  • Does anyone know of a good .Net VoIP library.

    - by Vaelen
    I have been searching for ages now for a good .Net based VoIP library. After having tried conaito and SIP.Net I have still haven't found anything that truly fits my needs. Basically all of these are constructed using ActiveX. Unfortunately ActiveX and WPF don't play well together. And ClickOnce Deployment doesn't register Interop COM components. I need to find a good, pure .Net managed code implementation.

  • auto-import of packages across project in eclipse

    - by Reddy
    I have used file search functionality in eclipse to replace a specific occurrence of text with a replace text which contains a java method name in all files across the workspace. But now in all those files I have to add the import statement (for the method name to resolve). Is there an automatic way of doing this instead of manually searching and importing the package myself in all files?

  • Can I tell sitecrawlers to visit a certain page?

    - by Ace
    Hi there! I have this drupal website that revolves around a document database. By design you can only find these documents by searching the site. But I want all the results to be indexed by Googlebot and other crawlers, so I was thinking, what if I make a page that lists all the documents, and then tell the robots to visit the page to index all my documents..? Is this possible, or is there a better way to do it?

  • How to filter items in a ListBox based on a searched string

    - by tiz
    Hi all, I have a Windows Forms application (C#) containing a ListBox into which I have added some items (I'm not using a DataSource). I want to filter the items in the ListBox to show only items containing a string I'm searching for. I have done this by keeping a list of the original items and selecting matching items from that list each time the search string changes and updating the ListBox.Items Is there a more elegant/efficient way to do this?

  • Finding where varables have been declared in what file?

    - by robUK
    Hello, GNU Emacs 23.1.1 I am maintaining someones code. There are many files and directories for the headers and source files. I am wondering if there is a easy way to use emacs that when I highlight a variable name I can go straight to where it is declared? Some of the structures I am working in are declared in other header files, rather than go searching for them, I just want to be taken straight to them. Many thanks for any suggestions,

  • How ensure if java program uses UTF-8 encoding

    - by Nayn
    Hi, I recently discovered that relying on default encoding of JVM causes bugs. I should explicitly use specific encoding ex. UTF-8 while working with String, InputStynreams etc. I have a huge codebase to scan for ensuring this. Could somebody suggest me some simpler way to check this than searching the whole codebase. Thanks Nayn

  • Silverlight MVVM add record from user control

    - by strattonn
    I have a User Control for searching container numbers. If the user enters a container number that's new to the system then I want to tell the VM "I have a new record to add". The MVVM method avoids using Events to communicate with the VM as they create code-behind. Should I create a Dependency Property to trigger the VM but I don't think I've seen other controls with a "NewRecord" property? Any thoughts?

  • Flash / Actionscript wheel

    - by Shaun
    Hi, I have been asked to create a wheel for navigation similar to on the Visit Provence website. However, I don't know where to start and my Googling effort have been unsuccessful - I guess that I am searching using the wrong terms. It the the way that the wheel moves and interacts with the other segments around it that interests me. I'd really appreciate any tutorials / help that anyone can share.

  • C/C++ definitions of functions

    - by Vit
    Yesterday, I have been watching discussion here, about compilers and linkers. It was about C library function definitions. I have never thought of that, so it inspired me to do some searching, but I cannot find exactly what I want. I wonder, what is the smallest syntax you need to add into your source code to enable just printf() function. I mean the function declaration from stdio.h you need.

  • Is there anyway to get the SHA of a commit from its message?

    - by Benjol
    When doing a git tag, I'm not always great at remembering if HEAD~6 (for example) is inclusive or exclusive. Given that most of my commits are prefixed with an issue number, I wondered if there is some magic command for searching for the commit SHA from part of its message. I know it's easy to do a git log and work from there, but I want more easy :)

  • C++ TerminateProcess function

    - by jemper
    I've been searching examples for the Win32 API C++ function TerminateProcess() but couldn't find any. I'm not that familiar with the Win32 API in general and so I wanted to ask if someone here who is better in it than me could show me an example for, Retrieving a process handle by its PID required to terminate it and then call TerminateProcess with it. If you aren't familiar with C++ a C# equivalent would help too.

  • Start a list from a certain number

    - by Colin
    What's the best way to get a ul to start from 'x'? The start tag is depricated and everything I have found on Google has used the :before pseudo class which doesn't work in IE6 or 7. Didn't have much luck when searching stack either. Only thing I can think of is manually go through and number the lists myself and style accordingly? Any help appreciated.
