• what is the difference between plugin and library?

  i wonder what the difference between a library and a plugin is? if a component creates a database (maybe comes with a .sql file or creates through a method) could it still be a library or is it called a plugin or module? cause i am creating a address book component and it provides methods to insert and read records in database. i don't know if i should put it in library folder or plugin folder. please shed a light on this. thanks

• php read CSV with various amount of delimiters

  I've got a script that reads in from a CSV file and sometimes the CSV files it receives contains an uneven amount of delimiters/columns so the first row could have 30 columns, the 2nd could have 20, etc. I can think of a few solutions myself ie: Count the delimiters in the widest row, then append the proper amount to each row that is short to make them even. But I was wondering if anyone had a more elegant method of doing this.

  Just wondering if someone could shed some light on a problem I'm having. The think() method is called every 100ms, and i have a few breakpoints set however the first one that gets stopped at isn't the first that should.. It seems to miss stopping on the others. Has anyone seen anything like this before? See screenshot below, the one it is stopped at is the first one it stopped at.

  Basically I have some class objects, each with three properties. Once one class object is selected in the ComboBox, the corresponding properties shows on three textboxs. I am trying to add one save button. I can change the value of the properties. Once the save button is clicked, all the class ojects with three corresponding properties are saved in the registry. Save setting for later use It seems Registing tryKey.SetValue Method can not save an object directly?

  Here are the GDI functions Chord() provided by MFC: BOOL Chord( int x1, int y1, int x2, int y2, int x3, int y3, int x4, int y4 ); BOOL Chord( LPCRECT lpRect, POINT ptStart, POINT ptEnd ); It seems to me that no such method is privided by GDI+ (the Graphics class), so how do I implement my own Chord function (with the exact same prototype) ? By the way, I just don't understand why does MS just don't provide them. Thanks.
