, something like : 8230.999 to something like 01:59:59:999 which is "hours:minutes:seconds:milliseconds" I trie different sets of codes but they can't get it to work because currentTime is nor a correct miliseconds time as it adds a floating 3 digit point to seconds; so instead of : 2000ms it outputs 2.000 something people like me just can't understand! thanx for any help :) ### UPDATE I still have problem with milliseconds. here's the current MXML:  <s:Application xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009" xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark" xmlns:mx="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/mx" minWidth="955" minHeight="600"> <fx:Script>  protected function convert_clickHandler(event:MouseEvent):void { var val:Number = new Number(inPut.text); //inPut.text = 1000.001 //val = val * 1000; outPut.text = timeFormat(val); } public static function timeFormat(value:Number):String { var milliseconds:Number = value % 1000; var seconds:Number = Math.floor((value/1000) % 60); var minutes:Number = Math.floor((value/60000) % 60); var hours:Number = Math.floor((value/3600000) % 24); var s_miliseconds:String = (milliseconds<10 ? "00" : (milliseconds<100 ? "0" : ""))+ String(milliseconds); var s_seconds:String = seconds < 10 ? "0" + String(seconds) : String(seconds); var s_minutes:String = minutes < 10 ? "0" + String(minutes) : String(minutes); var s_hours:String = hours < 10 ? "0" + String(hours) : String(hours); return s_hours + ":" + s_minutes + ":" + s_seconds + '.'+s_miliseconds; // returns 00:00:01.000.0009999999999763531 should return 00:00:01.001 // I still have problem with milliseconds }  </fx:Script> <fx:Declarations>  </fx:Declarations> <s:TextInput x="240" y="72" id="inPut" text="1000.001"/> <s:TextInput x="240" y="140" id="outPut"/> <s:Button x="274" y="107" label="convert" id="convert" click="convert_clickHandler(event)"/> </s:Application>

Example code I have looked at: import threading def MyThread ( threading.thread ): doing something........ def MyThread2 ( threading.thread ): doing something........ MyThread().start() MyThread2().start() I am having trouble getting this working. I would prefer to get this going using a threaded function rather than a class. Thanks for any help.

  • A better way to delete a list of elements from multiple tables

    - by manyxcxi
    I know this looks like a 'please write the code' request, but some basic pointer/principles for doing this the right way should be enough to get me going. I have the following stored procedure: CREATE PROCEDURE `TAA`.`runClean` (IN idlist varchar(1000)) BEGIN DECLARE EXIT HANDLER FOR NOT FOUND ROLLBACK; DECLARE EXIT HANDLER FOR SQLEXCEPTION ROLLBACK; DECLARE EXIT HANDLER FOR SQLWARNING ROLLBACK; START TRANSACTION; DELETE FROM RunningReports WHERE run_id IN (idlist); DELETE FROM TMD_INDATA_INVOICE WHERE run_id IN (idlist); DELETE FROM TMD_INDATA_LINE WHERE run_id IN (idlist); DELETE FROM TMD_OUTDATA_INVOICE WHERE run_id IN (idlist); DELETE FROM TMD_OUTDATA_LINE WHERE run_id IN (idlist); DELETE FROM TMD_TEST WHERE run_id IN (idlist); DELETE FROM RunHistory WHERE id IN (idlist); COMMIT; END $$ It is called by a PHP script to clean out old run history. It is not particularly efficient as you can see and I would like to speed it up. The PHP script gathers the ids to remove from the tables with the following query: $query = "SELECT id, stop_time FROM RunHistory WHERE config_id = $configId AND save = 0 AND NOT(stop_time IS NULL) ORDER BY stop_time"; It keeps the last five run entries and deletes all the rest. So using this query to bring back all the IDs, it determines which ones to delete and keeps the 'newest' five. After gathering the IDs it sends them to the stored procedure to remove them from the associated tables. I'm not very good with SQL, but I ASSUME that using an IN statement and not joining these tables together is probably the least efficient way I can do this, but I don't know enough to ask anything but "how do I do this better?" If possible, I would like to do this all in my stored procedure using a query to gather all the IDs except for the five 'newest', then delete them. Another twist, run entries can be marked save (save = 1) and should not be deleted. The RunHistory table looks like this: CREATE TABLE `TAA`.`RunHistory` ( `id` int(11) NOT NULL auto_increment, `start_time` datetime default NULL, `stop_time` datetime default NULL, `config_id` int(11) NOT NULL, [...] `save` tinyint(1) NOT NULL default '0', PRIMARY KEY (`id`) ) ENGINE=InnoDB AUTO_INCREMENT=0 DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8;

