    I need to create a nice installer for a Mac application. I want it to be a disk image (DMG), with a predefined size, layout and background image. I need to do this programmatically in a script, to be integrated in an existing build system (more of a pack system really, since it only create installers. The builds are done separately). I already have the DMG creation done using "hdiutil", what I haven't found out yet is how to make an icon layout and specify a background bitmap.

Expanding this revealed the following: The following cacheable resources have a short freshness lifetime: Specify an expiration at least one week in the future for the following resources: <a long list of images > <some javascript files > How do I go about lengthening the "freshness lifetime" of particular images?     I have a problem regarding running my application with a Distribution certificate. The application will work fine with a Development certificate on my iPod Touch. Once I change the Code Signing Identity to a Distribution certificate and specify an Entitlements file, the application crashes on launch. Is there anything I can do to correct this?     I'm just digging into the gcc manual and some things are still unclear to me: a) When specifying a std, should I always use -pedantic in conjunction? b) When using -g, it the standard level sufficient or should I specify level 3, i.e. -g3? c) Is it good practice to use -Werror to promote all warnings to errors and -pedantic-errors to promote all pedantic warnings to errors?

    Resolving an xpath that includes namepsaces in Java appears to require the use of a NamespaceContext object, mapping prefixes to namespace urls and vice versa. But I can find no mechanism for getting a NamespaceContext other than implementing it myself. This seems counter-intuitive. Is there any easy way to acquire a NamespaceContext from a document, or to create one, or failing that, to forgo prefixes altogether and specify the xpath with fully qualified names?

    Hi, I'm new to m4 and am trying to set up a macro which allows the user to specify the location of a library at configure-time ./configure --with-mylib=/path/to/lib.so. In the m4 macro using AC_ARG_WITH, I'll check that the given file actually exists, and then store the path to said lib. MYLIB_PATH=esyscmd([dirname $withval]). This produces the error: dirname: missing operand The shell doesn't seem to know about $withval. How do I get it through to execute this command? Thanks, Andrew

    I am trying to setup a many-to-many mapping in Fluent Nhibernate that has a where clause attached to the child table. This is basically how it should work: HasManyToMany(p => p.Images) .Table("ProductImages") .ParentKeyColumn("ProductID") .ChildKeyColumn("ImageID") .Where("ImageTypeID = 2"); The ImageTypeID column is in the Images table, but NHibernate is assuming it is part of the ProductImages table. Any idea how I can specify this? Thanks!

    This is somewhat against rails convention but I am trying to have one controller that manages both user session authentication and user registration. I am having troubles figuring out how to go about this. So far I am merging the User Controller and the Sessions Controller and having the 'new' method deliver both a new usersession and a new user instance. With the new routes in rails 3 though, I am having trouble figuring out how to generate forms for these items.     May be a dumb question, but GWT FlowPanel (raw div element) does not provides something to handle a mouseclick/mousemovement on it. Overriding onBrowserEvent do not works either. If setting onclick event using native JavaScript (need to specify positive height before, 'div' have a height of 0 if not specified), then catching these events is working properly. Is there a way to do it without using JSNI?

    I'm running the latest Mercurial and Python 2.6; IIS6 is using the wildcard ISAPI method to attach the site to the Mecurial hgwebdir_wsgi [paths] \ = \\COMP3254\TestRepo\* [web] baseurl = / allow_push = * push_ssl = false style = monoblue The setup works perfectly if I reference the local drive E:\repo* but doesnt work if I specify the network as above; I've given the server (MERCDEV01$) full permissions on the shared folder on COMP3254, I can't think of any other reason it wouldn't work. Any ideas?

I did not specify "city" in my object defaults: new { controller="Employees", action = "List", pageNumber = 1 } Please explain. Thanks!
