• Using dd-wrt Dynamic DNS client with CloudFlare

  I'm trying to configure Dynamic DNS client on my router with dd-wrt (v24-sp2) firmware so it would dynamically change IP address in one of the DNS records. • Apache Virtual host not recognized

  I've been using one server, then I reinstalled everything on another server, and the mod_jk stopped working. Here is the situation: apache 2.0 sitting "in front" mod_jk used to connect to the apache to tomcat tomcat 6.0.26 used to server the actual requests I followed this tutorial. The result is: accessing http://mysite.com opens the index.html in /var/www/ accessing http://mysite.com:8080/ works OK the logs at /var/logs/apache2 show everything is OK: [Mon Mar 29 22:01:53.310 2010] [28349:3075389184] [info] init_jk::mod_jk.c (2830): mod_jk/1.2.26 initialized [Mon Mar 29 22:01:53 2010] [warn] No JkShmFile defined in httpd.conf. The domain name is the same (I updated the DNS record today, and it has refreshed successfully) So the question is, what can go wrong? Is there another place where problems would be logged, if such occur? Update What I can be almost certain of is that the virtual host is not recognized. It is always forwarded to the default virtual host. So, how to make sure the virtual host is recognized and working?

  I have a Windows 2008 R2 domain controller which is also a DNS server. This sounds similar to the issue described in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/968372 except I am using two forwarders (128.59.59.70 from above as well as 128.59.62.10) and falling back to root hints so the preconditions to expose the issue are not the same. Nevertheless, I also applied the MaxCacheTTL registry fix as described and restarted DNS and the whole server as well but the problem persists. The problem occurs on all domain controllers in this domain and has occurred since half a year ago, even though the servers are getting automatic Windows updates. EDIT Here is a debug log. By contrast, when I query, say, accounts.google.com, I can see the DNS server go out to its forwarder (128.59.59.70, for example). In this case, I didn't see any packets going out from my DNS server even though bogus. was not in the cache (the debug log was already running and this is the first time I queried this server for bogus. or any TLD). It just returned SERVFAIL without consulting any other DNS server, as in the Microsoft KB article linked above.

Therefore, I have the following questions. Can the above discrepancy in the block size affect disk performance? Can I control the block size using hpacucli?

• Object Not found - Apache Rewrite issue

  I'm pretty new to setting up apache locally with xampp. I'm trying to develop locally with xampp (Ubuntu 11.04) linux 1.7.4 for a Drupal Site. I've actually git pulled an exact copy of this drupal site from another testing server hosted at MediaTemple. Issue I'll visit my local development environment virtualhost (http://bbk.loc) and the front page renders correctly with no errors from drupal or apache. The issue is the subsequent pages don't return an "Object not found" Error from apache. What is more bizarre is when I add various query strings and the pages are found (like http://bbk.loc?p=user).   Hi, I have setup a kannel SMS gateway on my FreeBSD 7.2 - the service works great. I'm now trying to setup a email2sms feature. For this i have created a system user called kannel and all mails are forwarded to this user. It then do a http request to the SMS gateway. The php-script works. • How to prevent samba from holding a file lock after a client disconnects?

  Here I have a Samba server (Debian 5.0) thats is configured to host Windows XP profiles. Clients connects to this server and work on their profiles directly on the samba share (the profile is not copied locally). Every now and then, a client may not shutdown properly and thus Windows does not free the file locks. When looking at the samba locking table, we can see that many files are still locked even though the client is not connected anymore. In our case, this seems to occur with lockfiles created by Mozilla Thunderbird and Firefox. Now when a client reconnects to this share and tries to open those files, samba says that they are locked and denies access. Is there any way to work around this situation or am I missing something? Edit: We would like to avoid disabling file locks on the samba server because there are good reasons to have those enabled.

• Help desk cannot respond to UAC prompts over Remote Assistance

  I'm trying to use the in-built Remote Assistance (RA) software in Windows 7 to support my users. I initiate a RA session with the user and ask to remotely control their desktop. They tick a little check box that says something to the effect of 'allow helper to respond to UAC prompts' and it pops up with a UAC prompt. The user cannot respond to the UAC prompt because they're not a local administrator - I am. Isn't that what that little check box is for??? I've found this on TechNet from back in '07 on Vista. From what I've found, I could disable UAC (terrible idea) or make all my users local administrators on their computers (yet another terrible idea). I'm hoping that MS has fixed this little oversight in Windows 7. Remote Assistance is completely useless to me if I can't respond to UAC prompts with my username and password