  • Publish to Facebook Stream via PHP using Graph API

    - by Liquid
    I'm trying to post a message to a user's wall using the new graph API and PHP. Connection seems to work fine, but no post appears. I'm not sure how to set up the posting code correctly. Please help me out. Sorry for the broken-looking code, for some reason StackOverflow didn't want to close it all in the code block. Below is my full code. Am I missing an extender permission requests, or is that taken care in this code: PHP Code <?php include_once 'facebook.php'; $facebook = new Facebook(array( 'appId' => 'xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx', 'secret' => 'xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx', 'cookie' => true )); $session = $facebook->getSession(); if (!$session) { $url = $facebook->getLoginUrl(array( 'canvas' => 1, 'fbconnect' => 0 )); echo ""; } else { try { $uid = $facebook->getUser(); $me = $facebook->api('/me'); $updated = date("l, F j, Y", strtotime($me['updated_time'])); echo "Hello " . $me['name'] . "
"; echo "You last updated your profile on " . $updated; $connectUrl = $facebook->getUrl( 'www', 'login.php', array_merge(array( 'api_key' => $facebook->getAppId(), 'cancel_url' => 'http://www.test.com', 'req_perms' => 'publish_stream', 'display' => 'page', 'fbconnect' => 1, 'next' => 'http://www.test.com', 'return_session' => 1, 'session_version' => 3, 'v' => '1.0', ), $params) ); $result = $facebook->api( '/me/feed/', 'post', array('access_token' => $facebook->access_token, 'message' => 'Playing around with FB Graph..') ); } catch (FacebookApiException $e) { echo "Error:" . print_r($e, true); } } ?>

  • How can I implement ASP.NET MVC without using Visual Studio?

    - by Cheeso
    I have seen ASP.NET MVC Without Visual Studio, which asks, Is it possible to produce a website based on ASP.NET MVC, without using Visual Studio? And the accepted answer is, yes. Ok, next question: how? Here's an analogy. If I want to create an ASP.NET Webforms page, I load up my favorite text editor, create a file named Something.aspx. Then I insert into that file, some boilerplate: <%@ Page Language="C#" Debug="true" Trace="false" Src="Sourcefile.cs" Inherits="My.Namespace.ContentsPage" %>

Title goes here

<asp:Literal Id='Holder' runat='server'/>

Then I also create the Sourcefile.cs file: namespace My.Namespace { using System; using System.Web; using System.Xml; // etc... public class ContentsPage : System.Web.UI.Page { protected System.Web.UI.WebControls.Literal Holder; void Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) { // page load logic here } } } And that is a working ASPNET page, created in a text editor. Drop it into an IIS virtual directory, and it's working. What do I have to do, to make a basic, hello, World ASPNET MVC app, in a text editor? (without Visual Studio)

  • ASP.NET Application Level vs. Session Level and Global.asax...confused

    - by contactmatt
    The following text is from the book I'm reading, 'MCTS Self-Paced Training Kit (Exam 70-515) Web Applications Development with ASP.NET 4". It gives the rundown of the Application Life Cycle. A user first makes a request for a page in your site. The request is routed to the processing pipeline, which forwards it to the ASP.NET runtime. The ASP.NET runtime creates an instance of the ApplicationManager class; this class instance represents the .NET framework domain that will be used to execute requests for your application. An application domain isolates global variables from other applications and allows each application to load and unload separately, as required. After the application domain has been created, an instance of the HostingEnvironment class is created. This class provides access to items inside the hosting environment, such as directory folders. ASP.NET creates instances of the core objects that will be used to process the request. This includes HttpContext, HttpRequest, and HttpResponse objects. ASP.NET creates an instance of the HttpApplication class (or an instance is reused). This class is also the base class for a site’s Global.asax file. You can use this class to trap events that happen when your application starts or stops. When ASP.NET creates an instance of HttpApplication, it also creates the modules configured for the application, such as the SessionStateModule. Finally, ASP.NET processes request through the HttpApplication pipleline. This pipeline also includes a set of events for validating requests, mapping URLs, accessing the cache, and more. The book then demonstrated an example of using the Global.asax file: When does an application start? Whats the difference between session and application level? I'm rather confused on how this is managed. I thought that Application level classes "sat on top of" an AppDomain object, and the AppDomain contained information specific to that Session for that user. Could someone please explain how IIS manages Applicaiton level classes, and how an HttpApplication class sits under an AppDomain? Anything is appreciated.

  • Difference between Python urllib.urlretrieve() and wget

    - by jrdioko
    I am trying to retrieve a 500mb file using Python, and I have a script which uses urllib.urlretrieve(). There seems to some network problem between me and the download site, as this call consistently hangs and fails to complete. However, using wget to retrieve the file tends to work without problems. What is the difference between urlretrieve() and wget that could cause this difference?

