    So I'm trying to show a div with a toggle transition when a link is clicked. My code: $("nav ul li#about a").click(function (e) { $("div#about").slideToggle(200); e.preventDefault(); }); It works great, but I want this effect here: http://ricostacruz.com/jquery.transit/ Scroll down and find "TRANSITIONS FOR OTHER PROPERTIES". Do you see that scale effect (first demo box)? THAT is what I want instead of the slideToggle. So I want this similar effect to TOGGLE... transition IN and OUT when link is clicked.   • Change the number of consecutive frequent ssh login before temporary blocking the user login

    my server currently would temporarily refuse a user to login for certain amount of time (maybe ~20min) if the user consecutively frequent ssh login for 3 times. Can I change this behaviour (say relaxed the definition of frequent maybe from 'within 5 sec' to 'within 10 sec'; or increase the # of consecutive login from 3 to 5)? Thanks. Added: Ah.. now I think the problem was not with the ssh. I just tried on another newly installed server. consecutive successful login won't block the user. I have no sudo permission on the server I mentioned above. Now I suspect this behaviour may cause by the firewall in the system. Thanks everyone's comments. ADDED 2: Ah... after some searches. I think the server is using /sbin/iptables to do it as I can see the iptables program is there even though I don't have permission to list the rules.     I love my Delphi 4 but at the same time I see the need to talk to windows .net This is a recompiled dll that I found on sourceforge.net/projects/delphinet/ (DelphiNet03.zip) by some nice people that fund the dll from some were. The real answer is to make this dll so that fits into Delphi as true Delphi code, and not a dll clip on. So we can make objects that use dot net in Delphi. Because I’m not an assembly freak, I’m freaking out a little with a wee sweek for help! 1/ How do I link the asm code with the data info at the bottom of this code. Can some one show me which calls to look for to make this link to data. 2/ I need to find the beginning of all the procedures and functions, but I cannot find a ‘RET’ statement.   • capistrano still asks for the 1st password even though I've set up an ssh key???

    Hi, Background: I've setup an ssh key to avoid having to use passwords with capistrano per http://www.picky-ricky.com/2009/01/ssh-keys-with-capistrano.html. A basic ssh to my server does work fine without asking for passwords. I'm using "dreamhost.com" for hosting. Issue - When I run 'cap deploy' I still get asked for the 1st password (even through the previous 2nd and 3rd password requests are now automated). It is the capistrano command that start with "git clone - q ssh:....." for which the password is being requested. Question - Is there something I've missed? How can I get "cap deploy" totally passwordless? Some excerts from config/deploy.rb are: set :use_sudo, false ssh_options[:keys] = [File.join(ENV["HOME"], ".ssh", "id_rsa")] default_run_options[:pty] = true thanks PS.   • Windows 7: Search indexing is stuck

    When I open Indexing Options, it says: 4,317 items indexed Indexing in progress. Search results might not be complete during this time. It's stuck at 4,317 though; no more items have been indexed. Worst of all, SearchIndexer.exe is taking up 100% CPU (well, 50%, but I have a dual core CPU; it's taking up all processing power it can). It is not causing hard drive activity though. I tried clicking "Troubleshoot search and indexing" at the bottom of the Indexing Options window, but it couldn't find any problem. I've also tried the repair registry key that several websites suggest; I change HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Search SetupCompletedSuccessfully to 0 and restarted the computer, and it apparently repaired because it flipped back to 1, but the same problem continues to occur. It's reducing the battery life of my laptop and making it really hot so that my fans are running all the time. I've had to disable the Windows Search service. How can I fix this? Do I need to just flat-out reformat my computer? Update: I've tried rebuilding a couple times. There's nothing unusual about the locations I have to index, and I don't have any downloads in progress or anything like that. I don't see any reason why it stopped, and I noticed it much too late to do a system restore. At this point, I'm hoping someone will offer up some secret answer that will fix the problem, thus the bounty. Another update: I tried starting the service again, just to let it try yet again. It seemed okay at first (Indexing Options showed it operating at reduced speed due to user activity, and the number of files was going up). A while later I checked, and the service had stopped.   • How do I stop the natd log spam on Mac OS X with Internet Sharing?

    Hi! I have InternetSharing enabled on my Mac (Leopard), so that my iPhone can get access to the internet in a wireless environment. Every second or so, I get the following error sent to system.log: 7/2/09 2:12:33 PM natd[20861] failed to write packet back (No route to host) Sometimes, the error is 7/2/09 2:12:33 PM natd[20861] failed to write packet back (Host is down) Is there some way to either fix the problem that is causing these errors (which I'm guessing is because the iPhone doesn't maintain a wireless connection when not in use) or to prevent them from being logged?   • REPLACENULL in SSIS 2012

    While preparing my slides e demos for the forthcoming SQL Server Conference 2012 in Italy, I’ve come across a nice addition to DTS Expression language which I never noticed before and that seems unknown also to the blogosphere: REPLACENULL. REPLACENULL is the same of ISNULL in T-SQL. It’s *very* useful especially when loading a fact table of your BI solution when you need to replace unexisting reference to dimension with dummy values.