  What I want/need/desire is to log when a user logs into my FTP server. Problem: I can't make swatch work the way I should be able to. This data is logged to a file - but of course these logs are not kept very long. I can't keep the logs around forever, but I can extract data from then, analyze it, store results elsewhere. If there is a better way to do this than the following, I'm all ears. Az új ÁFA csomag az alábbi három új kimutatás csoportot tartalmazza, amelyek a jelenlegi ÁFA megoldáshoz hasonlóan lehetové teszik a riport eredmények elozetes megtekintését, az eredmények véglegesítését, illetve szükség esetén másolati nyomtatás készítését: - "OHU: ÁFA analitika és összesíto jelentés 2013 (Elozetes)" - "OHU: ÁFA analitika és összesíto jelentés 2013 (Végleges)" - "OHU: ÁFA analitika és összesíto jelentés 2013 (Másolat)" A kimutatás csoportokban az alábbi programok lesznek elérhetok:  - OHU: ÁFA analitika kimutatás  - OHU: Belföldi összesíto jelentés partnerenként Az "OHU: ÁFA analitika kimutatás" funkcionális szempontból nem módosul, csak az ahhoz szükséges technikai módosítások kerülnek átvezetésre, hogy a kimutatás által összegyujtött adatok az "OHU: Belföldi összesíto jelentés partnerenként" kimutatás számára elérhetok legyenek. Az újonnan megjeleno "OHU: Belföldi összesíto jelentés partnerenként" kimutatás a NAV 1365A-01-05-ös összesíto és a 1365M lapok partnerenkénti kitöltéséhez szükséges adatokat listázza, a tervek szerint Excel formátumban, az adatokat a bevallás által kért eFt-ra kerekítve. (A riport adatok Excel formátumban történo megjelenítéséhez elofeltétel az Oracle BI Publisher termék telepítése). A lokalizációs csomagban korábban elérheto:  - "OHU: Levonható ÁFA megosztási kimutatás" és a kapcsolódó  - "OHU: ÁFA Fizeto pozíció bejegyzése" programok nem kerülnek aktualizálásra, mivel használatuk korábbi adó törvény változások miatt már nem szükséges. A 2013-ra vonatkozó ÁFA bevallások készítése során már az új "OHU: ÁFA analitika és összesíto jelentés 2013" kimutatáscsoportok futtatását javasoljuk, a korábbi ÁFA kimutatás csoportokat pedig használaton kívül kell helyezni. A 2013-tól használandó új ÁFA csomag az Oracle Support szolgáltatásán keresztül érheto el. Ügyfeleink a My Oracle Support-on 1713-as termékkódra (EMEA Add-on Localizations) megnyitott hibajegyen (SR) bejelentésével jelezhetik igényüket a fentebb részletezett lokalizációs csomagra.

• JSON Feed Appears to be XHR when it should be JS

  I don't get why it'd doing this with the 2nd feed (appearing as a XHR call rather than just JS [looking at it in Firefox/Firebug]). The 2nd feed has the exact same MIME type as Flickr's JSON feed, yet the PortlandOregon.gov one shows as XHR and i get a NULL callback when using $.getJSON and if i use $.ajax with a 'json' or 'jsonp' type i get nothing at all. If i do the Flickr one i get the normal "[object Object]" callback. Whats going on? Please help! This has been such a headache for about a week. And i have authorization to change the feed, but i have to request the change, so if anyone knows for absolute sure let me know that! So if my original string is : There are 12 monkeys I want to find '12 mon' and highlight those characters ending up with : There are < font color='red' 12 mon< /font keys BUT I also want the same result if I search for '12mon' (no space this time) This has really bent my mind! I'm sure it can be done with Regex.

  I can't seem to get the correct Unix epoch time out of this PHP DateTime object. $startingDateTime = "2005/08/15 1:52:01 am"; $foo = new DateTime($startingDateTime, new DateTimeZone("America/New_York")); echo $foo-format('U'); which gives 1124085121 Which is Mon, 15 Aug 2005 00:52:01 GMT -500 (according to http://www.epochconverter.com/) but that's incorrect by an hour. It SHOULD be 1124088721 and spit back at me as Mon, 15 Aug 2005 01:52:01 GMT -500 Any help would be appreciated.

• rdiff-backup is taking longer and longer every time it runs

In some cases there are quite a few new and changed files and in other cases, not so much. It started out taking < 10 minutes, and after a week its taking over 4.5 hrs to run. What I'm finding is that when I use Google's Webmaster Tools to fetch my site (to see what a GoogleBot sees) it sees this. • ASP.net AppendHeader not working in ASP MVC

  I'm having problems getting AppendHeader to work properly if I am also using an authorize filter. I'm using an actionfilter for my AJAX actions that applies Expires, Last-Modified, Cache-Control and Pragma (though while testing I have tried including it in the action method itself with no change in results). If I don't have an authorize filter the headers work fine. Once I add the filter the headers I tried to add get stripped.