  • Rails 3 NameError (cannot remove Object::Version) error

    - by Jeff D
    Can anyone point me at what might be causing this error? There is no ApplicationTrace, and it locks the server hard on my development machine. I think it has something to do with the way rails reloads your classes in development mode, and it appears to have something to do with a Version constant. I can't find a reference to this though. Can anyone point me in the direction of what would cause this? activesupport (3.0.3) lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:645:in `remove_const' activesupport (3.0.3) lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:645:in `remove_constant' activesupport (3.0.3) lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:645:in `instance_eval' activesupport (3.0.3) lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:645:in `remove_constant' activesupport (3.0.3) lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:521:in `remove_unloadable_constants!' activesupport (3.0.3) lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:521:in `each' activesupport (3.0.3) lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:521:in `remove_unloadable_constants!' activesupport (3.0.3) lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:317:in `clear' railties (3.0.3) lib/rails/application/bootstrap.rb:60:in `_callback_after_7' activesupport (3.0.3) lib/active_support/callbacks.rb:419:in `_run_call_callbacks' actionpack (3.0.3) lib/action_dispatch/middleware/callbacks.rb:44:in `call' rack (1.2.1) lib/rack/sendfile.rb:107:in `call' actionpack (3.0.3) lib/action_dispatch/middleware/remote_ip.rb:48:in `call' actionpack (3.0.3) lib/action_dispatch/middleware/show_exceptions.rb:46:in `call' railties (3.0.3) lib/rails/rack/logger.rb:13:in `call' rack (1.2.1) lib/rack/runtime.rb:17:in `call' activesupport (3.0.3) lib/active_support/cache/strategy/local_cache.rb:72:in `call' rack (1.2.1) lib/rack/lock.rb:11:in `call' rack (1.2.1) lib/rack/lock.rb:11:in `synchronize' rack (1.2.1) lib/rack/lock.rb:11:in `call' actionpack (3.0.3) lib/action_dispatch/middleware/static.rb:30:in `call' railties (3.0.3) lib/rails/application.rb:168:in `call' railties (3.0.3) lib/rails/application.rb:77:in `send' railties (3.0.3) lib/rails/application.rb:77:in `method_missing' railties (3.0.3) lib/rails/rack/log_tailer.rb:14:in `call' rack (1.2.1) lib/rack/content_length.rb:13:in `call' rack (1.2.1) lib/rack/handler/webrick.rb:52:in `service' /Volumes/files/jeffdeville/.rvm/rubies/ree-1.8.7-2010.02/lib/ruby/1.8/webrick/httpserver.rb:104:in `service' /Volumes/files/jeffdeville/.rvm/rubies/ree-1.8.7-2010.02/lib/ruby/1.8/webrick/httpserver.rb:65:in `run' /Volumes/files/jeffdeville/.rvm/rubies/ree-1.8.7-2010.02/lib/ruby/1.8/webrick/server.rb:173:in `start_thread' /Volumes/files/jeffdeville/.rvm/rubies/ree-1.8.7-2010.02/lib/ruby/1.8/webrick/server.rb:162:in `start' /Volumes/files/jeffdeville/.rvm/rubies/ree-1.8.7-2010.02/lib/ruby/1.8/webrick/server.rb:162:in `start_thread' /Volumes/files/jeffdeville/.rvm/rubies/ree-1.8.7-2010.02/lib/ruby/1.8/webrick/server.rb:95:in `start' /Volumes/files/jeffdeville/.rvm/rubies/ree-1.8.7-2010.02/lib/ruby/1.8/webrick/server.rb:92:in `each' /Volumes/files/jeffdeville/.rvm/rubies/ree-1.8.7-2010.02/lib/ruby/1.8/webrick/server.rb:92:in `start' /Volumes/files/jeffdeville/.rvm/rubies/ree-1.8.7-2010.02/lib/ruby/1.8/webrick/server.rb:23:in `start' /Volumes/files/jeffdeville/.rvm/rubies/ree-1.8.7-2010.02/lib/ruby/1.8/webrick/server.rb:82:in `start' rack (1.2.1) lib/rack/handler/webrick.rb:13:in `run' rack (1.2.1) lib/rack/server.rb:213:in `start' railties (3.0.3) lib/rails/commands/server.rb:65:in `start' railties (3.0.3) lib/rails/commands.rb:30 railties (3.0.3) lib/rails/commands.rb:27:in `tap' railties (3.0.3) lib/rails/commands.rb:27 script/rails:6:in `require' script/rails:6

  • How do I use ViewScripts on Zend_Form File Elements?

    - by Sonny
    I am using this ViewScript for my standard form elements: <div class="field" id="field_<?php echo $this->element->getId(); ?>"> <?php if (0 < strlen($this->element->getLabel())) : ?> <?php echo $this->formLabel($this->element->getName(), $this->element->getLabel());?> <?php endif; ?> <?php echo $this->{$this->element->helper}( $this->element->getName(), $this->element->getValue(), $this->element->getAttribs() ) ?> <?php if (0 < $this->element->getMessages()->length) : ?> <?php echo $this->formErrors($this->element->getMessages()); ?> <?php endif; ?> <?php if (0 < strlen($this->element->getDescription())) : ?> <?php echo $this->element->getDescription(); ?> <?php endif; ?>
Trying to use that ViewScript alone results in an error: Exception caught by form: No file decorator found... unable to render file element Looking at this FAQ revealed part of my problem, and I updated my form element decorators like this: 'decorators' => array( array('File'), array('ViewScript', array('viewScript' => 'form/field.phtml')) ) Now it's rendering the file element twice, once within my view script, and extra elements with the file element outside my view script:
Upload File
Any ideas on how to handle this properly with a ViewScript?
